Five Wagons of Revival

6 Jul

a vision by Robin McMillan

When I face certain kinds of spiritual attack I have learned to go on the offensive. I lay in bed early one morning prior to speaking in a conference feeling oppressed and tired even after a good nights sleep. I knew I needed to move in faith so I began to declare aloud parts of Psalm 91:

‘He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no evil foe can withstand! I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge, He is my fortress, my God, on Him will I lean and rely, and in Him will I confidently trust! Surely then He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings I shall take refuge; His truth shall be my shield and buckler.’

The power of the word of God is released when believed and spoken! As I proclaimed these vital verses the dunamis of God began strengthening my soul. So I did it again with renewed strength and more conviction.

“Suddenly, I saw in the top of my hotel room a type of open spiritual passageway. I knew instinctively that I could leap into it and be carried into the realm of the heavens. So I did. At lightening speed I zoomed through the atmospheric realm of the prince of the power of the air. I heard demonic voices saying, ‘Hey, you can’t come through here!’ I laughed knowing their attempts to stop me were in vain. I was going and that was that!

“I landed in the heavens in a shadow like place under a huge dark wing at least 12’0” tall. Tennis ball size and larger precious stones beyond description exuded from the enormous wing. Gold and silver particles and other precious metals were coming out of the wing. I had never seen anything like it before. I was confused. At first I didn’t understand why the place was so dark. I thought angel’s wings would be white, but then I realized something. Had I not just boldly proclaimed that I would dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty? Had I not declared that He would deliver me from the snare of the fowler, you know, the bird catcher? That’s quite a promise for a man named Robin! Had I not emphatically proclaimed; ‘He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings I shall take refuge?’ I was not under a massive angel’s wing but had found refuge under the very wing of the Great Eagle, the One of whom I had been proclaiming.”

Five Supernatural Wagons

In that place the Lord authorized me to bring back and release five wagons of divine substance. The first one was a wagon called ‘Deliverance from Deserved Consequences’. The second wagon was called ‘Deliverance from Criticism and the Critical Spirit’. The third wagon was called ‘Hope’. The fourth wagon was called ‘Provision’. The fifth wagon was called ‘New Vision for the United States’.

Interpretation and Meaning of the Wagons

One characteristic of this kind of spiritual encounter is that you instinctively know things. I knew I would find the significance and understanding of the wagons in the story of the amazing restoration of Joseph to his father Jacob and his brothers recorded in Genesis 45. A significant part of the restoration occurred because of wagons Joseph sent to his father to prove he was alive.

“And Joseph sent to his father these things: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain, bread, and food for his father and for the journey” (Genesis 45: 23).

“Then they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to Jacob their father. And they told him, saying, ‘Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.’ And Jacob’s heart stood still, because he did not believe them”.

“But when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived” (Genesis 45:25-27, italics mine).

Joseph’s words and Joseph’s wagons had this effect on his father: ‘The spirit of Jacob their father revived’. That is the first time the word ‘revive’ is used in the Bible. In the context of this encounter it speaks volumes. These 5 wagons, when activated, have the potential to release revival and restoration. Joseph is the clearest type of the Lord Jesus in the whole Old Testament. Some students of the scripture had found over 80 similarities between the two. For instance, the disciples thought Jesus was dead, but He was alive and Lord of All. For 22 years Joseph’s family thought he was dead. He was not only ‘not dead’ but alive and lord of all Egypt.

“Our hearts and this generation will revive when we see the amazing resources of heaven that Christ Jesus has provided for the world as represented by these five wagons!

Wagon #1

The first wagon was called Deliverance from Deserved Consequences. Jesus loves people so much that He wants to set them free from their bad choices and decisions. Perhaps you did the wrong thing, you made the wrong choice, yes, you sinned –but, Jesus wants to set you free from what you deserve and the consequences of your actions.

Wagon #2

“The second wagon was called Deliverance from Criticism and the Critical Spirit! Jesus can set wounded people free from the effects of people’s criticisms to become who He says they are. That wagon is also intended to deliver us from being critical. Remember, Jesus also warned that we would be judged in direct proportion to our condemnation of others.

Wagon #3

The third wagon was called Provision. God has provided for the needs and desires of His people. It’s all in heaven. In Matthew 6:10 Jesus taught us to pray, ‘Your Kingdom come in earth as it is in heaven,’ and meant that what happens in heaven should happen on earth. There are no poor people in heaven, no sick, no depressed either! We can access all that heaven contains.

Wagon #4

“The fourth was a wagon called Hope. Hope is an indispensable commodity. It is the foundation for faith, for ‘faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). The Apostle Paul said that hope anchors our soul. Hope secures our entire mental welfare and energizes our life of faith! Hopelessness is the fruit of believing lies. Jesus said we would know the truth and the truth would set us free. One who accurately knows Jesus and believes the truth is filled with a hope that cannot be extinguished!

Wagon # 5

The fifth wagon is called ‘New Vision for the United States’. In the story of Joseph Pharaoh provided the very best place in all of Egypt for them called Goshen which means ‘drawing near.’  James 4:8 says, ‘Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.’ If our nation will draw near to God, He will draw near to us and change our nation! I believe that is going to happen in the United States. We are on the verge of another Great Spiritual Awakening that shall once again reshape our nation.

Activating the Five Wagons

Why were these heavenly blessings in wagons? Wagons are pulled by something called ‘the tongue.’ You must properly use your tongue to access what’s in them. The wagons I saw were huge ancient wooden ones with wheels having big wooden spokes. You could say they were ‘spoken’ wheels. How we use our tongue and our spoken words are so important:

‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit’ (Proverbs 18:21).

‘For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation’ (Romans 10:10).

Each of us may access the contents of these heavenly wagons by believing in the existence of their substance and speaking their reality by an agreement of faith. Jesus has so much for us. The reviving of our nation is His intention. Lay hold of these five wagons and see what happens in your life. The time is now.

I Love to Tell the Story

28 May

a dream by Julie Meyer

An Invitation to Intercession

God is stirring His people to pray. God is raising up houses of prayer, prayer movements, and ministries who realize the great need for prayer and for having foundations of intercession firmly established before ministry takes place.

People are bowing their knee in reverence to our Holy God, believing that He gives more when we simply ask. God set it up that way – that we would be co-laborers with Him, joining Jesus the Great Intercessor. We are simply to ask – knowing that God is listening and answering our simple prayers (Isaiah 64:4).

The revivalists of old were men and women given to prayer. Before a Word was preached, the Heavens were stormed with prayers and petitions asking God to come, to act, and to move. We are now entering a new era – for never before in history has God moved on the hearts of people worldwide with such an invitation to intercession.

Across the nations of the earth, men and women, young and old, are giving their lives as a fragrance before the Lord in day and night prayer. Houses of prayer, prayer movements, and praying churches are arising worldwide with the revelation that God moves when His people simply ask.

A Great Greater Awakening

I heard a fresh cry exploding out of Heaven – an invitation for the nations to become part of the prayer movement that is blowing across the face of the earth like an unstoppable wave leading to a  Great Greater Awakening.

I was told in the dream to study and look back to the 1700s and the first Great Awakening – for this is our story. We are invited to say “yes” to prayer – we are invited to all become part of the story.

I saw that many intercessors have grown weary and have become dull; therefore help from Heaven was sent to strengthen the heart of the intercessors, the prayer movements, and the houses of prayer that a glorious people would arise in unending prayers.

We are in a Revelation 3:1-2 time frame, “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain…”

God is inviting us to join His Son, the Great Intercessor, in prayer to birth His purposes on the earth. He is inviting us to be a part of the storyline of the ages. We are to be vigilant, to keep careful watch over His promises and purposes through intercession, to set our hearts towards Him, and to turn resolutely in the direction of agreement with His Heart for these days.

I Had An Impacting Dream

I was in a deep sleep and the dream started with the President of our Bible College singing an old hymn called, I love to Tell the Story.” His voice was like a mega phone awakening my heart to the old, old story. I had not heard this hymn in years since singing it as a young girl in the Methodist Church. He was wearing a blue suit and holding an old hymnal. His voice was loud. His voice was strong. He never stopped singing this old hymn throughout the entire dream.

As he was singing, these words and this melody awakened my heart all throughout the dream. It was as if the hymn was the backdrop to the entire dream.

Suddenly, I stepped into a scene where I saw seven ambulances all in a row with their lights flashing. They were lined up one in back of the other. There was great alarm in my spirit when my eyes beheld such a scene.

I noticed there were people on the sidewalk who were not that interested in the ambulances. Everyone was continuing to have their coffee and were talking – they were not looking at what was happening. People were just doing their thing and not bothered by the alarm that I felt in my body by the flashing lights. It was as if they did not even notice they were there. They were laughing and talking and having coffee, going about their day-to-day schedules.

Still the Song Was Arising

I love to tell the story. ‘Twill be my theme in glory. To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I went and looked in the first ambulance and heard the attendant say, “I cannot find a heartbeat” and I saw someone lying still on a gurney. I saw tiny, thin, and feeble legs. The attendant looked at me and said, “It’s the intercessors. We are trying to revive the intercessors.”

I looked in again and it was as if the eyes of my heart were opened and I could see on the inside, and their hearts were failing. For the promises of Revival were so long in coming, it was as if the promises became too long to wait for and they were giving up and their hearts were failing. So I ran to the next ambulance and the same thing was happening. I looked in and the attendant said, “I cannot find a heartbeat.”

As I peered into the ambulance I noticed that these attendants were not mere human beings; they were heavenly beings sent from the Throne of God. They were tall, they were large, they were glowing as if lit from the inside with fire. Could these be the messengers of fire we find in Psalm 104:4? It gave my heart great hope to know that God has sent His angelic help to restart the hearts of the weary, the tired, the hopeless, and the feeble. These were the intercessors who have fallen asleep, those who have stopped contending because it became too long to contend.

Suddenly, one of the attendants from the seventh ambulance at the end yelled, “I have a faint heartbeat,  but it’s dull.” With those words, all the attendants leaned out of the back doors of the ambulances and they all shouted, “What did you do?”

The attendant in the last ambulance said, “Tell the old, old stories. For, as I began to tell the old, old stories, I found a faint heartbeat.” So the attendants of the other ambulances began to tell the old, old stories, and I began to listen to these stories.

Tell the Old Stories!

These stories went back to the 1700s. They began to talk about Count Zinzendorf and the Moravians, John Wesley, George Whitfield, and Charles Spurgeon, and many others.

Suddenly the atmosphere was filled with shouts of, “I found a heartbeat, but it is dull.” I ran to another ambulance looked in, and this time I saw a faint movement. Suddenly, this Heavenly attendant gave an order, like a command, saying:

“Tell the old, old stories because the old, old stories are YOUR storyline, they are YOUR history, back as far as Count Zinzendorf and the Moravians, John Wesley, George Whitfield, Charles Spurgeon

…For the baton was passed from generation to generation. The prayer movements of this day are the answer to the prayers of those in the great storyline of the ages. There is a timeline of Prayer Generals from generations past and their prayer was that the Generals of prayer in ‘these’ days would arise; the prayer movement of ‘these’ days is the answer to their cries.

“You are in the storyline of the old, old story for their prayers begat your prayer. Put yourself in the timeline of the old, old story because the old, old, story – when told – will ignite the heart again.

Though it will start as a dull beat, when EACH person will see themselves in the timeline of the old, old story, that dull heartbeat will begin to get stronger and stronger.  For these are your ancestors – the prayer warriors of the ancient days – who lifted their cry for ‘this day and this hour’ that a people of prayer would arise in the earth to welcome back the King of kings.”

Renewal in itself will not awaken dull hearts. But if you see yourself in the old, old story – the more you listen and put yourself in the history of the great storyline of prayer and revival – you will see yourself as THE ANSWER.

You are the continuation of their prayers. For the intercessors God is raising up today – the prayer movements in the earth today – are the answer to the prayers lifted up generations and generations ago taking us into the greatest awakening – the Great Greater Awakening.

These are Your ancestors. YOU become the story, the plan, the answer, the Revival for today – then you will never go back to dull hearts.

And the Attendant Spoke Again

“Tell the old, old stories. Remember the old, old stories and see yourself in the storyline of Count Zinzendorf and the Moravians, John Wesley, George Whitfield, and Charles Spurgeon, and many others who were great men and women of prayer – Charles Finney, Maria Woodworth-Etter, Smith Wigglesworth, Aimee Semple McPherson, Kathryn Kuhlman…”

You are IN their story. Their History is YOUR history, for you are the answer to their prayers:  for a glorious and praying people,  a shining and praying Bride,  would arise in the earth who love prayer;  and this cry of prayer will birth the Great Greater Awakening to welcome Him back.

I Could Still Hear the Song Being Sung:

I love to tell the story   ‘Twill be my theme in glory   To tell the old, old story   Of Jesus and His love

It was almost as if I could hear prayers that were prayed centuries back – crying out for those who would take the baton to begin to cry out again until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

You are a part of the story. We are a part of the story. It’s almost as it we are the answer to the cries of prayer throughout the ages. Cries that said, “Let a people who love prayer welcome Him back.” Let a praying people lift their voice for revival – let a billion souls come into the Kingdom.

This is our story. This is our history. This is our season to take up the baton and pray,  and then, watch revival spring up. We are in their storyline and they are in ours.

Aimee Semple McPherson’s life was marked by unprecedented boldness that said, “Let’s not waste our time quarreling over methods and doctrines.”. She accomplished what no man had been able to do and build a temple that seated 5,000 people and filled it four times on Sundays and twice weekly. This temple became the envy of Hollywood theater owners. She also ministered at highly sought-after healing services. She reached the unreachable and opened doors for Christ through which no man had gone before through the media. It is interesting to note that in the same year Aimee was launching her radio station, Kathryn Kuhlman was just beginning to preach as a teenager, and Maria Woodworth-Etter had just breathed her last breath at 80 years of age.

This is our story. This is our history and the joy of the journey ahead  through prayer; and we put ourselves in the great storyline of the ages to welcome the Great Greater Awakening and to welcome Jesus the Coming King.

I Love To Tell The Story

Text: Katherine Hankey, 1834–1911
Music: William G. Fischer, 1835–1912

I love to tell the story of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true;
It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems
Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams.
I love to tell the story, it did so much for me;
And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.

I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story; ’tis pleasant to repeat
What seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet.
I love to tell the story, for some have never heard
The message of salvation from God’s own holy Word.

I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story, for those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.
And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song,
‘Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.

That was my dream…

Revival is Coming

7 Feb

a visitation experienced by Andrea Aasen on November 2, 2012

Introduction by Patricia King

A revival is on its way and it will have a global impact and reach. Get ready! Prepare the way of the Lord through joyful expectation, prayer, and decree. Set your hearts apart for him because a great revival wave is coming. Get excited because God is coming in weighty manifestations of Grace and Truth which will produce conviction, salvation, healings, deliverances, resurrections, miracles, signs, wonders, and the cleansing of “unclean flesh” (spiritual and natural lepers).

Andrea Aasen is our Cambodia, Operation Justice leader. She is very prophetic and has proven to be extremely accurate. She is a pure vessel and I take note of her words.  She is very trustworthy.  Recently she had a visitation from the Lord that confirmed very specifically things the Lord had revealed to me and many others while in His presence.  I am including her record of the visitation below (I edited it slightly to exclude and adjust parts that were personal and not for public readership).

Be blessed! Amazing days lie ahead for us.

Patricia King

The vision

I woke up with a visitation from the Fear of the Lord like I have never had before. This visitation has personal application for the nations.

Then the Lord took me into a vision, and this, too, was unlike what I have ever seen or experienced . . . He took me to see the actual fulfillment of the following scriptures . . . He held my hand, and led me on a “tour” to see what was coming, and I traveled to see us “living” in the following . . .

First, the visitation of the Fear of the Lord came, and I saw the Lord coming in His Holiness and Grace. And the Fear of the Lord surrounded us with a circle of fire.

1.)  Suddenly, I entered into Zechariah 2:4-5, where I saw the fire encircle us (no walls / boundaries anymore) and in middle of the fire was the “glory in her midst”.

2.)  Then I entered into Matthew 5:14, and I saw the “Light of the World”, which was this glory being “seen”.

3.)  The Lord next took me into Isaiah 49:6, where He showed me this light going to the nations.

4.)  Next into Isaiah 60 – to see the glory of Zion.

Then I heard the Lord say, “fortification is coming” . . . He is making the city strong.

And I next went into . . .

5.) 1 Peter 2:6 – a rebuilding of the cornerstone of Zion, and I saw the houses of the Lord being rebuilt / restored . . . literally I saw tons of thousands, upon thousands, upon thousands – as far as you could see, working to restore the house.

6.) And I then saw Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1 – and I saw the Body being aligned in body, soul, and spirit.  There was a huge angel with a great tuning fork striking it, and as he struck the sound was released, and with each strike I saw the breath of God coming forth, but His breath was fire and the Life was in the Fire.  The Body was being prepared, and the Purifier/Helper came (I was taken to see Jesus’ body in the tomb being prepared and then His rising and the release of the Spirit / our helper coming to dwell in our midst . . . and I saw the prophetic that was released in that moment to be “activated” now).  And another angel came and sounded a great trumpet, and I saw it shaking and crumbling mountains. And I heard the Julie Meyer song, “Prepare the Way of the Lord” sounding, echoing, in great weight.

7.) And then I saw into Matthew 3:11-12, where I saw Angels of Fire coming with the wind, and burning up all the chaff. And God said a “fresh fire” is coming like never before . . . a corporate baptism of fire. He said it’s a “restoration of fire” . . . and I saw the same angel of restoration that had visited previously, and again His eyes danced with fire . . . and this time he looked on the face of the nations and the nations looked back, and I saw Him pointing to Jesus . . . and I saw the eye of the Lord and eyes of His people, and He was looking at us, but we were looking back . . . it was a restoration of “first love”.

8.) And lastly I saw Revelation 1:8, and I saw a twisting and turning and bending and folding in the spirit – a dimension in time coming into an activation and release with the Spirit – the Almighty God being made known in fullness.  And I saw the former generation meeting with the latter generation, which was a prophetic act to release the fullness of God . . . what I actually saw was an embodiment of the Lord, where He was now able to be seen as “Alpha and Omega” . . . an actual “veil” that was removed from eyes, and the “yes” of the people was made known . . . this happened when the unity arose between the former and latter  . . . a joining to bring about “He that was, and is, and is to come.”

And I saw a treasure chest with a lock and key being opened to reveal the mysteries of Heaven to the sons of God. The interesting part was that the treasure chest had already been opened, but I saw the sons surrounding it, and they were asking for and receiving the revelation being released with open arms.  And then I saw a great banquet table, and I saw the “hunger” of God being stirred (I saw their bellies and a swirling of fire entering into each one to draw forth a great hunger), and they salivated and waited at the table for the meal to be served . . . and when the meal came it was devoured, but as they ate the food kept coming – it just kept multiplying and never ran out . . . and they just kept eating and eating and eating (they were very undignified while eating I might add . . . LOL), just devouring all they could and couldn’t eat fast enough.  And as the invitation was extended, and the table grew to accommodate more . . . and there was always enough . . . and I heard a voice in heaven echoing that phrase “There is always enough!!”

After the vision, I went into prayer, and I saw an individual holding a treasure chest, and in the chest was a “remembrance” of all of their plowing and sacrifices . . . and the chest was filled with seeds . . . just filled and overflowing with seeds.  And I heard the Lord say that a TOTAL RESTORATION is coming.

23 Sep

a vision by Carol Shugart

The Lord has asked me to write down this vision and send it to certain people who are involved intimately with worship or will be in the future.

More than a dozen years ago I had a vision that lasted 8 hours. Just as my head touched the pillow, I saw a worship service before me. It was not going well. The music was slow and mournful, and many of the people in the congregation were thinking about other things. Some were yawning. Some were sitting and balancing their checkbooks. The worship leaders began playing a joyful song that focused on the power of God. Many of the people who were sitting began shaking their heads with distaste. They thought the song was undignified. Others said it was disrespectful and sat down. I was undecided because I liked the song, but I didn’t want to displease God.

Suddenly a ribbon appeared in my hand. I realized that I had seen one used by a gymnast in the Olympics. Still, I couldn’t imagine what I was supposed to do with it. I had never seen one used in a church service. I waved it timidly and it took on a life of its own. It swirled above the people’s heads and demons began to manifest. Suddenly I realized that the other people in the congregation could not see the demons, but I saw them clearly…retreating, backing away, and running for their lives! Then I understood. The song was about the power of God, the name of Jesus, and the blood of Jesus. The demons were crying out in pain. The blood was burning them. But more important, the people were being set free from bondages and from religious spirits.

I was delighted. Not only were the demons leaving, but the people were coming alive with the fire of God. I began pursuing the demons, driving them out of the church, and as I did, I began to dance. This was NOT the sort of dance you might learn in a class. In my mind’s eye, I was seeing how I was supposed to turn and step before I ever moved. As the Holy Spirit showed me what to do, I did my best to imitate what I saw, and somehow the ribbon would touch a demon and cause it to leave. It was a holy, powerful time of walking in the Spirit and watching God move.

I watched this scene for some time and looked at the clock. Four hours had passed. I praised God joyfully for the glorious vision and rolled over to go to sleep. But, God was not finished. The vision continued. I found myself back in the worship service. Now many others were dancing and driving off demons. Many who had been bound by earthly habits were now more interested in walking in the Spirit. They were learning to obey His instructions and watch Him move in power. We were clapping rhythmically, but only when He told us to, with one mind and one accord. The demons were gone.

Suddenly, as quickly as it had begun, God told me to stop and kneel beside the rod that held the ribbon. I obeyed, and so did everyone else. The musicians had stopped playing because they were kneeling as well. Everyone was on their faces before God, listening intently to hear a word from Him. It was a reverential time. A holy hush surrounded us as we waited on God. Then, I could see the angels descending surrounded by the glory cloud of God. The cloud was just about to reach the tops of the chairs when some of the people began to feel very, very uncomfortable. They stood up abruptly and started clapping and praising God. They did this because His glory made them feel awkward, so they felt they had to do something to break the silence. I watched sadly as the angels ascended upward taking the glory cloud with them.

The worship leaders were crying with anguish, but one brave soul walked to the microphone and said that the next part of worship would be simply LISTENING. We all knelt again and just waited. It took longer this time, because we had to return to that intimate place of deep worship. Finally, the angels returned and the cloud surrounded us. People were being healed spontaneously where they knelt. Unbelievers were being saved. Others were freed from addictions. God was also giving instructions to each believer who asked. It was glorious!

Then I heard songs of the Lord erupt from different believers. Each song had a different melody, and the messages showed where the church would be going in the coming months. Sometimes the songs were connected, and sometimes they changed direction, but always they were led by God. Sometimes God spoke to individuals, but this came as tongues and interpretation. This is what I learned while listening to the songs of the Lord:

  1. I couldn’t dance unless the songs focused on the awesomeness of God. This was imperative, because otherwise the people would have their eyes on the dancer instead of on God.
  2. The songs had to be joyful before the people could move out in dancing. The dancing drove away a spirit of heaviness which robs people of the joy of the Lord. People had to let go of unforgiveness to move with God.
  3. Songs used for spiritual warfare often had clapping and strong rhythms. The demons fled from the clapping. It was as though God’s voice was in the clapping of the people.
  4. Prophetic dances came when the people were moving in spiritual warfare. Sometimes believers would stop singing and a prophecy would come forth. Everyone seemed to know when to sing, when to dance, when to kneel, and when to be silent. This came from unity in the Spirit.
  5. There could only be a song of the Lord during the silent times because each song had a different melody. They couldn’t come forth when the musicians were playing their instruments because the melodies would clash. For this reason, the songs of the Lord usually came forth after the congregation finished quietly waiting on God.
  6. Waiting on God sometimes changed to fervent intercession with cries for deliverance from sin. This was the time of repentance and prayer for the nation. I heard the sound of revival.

I recently heard a prophecy that God would wake up believers before dawn so they could pray in the Spirit before demons could move to destroy people. God woke me up the next morning and I began praying in tongues. I heard the sound of millions of believers snapping to attention, one after another after another without end. It was the same sound of revival resounding across the globe. God is moving to heal our land.

God bless you all, Carol Shugart

Come Again Holy Spirit!

11 Sep

by James W. Goll

One of the most consistent ways the Lord speaks to me is through the avenue of dreams. Many of my writing and speaking assignments are given to me in such a manner. Prayer assignments over the years have almost always come in the forms of visitations and visions. This is true especially if it is a strategic assignment.

While ministering in Brazil in this past July, I was seeking the Lord for His mind and thoughts concerning future movements of the Holy Spirit. I went to sleep in my hotel room in Belo Horizonte and woke up out of a “stunner of a dream”. The manifested presence of God was riveting on my body as an after effect of this dream encounter. It shook me.

I have yet to tell the full dream experience publicly, but I have been directed to present portions of it to you now. Perhaps I will be released at a later date and in the proper setting to actually proclaim the message. For now, I am going to steer away from my craft of interpreting and just bring you the raw message.

Like an eagle in flight, I was hovering over the globe in search of a place to land. Suddenly the entire west coast of the United States came before me. I was zoomed in upon the state of California and with the eye of an eagle I saw glimpses of redemptive purposes and plans. I then turned in flight over portions of southern California and I saw something that seemed unusual. Southern California was a womb for the body of Christ. She had been used to conceive the Word and the Spirit over the last one hundred years of the Church and to bring forth different movements of God.

My “knower” was on high alert as I flew over Los Angeles and Orange County that this womb had already received another word – implanted at least a year earlier – and that another long-term, almost overdue, birth was imminent. I then soared over Pasadena and the next thing I knew, the eagle suddenly flew into the historic Mott Auditorium on the hallowed grounds of William Carey University.

The Mott Auditorium was packed with worshipping believers with standing room only. The place was electric with the presence of God. Rabid worship was happening with occasional authoritative declarations by various leaders. I noticed a few desperate pastors I know crying out with anguish for God to visit them once again. Then things suddenly shifted.

All of a sudden, the late John Wimber, former leader of the Vineyard Movement and voice for the Third Wave, was firmly standing on the newly purple-carpeted platform. The cultural atmosphere was now pregnant with a realm of the glory and the thick majesty of God. Then I heard and felt the voice of John Wimber echo an invitation that rattled the entire place. He simply declared, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT!”

People starting crashing to the floor en masse under the impact of the power and authority that resonated in those simple words. Once again another sound wave was released, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT.” It was not gentle Jesus showing up or the comforting dove of God manifesting. It was not just another renewal or revival meeting – though it seemed to include all of those qualities. It was the violent invasion of heaven entering a time and space world. It was a church quake.

I felt the reverberation coming off the sound waves of the voice of the invitation. It shook the very building, the grounds and all those present. The fear of the Lord fell and an earthquake of a 5.7 magnitude resulted. The quake resulted in an anointing resting on Psalm 57. “Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me. For my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until destruction passes by. I will cry to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me. He will send from heaven and save me.”

People screamed in terror as the entire grounds and buildings were rattled by the sound of God’s voice being heard and felt once again. Signs and wonders broke out but it appeared as an after effect, not the primary goal. Then a third time I heard the pronouncement from John Wimber, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT!” People crashed onto the floor in droves.

As I pen this, I just now realized some things I had forgotten. I was reminded of them as they just flashed suddenly within me as I compose this. I also saw the late Jill Austin, one of the fieriest prophetesses of the last decade, gazing in upon what was happening and smiling. I heard her laugh echo over the occurrence as to say, “I told you He was coming!” I saw a great cloud of witnesses including Aimee Simple McPherson and others who were gathering around to peer in upon this strange outbreak. The convergence of old anointings – still seemingly resident upon California – were now colliding.

My senses were heightened. It was July and I was ministering in Brazil – a land pregnant with revival – but suddenly it appeared to be another season. It was Fall – right at the time of the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah. Then pages of a book flipped quickly from one chapter of time to another and suddenly it was 40 days and nights later. I smelled smoke in Mott Auditorium as if the place had been filled with the burning fiery sacrifices of violent praise and worship. I smelled burnt flesh. I smelled aromas of life and death simultaneously at work.

Short messages from different anointed vessels were a part of this new sound wave but again it was not the main thing. Miracles happened – they just suddenly occurred. But again, this was not the aim. It was not why the people even assembled. Yes, there were even short passionate pleas and desperate cries for help! But even that was not the central focus. This move of God centered on the radical worship of the One – Christ Jesus the Lord – and the welcoming with abandonment of the third person of the Godhead – the Holy Spirit! The jealousy of God permeated the experience.

It was not a conference. It was not polished. It was not even 24/7 as we presently know it. It was raw and overpowering. It was not rehearsed. It was an invasion of the Holy Spirit Himself.

A window of opportunity had opened and this uncontrollable surging sound wave jumped spontaneously around the globe. A man appeared on a pogo stick gleefully jumping from city to city and nation to nation. The man on the stick was William Seymour of the historic Azusa Street Revival. He leapt across the nations and everywhere his pogo stick landed, light came for a brief moment! The nations were in an uproar – and fire and light were falling around the globe.

A Line Has Been Drawn in the Sand.” Terror gripped me. I shook. I honestly did not know what was coming next. I still do not know having pondered deeply on this experience. Was it Days of Glory or impending societal chaos? Was it times of economic collapse or reformation where a new order was created out of tumultuous uncertainty? I honestly was left not knowing what the outcome or the result was or would be.

But this I knew. Hope for the fragmented body of Christ and the nations was being released. An invitation was being sent from heaven to earth and a line was being drawn in the sand.

The word went in me. The word penetrated me. The word has disturbed me. But this I know, heaven has a word that must be heard in the earth realm, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT!” And the invitation must have an urgent and appropriate response.

In the Fear of the Lord,

A Field of Dreams or Nightmares?

30 Jul

A vision revisited by Rick Joyner, July 2012

Several years ago, while I was praying about the future of our economy, I was given a vision of a long, lush green field.

I felt that this represented a long period of economic prosperity, which has generally been the case since that time. While praying in August, I saw this field in a vision again, but with much more detail. The end of the field was covered in fog. Not far into the fog there was a very steep cliff. In the middle of the cliff there was a narrow, twisting, steep path that appeared like a descending bridge. It had the same green grass on it that the field did, and went all the way to the bottom.

Those who walked into the fog almost all missed the little path and fell over the cliff. Some of these died, but there were nets below the cliffs that caught many of them. However, these nets were not there to save the people but to trap them. Others entered the fog carefully, dropping to their knees and searching for the path, which they seemed to intuitively know was there. Most of those looking for the path were able to find it, and carefully started down on their knees. A very few people had parachutes, and they jumped off the cliff into the fog.

At the bottom there was a sea with four kinds of ships in the harbor—slave ships, warships, luxury liners, and hospital ships. Most of the ships were slavers. The next greatest number were warships. There were only five hospital ships, all of which were on clean, well-kept docks right in the middle of the harbor. The two luxury liners were docked at each end of the harbor. There were an abundance of supplies on their docks, but both the docks and ships looked filthy and poorly maintained. No warships were docked, but all kept moving about in the harbor.

The people who fell into the nets were put on the slave ships. Most of those who made it down the steep paths headed for the hospital ships, but many did head for the luxury liners. Of those who headed for the luxury liners, some were captured and made to board a slave ship. The luxury liners were closely guarded, and obviously under the control of the warships. The warships occasionally took people from the slave ships and luxury liners, and they were taking whoever they wanted; they could not be resisted.

Those from the hospital ships were also taking people from the other ships, but they were only taking those who were the weakest, or who were so sick or wounded that they were not expected to live. The crewmen of the hospital ships were shown respect because they wore brilliant armor that seemed to confound everyone else. Those who were jumping off the cliff with the parachutes were all landing on the hospital ships or their docks.

When a slave ship would fill up it would depart, making frequent turns as if it really did not know where it was going. The warships were also making so many turns that it seemed impossible to tell which way they would go next. Any ship that happened to be in the way of a warship when it turned was blasted and sunk by the warship. If the warships turned toward each other they started shooting at each other until one was sunk.

Because of the fog many ships collided with other ships and sank. The water was filled with sharks that quickly devoured those who fell into it. The confusion, despair and fear over the harbor was as thick as the fog. When the fog thickened, these fears would intensify. When the fog would thin a little, hope would begin to rise in the people. When the fog lifted enough the open sea could be seen, and the ships would begin heading for it.

The hospital ships were also the only ones who seemed to be sailing as if they knew where they were going. They could sail right through the chaos in the harbor and into the open sea at will. One or two of them were constantly going out to sea, disappearing for a time, and then they would return. Then another would go and do the same.

As I followed one of these ships to the open sea in the vision, all of a sudden it was if I was standing on the bridge of the ship. The further out we went, the more the sky cleared. Soon it became more blue than I had ever seen it, except when flying in a high altitude jet. I was so intrigued by the sky that I had not been watching the sea. When I looked back at it I saw that we were actually flying at a very high altitude .

I thought that we were going out into space, but soon we descended toward what appeared to be a whole new world. It was composed of islands, each with a different culture of people on it. The wounded on our hospital ship were placed on several of the different islands, so that each wounded person was placed with those from his or her own culture.

These islands were at perfect peace, and there were beautiful white bridges connecting them to one another, with a constant flow of people on the bridges. On each island vast foundations were being laid for a great city.

Even though each island was very different, and different from any place that I had ever seen, I felt immediately at home on each one. They were each like paradise, and though they seemed to be on a different world, I knew that they were somehow very close to the one I had just left.

Interpretation and Insights:

That I can now see the end of this field indicates that the end of our economic prosperity is now in sight. What I saw at the end was much more catastrophic than I had ever thought. There are some very dark times ahead, but at the same time there is a whole new world being built right in our midst that is more wonderful than we can even imagine.

To the degree that we have built our lives and faith on the economy of the world, we have built on a very shaky foundation. We know that the time will come when everything that can be shaken will be. The time that we have been given until that happens is for the purpose of preparation. Let us build our hope and trust on the kingdom which alone cannot be shaken.

Those who kept walking into the fog just as they had been walking in the open field, not discerning, or not acknowledging the change, either perished, or fell into slavery. Those who immediately fell to their knees were able to find a safe way down, but it still led down. They had to stay on their knees all the way; no one could have stood up on that slope because it was too steep and narrow. Falling to our knees speaks of prayer. As soon as we see the fog, or confusion, we must pray for every step we take thereafter.

That no one ascended, but all went down to the bottom of the cliff, spoke to me that the economy of the whole world was going down. Many will survive what is coming, but not at the level they are presently. Much of our present standard of living has been built upon credit, borrowing from the future, and the future is now here. We are fast approaching the time when the bills will have to be paid. That will cause a drastic reduction of our present lifestyles.

I felt that the slave ships were banks. During the Great Depression, banks were so over extended that most of them failed. Somehow, they have now positioned themselves to not only survive another economic collapse, but will actually be in a place to enslave those who are in debt to them.

The warships were all different sizes, and I felt represented different powers. Their efforts were not coordinated, but they all seemed to be in as much confusion as everyone else, and all seemed to be at war with one another. They lived by plundering the other ships, and each other. I believe that in the times ahead small wars will be flashing up almost everywhere, and without reason. Anyone who just gets in the way of those with some power will be in trouble.

The luxury ships were so filthy that it seemed only slightly better to be on one of them instead of a slave or warship. It was obvious that the luxury of the future will not be as we know it today. Also, the luxury ships were constantly being plundered by the warships, making them almost an intolerable place to be. Even a hint of luxury in the future may only serve to make us targets.

I knew that the hospital ships were the church. They were glistening white with red crosses on them. They were so bright and clean that they stood out dramatically in this vision. White speaks of purity, and the red crosses spoke to me that they were bearing the cross. Red is also the color of sacrifice. These ships were so beautiful that anyone would have wanted to be on them. The church will become the most desirable place in the world to be, and the church will become the pure vessel she is called to be when she takes up the cross, committing herself to the life of sacrifice. In the times ahead, the life of sacrifice and service to others will be the most desirable life in the world, and will actually be a glorious place to dwell.

The people on the hospital ships each wore brilliant, silver armor. They, too, stood out dramatically whenever they appeared, and this caused everyone to show them great respect, even the warships. This spoke to me that when believers learn to wear their armor, they are going to command the whole world’s respect, and have authority because of it.

The docks of the hospital ships were also spotless, and were overflowing with supplies. There was far more wealth on them than on the luxury ships, but the wealth was being used for service, not luxury. Because the individuals with the armor, and the hospital ships, commanded such respect, no one was trying to plunder their great stocks of supplies, even though they were obvious to everyone.

When a hospital ship pulled between two warships that were fighting, they would stop fighting and give them their wounded. It seemed that this was one of the primary purposes of these ships, to simply stop the fighting whenever they could.

In the midst of the chaos of this place, the dignity, resolve and purpose that the Christians and their ships moved with was stunning. The greatest feeling came over me when I stood on the bridge of the ship leaving for the open sea. That feeling was freedom. As soon as we entered the open sea we ascended into the heavenly places. Once out of the fog we did not travel on the earth. When we came back down it was to a seemingly new earth, even though I knew somehow that it was right in the middle of what I had left.

That I entered this extraordinary freedom on a hospital ship speaks of finding our true peace when we take up our crosses to serve others. When we do that we will begin to dwell in the heavenly places. Then we will see the earth very differently, we will see what God is doing. I really felt that those paradise islands were already right in our midst, but we just could not see them yet.

At the very time when the world descends into a terrible chaos, which will probably begin with economic chaos, God is building bridges between peoples that will be the foundation of a glorious future. The end of this age is the beginning of the one over which Christ will reign. In Revelation 17:15 we are told that, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.” The sea often represents mass humanity in prophetic language. That the sea at the bottom of the cliff was in the most terrible chaos represents what the kingdoms of this world are headed for. The islands represent that the Lord is also laying a foundation for His kingdom, right in our midst, at this same time. That I knew these islands were close to the sea of confusion, spoke to me that what the Lord is about to build on the earth is also very close at hand.

The bridges are right now being built between peoples. The bridges were for interchange, and it was obvious to me that each island was building something wonderful, as if it were the very best from their culture, in order to share it with the other islands. That new foundations were being laid for cities represented a whole new beginning for the earth. What is now being built for the Lord, for the sake of His kingdom, will remain and be a foundation for the age to come.

The Great Tsunami

27 Jul

by Rick Joyner, 2011, MorningStar Prophetic Bulletin #69

In 1987 I had a two-and-a-half-day prophetic experience in which I was shown a panorama of coming events that I wrote about in my book titled, The Harvest. Most of what I saw coming has now taken place, but the biggest event of all, the harvest that was at the end of the age, has not. It is now approaching.

Jesus said, “The harvest is the end of the age” (see Matthew 13:39). This will be the greatest ingathering of new believers in history, greater than all the previous ones combined. In my vision, this came in two great waves. The first wave was the largest up until this time, but it was only the ingathering of those who were called to be the laborers in the coming even much greater one.

This first wave began shortly after I was given this vision and lasted for almost twenty years. During that time more people came to Christ around the world than had come to Him in all of history up until that time. Some estimates were that an average of almost four hundred thousand people a day were coming to Christ during its peak. There were countries where people were being born again faster than they were being born. Hundreds of millions came to Christ in Africa, South and Central America, and Asia.

Though this wave hardly seemed to touch North America and Europe, they provided many of the evangelists and workers for the other great revivals around the world, and their time is coming. I then saw a period of relative calm before the greatest of all moves of God began. We are near the end of that time and are about to be hit by a wave of revival like the earth has never seen before.

The Magnitude of the Harvest

When a tsunami is traveling across the oceans, it is barely a discernable ripple in the water, but when it approaches land, it begins to rise fast, sometimes to a height of several hundred feet. In minutes, a calm sea can rise up and sweep away everything in its path. Even though it may seem that we are in a spiritual calm now, a spiritual tsunami is coming, and we must prepare for it.

The biggest problem virtually every church will be facing is how to handle explosive growth. In the vision, I saw small churches of less than a hundred people adding a thousand new members a week at times. Of course, this happened on the Day of Pentecost, and then there were other days in which thousands came to Christ in a day. Even with a dozen apostles personally trained by the Lord, there was stress caused by this. Pressure points gave birth to new ministries such as the deacon. The infrastructure of church life that this produced is still the model that works, and we need to return to its effective simplicity to handle what is coming.

I saw churches that grew so large that they started renting football and soccer stadiums in which to hold their services. At times, hundreds of thousands would gather in parks and huge outdoor meetings just to hear Bible teachers to pray and to worship. Not only were whole cities coming to Christ, but also entire nations were coming so that the state itself became like a large church.

A few years ago I decided to watch the news for several hours a day for a week to determine what percentage of stories could be considered good news. During that time I did not see one good news story. They were all about problems, crises, disasters, and suffering. This was during the time of some of our greatest economic prosperity. Now it’s worse. However, change is coming. When this next wave hits, the news around the world is going to be dominated by good news.

We will see events like hundreds of thousands of people gathering spontaneously for prayer and worship, becoming the biggest news stories of the day. News teams will be following apostolic teams and evangelists like they do politicians and business leaders now. Much more is happening now than most are aware of, or that is making the news, but when the Lord “suddenly comes into His temple,” it will be the news, and the whole world will be aware of it.

There will be individual newscasts from secular networks that will cause more to come to Christ than Christian networks have in their entire existence. This is not to negate what has been accomplished by Christian networks but rather to stress the impact that this revival will have. We will go through a period when the news of the great things God is doing will crowd out just about all other news around the world.

Both the Welsh and the Azusa Street Revivals made front-page news around the world repeatedly for nearly two years. That was just a foretaste, a seed being planted for what is to come. The coming move of God will in some ways be a composite of many of the great moves of the past, but in one basic way it will be different—this will not just be a move of God, but it will be God moving.

This is not just semantics, because every true move of God is at least initiated by God, but He will bless many things He will not inhabit. His manifest presence will be so great in what is coming that people will not chase after individual truths, or acts of God, but they will be after the Lord Himself. He will be the conversation, not just what He does. This is a move that will lift up Jesus. When He is lifted up, all will be drawn to Him, not just to doctrines, projects, or missions, but to Him.

Doctrine certainly has its place, and there is a great need for sound biblical doctrine to be imparted to all new believers, and for all other believers to build stronger foundations on His truth. There is a need for projects and missions that are His will, but “the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing,” and the Main Thing is Jesus. The true apostolic Gospel was Jesus: “They preached Jesus and the resurrection from the dead.” Jesus will again be the Message, and it will be what He is doing that gets the attention.

What is coming is the return to the apostolic gospel. The Way is a Person. Truth is a Person, and if we don’t know that Person as our Life, then we don’t really know the Way or the Truth either. He is coming to take His rightful place in His church. When He does, the church will be profoundly changed. When Jesus becomes our desire as He should be, the church will become the ultimate society on the earth that multitudes will be streaming to. There is no greater adventure than the true Christian life, and there is nothing more boring than religion. Religion is about to be displaced by the true Christian life, and the great adventure will supplant institutional religion.

Catch the Wave

We are coming to the most exciting times in history, but this is also a warning. If we are not prepared for what is coming, we will be victims of it. This coming worldwide revival will also be one of the biggest challenges ever. Moves of God are often referred to as waves in history because a wave is an accurate metaphor. For a surfer, there are few things as thrilling as catching “the big one.” However, if you’re casually strolling in the surf and the big one catches you by surprise, you will likely eat a lot of sand and drink a lot of salt water. Revivals can do the same thing to churches and ministries that are not prepared for them.

Riding a wave is not possible unless you are positioned right to catch it. To catch a wave, you must discern where it is going to break. Then you must position yourself in the right place. Then you have to begin moving in the right direction when it comes. Though it may seem that everything is quiet right now, we need to be getting prepared for what is coming by getting into position and be ready to move in the right direction as it comes.

The most important thing that we can do to get into the right position is to recover and strengthen our first love—Jesus. We all signed up for Him, not just good teachings, or a better way to live, though we do get those too. There is nothing on earth more contagious than a person who is getting closer to the Lord. Those “who have been with Jesus” are going to start standing out as never before. We only have true spiritual authority to the degree that we are abiding in the King, and the leaders of what is coming will be those who are the closest to the Lord.

What is coming will be far too big for any human leadership or strategy to control. Only the Captain of the hosts can lead this one, and He will. It is not just hearing the words of the Lord as much as it is hearing the Word Himself. The main strategy for what is to come will be to know His voice and to obey Him. He will be giving personal direction to His people. This is why we are told in Acts 2:17-18 that “in the last days” when He pours out His Spirit, the result is dreams, visions, and prophecy upon the old and young, male and female, which obviously includes everyone. This is because we are going to need this kind of guidance for what is to come, and He is going to give it to us as He always has for those who would seek Him.

The coming move of God will be the greatest challenge we’ve ever faced but also will be the greatest time of our lives. These are the times that even the prophets of old desired to see. The Lord has saved His best wine for last, and many who are reading this will witness the greatest move of God of all time.

It is right to appreciate the honor of living in these times, but it is also right to treat it as the great responsibility that it is. To whom much is given much will be required, and this will be a time when much work must be done. Even so, when we are yoked with the Lord, we will find rest and refreshment in our labors as we are told in Matthew 11:28-30:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

“Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you shall find rest for your souls.

“For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

You do not put on a yoke to go to bed but rather to do work. However, there is no greater rest and refreshment for our souls that we could ever find than being yoked with the Lord in His work. There is no job or profession we could ever have in this life more fulfilling than doing what He created us to do before the foundation of the world. This will be life on a level more exciting and fulfilling than most have ever known. Even so, knowing and abiding in the rest of the Lord will be crucial for all during this time. As much work as there will be to do with so many coming to the faith, we must not fall to human striving. Striving is counterproductive in the work in the true work of the kingdom.

He Is Supernatural

We were created to have fellowship with God Who is Spirit. Because of this, there is a deep yearning for the spiritual, the supernatural, in every human being. Many cover it up, but we can never be truly fulfilled or at peace without this spiritual fellowship with God. As Jesus stated in John 4:23-25:

“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;
for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.

“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

The Apostle Paul said that if we are at home in the body, or in the natural, we are absent from the Lord (see II Corinthians 5:6-9). We should be more at home in the spiritual realm than we are the natural because the “new creation” is born of the Spirit. This too is going to become a reality in what is coming. Then extraordinary miracles become common, and even the “greater works,” such as speaking to mountains and having them plucked up and moved, will be done to prove that the Word of God is true.

The true Christian life is a supernatural life, and this will be a reality in what is coming. However, that we will be seeing such miracles also means that we will be living in times when we will need those miracles. Everyone will be in either continuous awe and wonder at the great things the Lord is doing, or in continuous terror at what is happening in the world. The Apostle Paul said in Acts 14:22, “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” This is true personally and for the whole world. In every trial there is a door to the kingdom, and in the ultimate trial of the whole earth, the whole earth will enter the kingdom.

The good thing is that the tribulation will not last, but the kingdom will. For those who are staying close to the Lord, they will hardly know that they are passing through tribulations. In a prophetic experience, I was once caught up and found myself standing in front of a radar screen on a warship, with the Lord Himself standing next to me. There was a blip on the screen coming straight at us, so I called for the ship to turn 90 degrees. The ship turned, but the blip on the screen remained right in front and coming closer. I called for the ship to turn again, with the same results. I then braced for the impact, but the blip went away and nothing happened. I then asked the Lord what had happened. He said the blip on the radar screen was the great time of trouble. He said that it was coming and there was no way to avoid it, but if we stayed close to Him, we wouldn’t even feel it.

For those who are walking in their purpose, even the great tribulation will be a minor event. There will be far more attention on what Christ is doing than on what the antichrist is doing. As we read in Isaiah 60, at the very time when darkness is covering the earth, and deep darkness the people, the Lord’s glory will be rising on His people. Then, as we see in verse three, the nations will come to the glory. The light wins! We do need to know the devil’s schemes, but true security comes from knowing what Christ is doing, and uniting with Him in His purposes.

As we read in Daniel 2, at the same time all of the kingdoms of men are collapsing and becoming like dust, the kingdom of God is growing, and it will keep growing until it fills the earth. Those who are obeying His command to seek first His kingdom (see Matthew 6:33) will experience never-ending increase. Those who are seeking first the things of this world will experience increasing troubles. Every coming year this distinction will become more pronounced. It is time to put the kingdom first, above anything else that we are pursuing.

One of the most important things that we can do to be positioned to catch the wave that is coming is to come to know the gifts and ministries of the Spirit that we are called to walk in, and begin to walk in them. The Ephesians 4 mandate of all true New Testament ministry is to equip others to do the work of the ministry, not just do it ourselves. Those who do not obey this mandate will soon disappear from leadership in the church, and those who train and equip their people will be the future leaders of the body of Christ. These are the ones who are not burying the talents they’ve been entrusted with but are investing and multiplying them. We cannot accomplish what we must in these times without every part of the body doing its part.

For the last five years I have been shown many difficulties and hardships that will be coming, and to date, they have proven to be accurate. Not many wanted to hear or believe what we had to say, and I have to admit that it has not been much fun having so many hard words. Even so, all of these trials have doors to the kingdom that we must now walk through. Those who did hear the warning and prepared accordingly have done very well. The prepared will prosper in any situation. One of the most important preparations we can make for these times is simplicity of life.

Gaining or losing natural resources is not nearly as important in these times as being in the right place, equipped for our purpose. To lose everything we own is not nearly as important compared to missing the greatest of all spiritual opportunities that is coming. The most valuable thing we can accomplish in this life is to hear those greatest of words on the Judgment Day: “Well done good and faithful servant” (see Matthew 25:23). There is not a human being who would not gladly trade all that they accomplished to hear those words on that day. This is also what we must live for now. Those who do will be the happiest of all people, and that joy will not go away forever.
