A great stirring in the heart of God for this city

Last night I had a dream, where a small group of people were with Jeremy and I praying in a portable building. We were laying prostrate on the ground. The prayer felt very dry as if nothing was happening. Then Dutch Sheets swung opened the door. He was under the power fo God and had difficulty standing up. He had been crying very hard, and was blown away by what he felt when he layed on the floor in this city. I knew in the dream that he had been traveling from city to city. He said, “There is a great stirring in the heart of God for this city… something in the ground.” Jeremy and I were encouraged because our prayer had felt so dry. Jeremy joined Dutch as an intern, and they were going out to pray.

INTERPRETATION by Mike:

The city refers to where Richy was living at the time, Montgomery County, Texas. Jeremy is a reminder of the prophet Jeremiah, known for his weeping over the sins of Israel. Dutch Sheets is known as a prophetic intercessor, especially contending for issues related to governmental justice. God has a special purpose for Montgomery County. It is “in the soil”, meaning that it was planned out long ago. He will draw into the area those who are willing to cooperate with His intended purpose. Intercessors should cry out to God with weeping until He establishes His purpose in the county.

23 Minutes in Hell

From the back cover: Bill Wiese saw the searing flames of hell, felt total isolation, and experienced the putrid and rotting stench, deafening screams of agony, terrorizing demons, and finally, the strong hand of God lifting him out of the pit. “Tell them I am coming very, very soon!”

This is a very believable description of hell as experienced, not just viewed, by the author.

Although the book does not contain as much information about the many places of hell as Roger Miller’s book, it is graphic and well footnoted, making it a great gift for someone who may not be totally convinced about the reality of hell.

My Time in Heaven

The author is reported to have been dead for 8 hours when he had his first experience in heaven. Since then he claims to have been to heaven more than eighty times, accounting for much of the detail in this book.

It is great for children or for someone who does not know Christ. The book is well written, easy to read, and has a very brief account of a revelation of hell.

Reading this book should fill the reader with awe and a great longing to be in the presence of God.

Workers needed

A messenger came to our church with a call for emergency assistance. (I think the appeal went to all churches in the area.) A catastrophe had occurred and the hospitals couldn’t accommodate all the wounded. Only three from our church answered the call. I was surprised, but thought maybe our numbers had diminished or others had other areas of service God had laid on their hearts or the call was too last-minute to respond.

The airport was cleared out (looked more like an empty arena with no chairs) and doctors and support staffs were setting up gurneys and mobile equipment to accommodate the incoming. There was lots of open space with gurney operating tables all around the borders. There was some medical personnel around most of the tables, but many more were needed. I knew they were frantically preparing for the imminent arrival of the incoming wounded. Not many volunteers, I had the déjà vu sensation of the Reinhard Bonnke film where rescuers didn’t see the need to man the lifeboats.

No direction was given to the volunteers at the airport, so I was moving around the room to see where I may be needed and how to best prepare. I saw other volunteers standing around in little groups, waiting to be told what to do.

Some thoughts that crossed my mind:

• I knew very little about operating tools or procedures, and wondered if I would be more of a hindrance than actual assistance.
• I wished I had watched more hospital, war, or forensic shows so I would be more inured to the carnage I knew I would be facing. I was psyching myself and praying that I could look upon the mangled and truncated bodies with courage and grace and not get sick.
• I thought if nothing else, maybe I could be a useful go-fer or be able to pray with those and trust God to provide comfort and distraction them from their pain. (I didn’t think they had any anesthesia to give them during their operations.)

At the end, I was still uncertain how I would be able to handle the task, when several people called, “Here they come!” and we all looked toward the doors.

Then I woke up about 4:30. I was shaken and thought I would be spending the next couple of hours in prayer, but eventually I fell back asleep and dreamed the whole thing a second time.

Encouraged to prophesy

There was a bunch of women from church sitting in a small building. We were all  just chatting amongst ourselves. The next thing I know, I look up and there is a group of about 9-12 women kneeling down on the floor, facing the front of the room.

Pastor Mike was standing there, and he said, “These women are going to be with us for quite some time.” He then began to pray over them, like a blessing. (It was never said, but I somehow knew that these women were prophetesses.)

Almost as soon as Pastor Mike began to pray, he stopped. He said, “You know what, how about you (the prophetic women) pray over us instead? Tell us whatever it is the Lord puts on your hearts, specifically for this church.

One of the women immediately began to speak. She grabbed her Bible and held it up, and said, “The Lord wants you to know that it is almost impossible to step out of relationship wiuth Him when you are calling upon HIM. You have been crying out for help, and His Word says to call upon Him for help. When you do this you are walking in the will of God and you are in sync with Him.”

I got the sense that she was speaking this word to encourage us. We all seemed discouraged and very down on ourselves. The word was to comfort us, and God was saying He was with us.

While she was giving us the word, there was a woman at the end who had gotten up on her knees and was trying to speak at the same time as the other woman. It was almost like she was trying to translate for her, but the woman was speaking English. We were really trying to hear what the word was, but this other woman kept blurting things out, which brought confusion to the word being given.The woman giving the word was very focused and determined; she did not seem to be distracted by this other woman at all.

When she was done, a lot of us seemed very encouraged, but some were still very sad. There was a woman there from our church, and she just began to cry. She said, “I just can’t get past my sin.” (As if she didn’t feel forgiven, like her sins were too great for God.)

At first I thought Pastor Mike was going to tell her something like, “Now is not the time for that, let’s embrace the word just given.” Instead, he looked at the prophetess and said, “OK, now you tell her whatever it is the Lord is putting on your heart at this moment for her.”

The next thing I know I am kneeling on the floor too, next to the woman who gave the word. When I looked at the lady, struggling with accepting the Lord’s forgiveness, I am grieved. All I can do its weep. I was overwhelmed with her pain and the Lord’s love and compassion for her.

When Pastor Mike asked the woman to give this other woman a word, she turned to me and said, “You do it.” I began to weep evern more, and she looked at me and said again, “You do it.” (I had this feeling like she could see a prophetic gift inside of me, and with no words, exclaiming to me that she is no higher than I, that I could speak over the woman just as much as she could. She was pushing me into the gift God had already placed within me.)

I looked at the woman, with tears in my eyes, ready to tell her how much the Lord loved her and desired to see her set free, but every time I began to talk, that same woman from earlier began to speak too. What she was telling her had nothing to do with what I knew the Lord was putting on my heart. The woman that had given the first word stood right next to me, encouraging me to push through and continue to speak, regardless of the other woman speaking.

On both occasions, when the woman brought distraction, she was ignored. I kept wondering to myself when someone was going to say something to get her quiet, but no one ever did. She did not seem evil. She was an older lady, looked very sweet. She just had no direction, no sense of order, and not in tune with the Holy Spirit. I found it neat that the emphasis was never placed on the distractions, but rather on God’s word set to go forth.

What’s Next: the Obama Presidency

As I was praying, an angel of the Lord appeared to me. And the angel I recognized was the same angel I saw, I think in the year 2000… the chief prince angel of the United States of America. And he visited me that morning, and he told me Obama will be elected to office. I was shocked. I said, “That’s not what we want.” … Then he said, “Days of captivity are appointed for this nation, and he is the man who will carry it out.” … And I pleaded with the angel; I said, “Look, how can that be? What about all the prayers that are going on in this nation?” (Although largely the church doesn’t pray, there are pockets of people who sincerely take hold of God here and there and there.) He looked at me with, I don’t want to use the word amused look, but, the look on his face was like he didn’t believe what I was saying. He said, “You don’t know what is actually going on in the Christian tradition in this nation. They don’t actually pray, taking hold of God, but they are just playing church, playing praying. And he said, “This is the message I want you to bring to the church: days of captivity.”

… I fasted for three days. On the third day, as we were flying from New Jersey to Chicago, I was pleading and praying. In that moment I was caught in the spirit to a heavenly council. It was a long conference table. And on one end of the table I saw the patriarch Abraham, and just across him I saw Moses seated there. And I came and I sat there and I was praying and pleading on behalf of the US.

… I have been blessed by the mercies of God, to have seen these heavenly patriarchs and prophets many times in the last thirty years of my life, in the heavenly realm. And you know these patriarchs and prophets have such a spirit of humility and meekness, especially Moses, but on that day when I stood there before them, there was such a sternness on their face. Their humility, the meekness that I had known, which is the mark of their character, was not there. It was so stern. And I went on pleading and pleading and praying.

And there was a huge file before Abraham. Just like the files you all have, the office file…. And he didn’t show me what was in the file, he was just holding it, tapping it on the table. And he looked at me and he said, “No, your request cannot be granted. It has been decreed, and this is what will take place. And then he said something that’s going to come as a big shock.

I want to tell you something. Why did America vote for Obama? Two things, you know if you read USA Today. I read from cover to cover today to see why America voted for him. From the first page to the last page of the newspaper, when the journalist interviewed the people, they all said two things: one, they felt that voting for Obama will bring prosperity to the nation. The economy will turn around for good or better. Secondly, they are sick and tired of the war in Iraq, so they want the forces to be pulled out. These two can be summarized in one word, the magic mantra of Obama: change.

… My dear brothers and sisters, at this heavenly council (I have seen heavenly councils many times in the past, but that was the first time I sat with them like their equal. And I pleaded and prayed ardently till the last moment. I pleaded and pleaded for the United States of America.)

Abraham very sternly told me, “This nation will go into a recession. And they are thinking they are going to get prosperity. It’s not prosperity that will come; and then they will realize the man could not do magic. Instead of prosperity the nation will go into recession.”

And then I prayed , “What about all the Christians? What about the churches? What about the righteous people?” And this is the word of promise; he said, “We will take care of them.” The Christians will be taken care of. The churches that walk rightly and in the fear of God, they will be looked after. So all those saints of God who walk before God with a godly fear, you will be taken care of by God. Your bread, your water will be sure. It will not be shaken. Just like it says in the book of First Kings, when there was famine in all the land, God took care of Elijah and God took care of the widow of Zarephath. Even in the midst of famine, she did not withhold her giving, she gave liberally.

Now this is another mistake you don’t want to make. You don’t want to make a mistake by withholding your giving. If you withhold your giving, thinking that in the period of recession, you don’t want to lose your money, you are entering into unbelief. If you enter into unbelief, then the supernatural providence of God will not work for you. Remember the widow Zarephath. In the midst, she had nothing, just a little meal. Yet she was willing to give to a prophet of God. And you read in Genesis 26 that Isaac sowed in famine, while there was famine everywhere. The land had become hardened. There is no way you can sow in land that is so hard and breaking up. But he believed God, and he sowed in famine, and he reaped a harvest. So if you believe God, walk with God, God will take care of all your needs. Walk as if everything is normal. We don’t live by the economics of the world; we live by the economics of God. And the economics of God are mind-boggling.

… So the first message that was given to me is “days of captivity”. Now the second message is this: “days of persecution”. This is the second word the angel brought unto me.

Tell them these two things. The nation will go into captivity. The church will go into captivity, but it is for good. Out of the captivity the fire will separate the wheat from the tares. See, this is the ultimate goal that God has. See, in our limited understanding we are thinking we want a righteous man, a Christian man in office. A Christian man, of course, he will not persecute the church. He will not make a decision that will bring the church into captivity, but then the church will grow from lethargy to lethargy. She will grow from blindness to blindness. She will go on more holding up her wealth in a lustful manner. So how to purify the church? So God has to put someone in office who will make life difficult for us. And when life is made difficult for us, we will be forced to bend our knees and cry out to God….

Vision of the Destruction of America

As I stood atop the Empire State Building, I could see the Statue of Liberty, illuminating the gateway to the new world. Here, spread before me like an animated map, is an area 60 or 80 miles in diameter. I was amazed that the Spirit of the Lord should so move me, there atop the Empire State building. Why should I feel such a surge of His Spirit and power there?

Giant Telescope

Suddenly I heard the voice of the Lord. It was as clear and as distinct as a voice could be. It seemed to come from the very midst of the giant telescope; but when I looked at the telescope, I knew it hadn’t come from there, but directly from Heaven. The voice said, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly; therefore, from henceforth thou shalt have wars.” Immediately when I heard the voice of God, I knew this was a quotation of scripture [2 Chronicles 16:9]; but never before had a thing come to me so forcibly by the power of the Spirit.

Automatic Clock

The ticking of the telescope stopped. The man before me had used up his dime’s worth. As he stepped away, I knew that I was next. As I stepped to the telescope and dropped in my dime, immediately the ticking started again. This ticking was an automatic clock which would allow me to use the telescope for a limited time only. As I swung the telescope to the north, suddenly the Spirit of God came upon me in a way that I had never thought of before. Seemingly, in the Spirit I was entirely caught away. I knew that the telescope itself had nothing to do with the distance which I was suddenly enabled to see, for I seemed to see things far beyond the range of the telescope, even on a bright, clear day. It was simply that God had chosen this time to reveal these things to me, for as I looked through the telescope, it was not Manhattan Island that I saw, but a far larger view.

North American Continent

That morning much of the view was impaired by fog; but suddenly as the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, the fog seemed to clear until it seemed that I could see for thousands of miles, but that which I was looking upon was not Manhattan Island. It was all of the North American continent spread out before me as a map is spread upon a table. It was not the East River and the Hudson River that I saw on either side, but the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans; and instead of the Statue of Liberty standing there in the bay on her small island, I saw her standing far out in the Gulf of Mexico. She was between me and the United States. I suddenly realized that the telescope had nothing to do with what I was seeing but that it was a vision coming directly from God; and to prove this to myself, I took my eyes away from the telescope so that I was no longer looking through the lens, but the same scene remained before me.

Great Cities

There, clear and distinct, lay all the North American continent with all its great cities. To the north lay the Great Lakes. Far to the northeast was New York City. I could see Seattle and Portland far to the northwest. Down the west coast there were San Francisco and Los Angeles. Closer in the foreground lay New Orleans at the center of the Gulf Coast area. I could see the great towering ranges of the Rocky Mountains and trace with my eye the Continental Divide. All this and more I could see spread out before me as a great map upon a table.

Gigantic Hand

As I looked, suddenly from the sky I saw a giant hand reach down. That gigantic hand was reaching out toward the Statue of Liberty. In a moment her gleaming torch was torn from her hand, and in it instead was placed a cup; and I saw protruding from that great cup a giant sword, shining as if a great light had been turned upon its glistening edge. Never before had I seen such a sharp, glistening, dangerous sword. It seemed to threaten all the world. As the great cup was placed in the hand of the Statue of Liberty, I heard these words, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, drink you and be drunken and spew and fall and rise no more because of the sword which I will send.” As I heard these words, I recognized them as a quotation from Jeremiah 25:27. I was amazed to hear the Statue of Liberty speak out in reply, “I WILL NOT DRINK!” Then as the voice of the thunder, I heard again the voice of the Lord saying, “You shall certainly drink” (Jeremiah 25:28). Then suddenly the giant hand forced the cup to the lips of the Statue of Liberty, and she became powerless to defend herself. The mighty hand of God forced her to drink every drop from the cup. As she drank the bitter dregs, these were the words that I heard: “Should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the Lord of hosts” (Jeremiah 27:29)

War, Death, and Destruction

When the cup was withdrawn from the lips of the Statute of Liberty, I noticed the sword was missing from the cup, which could mean but one thing. THE CONTENTS OF THE CUP HAD BEEN COMPLETELY CONSUMED! I knew that the sword merely typified war, death, and destruction, which is no doubt on the way. Then as one drunken on too much wine, I saw the Statue of Liberty become unsteady on her feet and begin to stagger and to lose her balance. I saw her splashing in the gulf, trying to regain her balance. I saw her stagger again and again and fall to her knees. As I saw her desperate attempts to regain her balance and rise to her feet again, my heart was moved as never before with compassion for her struggles; but as she staggered there in the gulf, once again I heard these words: “Drink you and be drunken and spew and fall and rise no more because of the sword which I will send among you” (Jeremiah 25:37).

As I watched, I wondered if the Statue of Liberty would ever be able to regain her feet, if she would ever stand again; and as I watched, it seemed that with all her power she struggled to rise and finally staggered to her feet again and stood there swaying drunkenly. I felt sure that at any moment she would fall again, possibly never to rise. I seemed overwhelmed with a desire to reach out my hand to keep her head above water, for I knew that if she ever fell again, she would drown there in the gulf. “Thou shalt not be afraid for the by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day, nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday” (Psalms 91:5-6).

Black Cloud Rising

Then as I watched, another amazing thing was taking place. Far to the northwest, just out over Alaska, a huge, black cloud was arising. As it rose, it was as black as night. It seemed to be in the shape of a man’s head. As it continued to arise, I observed two light spots in the black cloud. It rose further, and a gaping hole appeared. I could see that the black cloud was taking the shape of a skull, for now the huge, white, gaping mouth was plainly visible. Finally, the head was complete. Then the shoulders began to appear; and on either side, long, black arms.

Skeleton Destroys Multitudes

It seemed that what I saw was the entire North American continent, spread out like a map upon a table with this terrible skeleton-formed cloud arising from behind the table. It rose steadily until the form was visible down to the waist. At the waist the skeleton seemed to bend toward the United States, stretching forth a hand toward the east and one toward the west, one toward New York and one toward Seattle. As the awful form stretched forward, I could see that its entire attention seemed to be focused upon the United States, overlooking Canada at least for the time being. As I saw the horrible black cloud in the form of a skeleton bending toward America, bending from the waist over, reaching down toward Chicago and out toward both coasts, I knew its one interest was to destroy the multitudes.

Mortal Agony

As I watched in horror, the great black cloud stopped just above the Great Lakes region and turned its face toward New York City. Then out of the horrible, great gaping mouth began to appear wisps of white vapor which looked like smoke, as a cigarette smoker would blow puffs of smoke from his mouth. These whitish vapors were being blown toward New York City. The smoke began to spread until it had covered all the eastern part of the United States. Then the skeleton turned to the west and out of the horrible mouth and nostrils came another great puff of white smoke. This time it was blown in the direction of the west coast. In a few moments’ time the entire West Coast and Los Angeles area were covered with its vapors.

Then toward the center came a third great puff. As I watched, St. Louis and Kansas City were enveloped in its white vapors. Then on they came toward New Orleans. Then on they swept until they reached the Statue of Liberty where she stood staggering drunkenly in the blue waters of the gulf. As the white vapors began to spread around the head of the statue, she took in but one gasping breath and then began to cough as though to rid her lungs of the horrible vapors she had inhaled. One could readily discern by the coughing that those white vapors had seared her lungs. What were these white vapors? Could they signify bacteriological warfare or nerve gas that could destroy multitudes of people in a few moments’ time? Then I heard the voice of God as He spoke again: “Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty and makes it waste and turns it upside-down and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her ; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied and utterly spoiled, for the LORD has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fates away. The world languishes and fates away. The haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant; therefore, has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men left” (Isaiah 24:1-6)

As I watched, the coughing grew worse. It sounded like a person about to cough out his lungs. The Statue of Liberty was moaning and groaning. She was in mortal agony. The pain must have been terrific, as again and again she tried to clear her lungs of those horrible white vapors. I watched her there in the gulf as she staggered, clutching her lungs and her breast with her hands. Then she fell to her knees. In a moment she gave one final cough, made a last desperate effort to rise from her knees, and then fell face forward into the waters of the gulf and lay still as . Tears ran down my face as I realized that she was ! Only the lapping of the waves, splashing over her body which was partly under the water and partly out of the water, broke the stillness.

“A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is as the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness, yea, and nothing shall escape them”. Screaming of Sirens Suddenly the silence was shattered by the screaming of sirens. The sirens seemed to scream, “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!”

Never before had I heard such shrill, screaming sirens. They seemed to be everywhere to the north, the south, the east, and the west. There seemed to be multitudes of sirens; and as I looked, I saw people everywhere running, but it seemed none of them ran more than a few paces, and then they fell. And even as I had seen the Statue of Liberty struggling to regain her poise and balance and finally falling for the last time to die on her face, I now saw millions of people falling in the streets, on the sidewalks, struggling. I heard their screams for mercy and help. I heard their horrible coughing as though their lungs had been seared with fire. I heard the moanings and groanings of the doomed and the dying. As I watched, a few finally reached shelters, but only a few ever got to the shelters.

Above the moaning and the groaning of the dying multitudes, I heard these words: “A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth, for the Lord has a controversy with the nations. He will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, says the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth, and the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground” (Jeremiah 25:31-33).

Rocket Missile Attacks

Then suddenly I saw from the Atlantic and from the Pacific and out of the Gulf rocket-like objects that seemed to come up like fish leaping out of the water. High into the air they leaped, each headed in a different direction, but every one toward the United States. On the ground the sirens screamed louder, and up from the ground I saw similar rockets beginning to ascend. To me these appeared to be interceptor rockets although they arose from different points all over the United States; however, none of them seemed to be successful in intercepting the rockets that had risen from the ocean on every side. These rockets finally reached their maximum height, slowly turned over and fell back toward the earth in defeat. Then suddenly the rockets which had leaped out of the oceans like fish all exploded at once. The explosion was ear-splitting. The next thing which I saw was a huge ball of fire. The only thing I have ever seen which resembled the thing I saw in my vision was the picture of the explosion of the H-bomb somewhere in the South Pacific. In my vision it was so real that I seemed to feel a searing heat from it.

Widespread Desolation

As the vision spread before my eyes and I viewed the widespread desolation brought about by the terrific explosions, I could not help thinking, While the defenders of our nation have quibbled over what means of defense to use and neglected the only true means of defense faith and dependence upon the true and living God the thing which she greatly feared has come unto her! How true it has proven in Psalms 127:1: Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.”

Then as the noise of battle subsided, to my ears came this quotation: “Blow the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord comes, for it is nigh at hand. A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains, a great people and a strong, there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is as the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness, yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained; all faces shall gather blackness. They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war, and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks. Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path; and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall; they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble; the sun and the moon shall be dark,, and the stars shall withdraw their shining” (Joel 2:1-10).

The Silence of

Then the voice was still. The earth, too was silent with the silence of . Then to my ears came another sound a sound of distant singing. It was the sweetest music I had ever heard. There was joyful shouting and sounds of happy laughter. Immediately I knew it was the rejoicing of the saints of God. I looked, and there, high in the heavens, above the smoke and poisonous gases, above the noise of the battle, I saw a huge mountain. It seemed to be of solid rock, and I knew at once that this was the Mountain of the Lord. The sounds of music and rejoicing were coming from a cleft high up in the side of the rock mountain.

Hidden in the Cleft

It was the saints of God who were doing the rejoicing. It was God’s own people who were singing and dancing and shouting with joy, safe from all the harm which had come upon the earth, for they were hidden away in the cleft of the rock. There in the cleft they were shut in, protected by a great, giant hand which reached out of the heavens and which was none other than the hand of God, shutting them in until the storm be over passed.

The Vision of Five Angels

I came to the Island of Patmos on May 5, 1998. For several weeks, alone in a house, I was struggling to live by myself, and try to cook and do other things around the house. I tried to eat as little as possible. I spent my time in prayer and fasting. I found a little chapel next door, where nobody goes, called St. Nicola Chapel. I went there pouring my heart to God. On a hill next to the house I found a marvelous rock. I went often and sat on that rock, prayed, meditated, and read the Bible. Several times I went to the cave of John, where he saw the great revelation.

While meditating for one month in this solitary place, I thought, “I wonder if the Lord will ever send a tenth angel?” I had seen angels nine times before — In England; in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. I had seen an angel in Amman, Jordan, in Jerusalem. Another angel with his message had delivered a woman from being hanged in Upper Egypt. I saw the last angel, the ninth, in Beirut, in the midst of the war. The angel awakened me physically, 3:00 o’clock in the morning. He told me to get out of the country immediately. I am grateful to the Lord until today. I don’t know what would have happened to me if the angel had not come. Heaven will tell that one day. So here in Patmos I thought, I wonder if I would see an angel for the tenth time. There were times when I was alone in the house praying, I felt such presence, I wondered and asked the Lord if an angel was coming now. But it was not to be. One night I dreamt about an angel. It was tremendous. An angel told me to just fly in my dream. I felt is it possible? But an angel was telling me. I was on a high cliff and I really let go and was flying in the most beautiful way. I came down and landed just like having a parachute, peacefully. But that was a dream. That was not real. I wanted to see an angel, like the nine times before.

20th of June, 1998. 3:50 a.m., here in Patmos, suddenly my room was full of light. There are not lights around here. The house sits by itself at the end of a road, near a monastery. Of course, I wondered what this bright light was. And lo and behold, as I was wide awake, this was not a dream, I saw five beautiful angels. I saw their faces, perfect. Looking like human beings, but full of light. I saw their eyes, their face. Their hair was so beautiful. On my right side, there were two lovely angels. When I looked at the others, trembling, suddenly I saw the other three had wings. I had been asked many times, if the angels I had seen before had wings. I had decided the next time I would see an angel, I was going to ask the angel, if he had wings. Everybody was asking me. Other times when I had seen angels, I was so scared and trembling, I did not have the nerve to ask them if they had wings. Now I saw the three angels on my left side with wings, and the two on my right without wings. They all had hands. They had beautiful white robes all the way down to the floor. Very hard to describe with human words. I wondered why five angels had come. I was trembling, shaking. I wanted to cry, I couldn’t. The place was full of light. Suddenly the angel on my right side, the first one said, “We are five angels, from the five Continents.”

Just before I could see the tremendous revelations of the angels, in the Spirit, I was in a great meeting where a great multitude of people were present. They were God’s children, from many nationalities. I was on a platform, standing behind the pulpit. I was preaching in English. I had an interpreter on my left side. He had dark hair, gray suit. But I couldn’t remember to what language he was interpreting my message. I was prophesying. This was the prophecy:

• “My church, you preach love, teach love, but you need to practice love, and to show love.
• There is need of unity in my body, there are many divisions among you.
• My Spirit will not move and work where there is no unity.
• There is carnality in my church. Too much uncleanness in my church.
• I desire and want holy people.
• I died to make you holy.”

While prophesying, I’m trembling, I’m lost in the Spirit. My eyes are opened. I’m looking to the great multitude.

Suddenly I saw these five powerful, mighty, shining angels, totally in white, come towards me. I began to go backwards from the pulpit about three, four meters. I was going to fall down. I didn’t know what to do. I was wide awake, but in the spirit. Some power helped me not to fall.

As I was wondering what all this was, the angel on the right said, “We are here to give you messages of the five continents of the world.” The moment I heard that I could hear the multitude, the crowd, thousands of them, saying, “Oh, Oh, Oh…” I believe the multitude saw the angels also. And somehow the Lord revealed to me that the time is coming in many parts of the world where God is going to reveal Himself through the ministry of angels. It’s going to happen publicly, in churches. Thousands will see angels at one time. The Lord is witnessing that. Angels will be ministering to the Body, in these last days.

Suddenly the message started to come, “What you see and hear, tell it to the nations.” This was not something I should keep to myself. Even they accept it or not, I have to tell it to the nations.

The first angel, the farthest from me and to the right, said, “I have a message for all of Asia.” The moment he said that, in a split few seconds, I could see the whole of China, India; the whole of the Asian countries, like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, North Korea, South Korea. I’ve never been to those countries.

I could see the Philippines and Japan. Down to Singapore, I saw Malaysia, and Indonesia. Then the angel showed me all of Papua New Guinea, and the whole of Iryan Jaya, Indonesia, and down to Australia and New Zealand. This was the message of the angel, to all that part of Asia, including Australia and New Zealand.

“I am the angel of China,” he said, “India, Australia.” In his hand I saw a tremendous trumpet, not a small one, but a long big one. He was going to blow it all over Asia. So whatever the angel said, it’s going to happen with the trumpet of the Lord, all over Asia. Millions are going to hear the mighty voice of the Lord. Then the angel said, “There shall be disasters, starvation, many will die from hunger. Strong winds will be loosened like never happened. A great part will be shaken and destroyed. Earthquakes all over will take place. The sea will cover the earth. The earth will fall in the sea. Great part of Australia will be shaken. Australia will be divided, destroyed. Great part will go under the ocean. Millions will die in China and in India. Nations will be against nations, brother against brother. Asians will fight each other. Nuclear weapons shall be used killing millions.” I heard the word ‘catastrophic’ used twice. “Financial crisis will come all over Asia. It will shake the world.” I was trembling while the angel was speaking.

Then he looked at me and smiled and said, “There shall be the greatest spiritual awakening. Bondages will be broken. Barriers will be removed. Millions in China, India, all over Asia will turn to Christ. In Australia there shall be tremendous revival.” Then I heard the angel of Asia say, “It is the last harvest.” I could hear the Spirit say, “I shall prepare my church for the return of Christ.”

The second angel had a sickle in his hand. I heard him say, “Harvest time has come in Israel, and all the countries all the way to Iran, all of Turkey and the Arab countries. Multitudes that have refused me, refused my message of love shall hate each other, shall kill one another, shall be destroyed.” I saw the angel raise the sickle and come down on all of the Middle East countries.

In few seconds I saw the whole of Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Iraq, I was happy with the last few sentences of good news, after such judgment.

Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, and all of Asia Minor full of blood. I saw blood all over these countries. I saw fire, nuclear weapons used in many of those countries. Smoke rising from everywhere. Sudden destruction and men will destroy one another. I heard, “Israel, oh Israel, the great judgment has come.”

The angel said, “The chosen, the church, the remnant shall be purified. The Spirit of God shall prepare the children of God.” I saw fires and smoke rising to heaven. The angel said, “This is the final judgment. My church will be purified, protected and ready for the final day. Man will die from thirst. Water shall be scarce all over the Middle East. Rivers shall dry. Man will fight for water in the Middle East countries.” I saw the United Nations shall be broken to pieces because of the crisis in the Middle East. There shall be no more United Nations.

The angel with the sickle shall reap the harvest. In the presence of almighty God and what the angels were talking to me I was shivering, trembling. I wanted to cry, but I was not able to. I was so much lost to see what was happening.

I really was fascinated. I couldn’t have the courage to ask the third angel, who had wings, to open his wings. Suddenly this third angel opened his wings. I saw him fly over my room and in the spirit showed me the whole of Europe. I saw Europe from one end to the other. All the way from the North down to Spain and Portugal. He had a scale in his hand — a scale of measurement.

Whatever the meaning, the Lord will give it to us. I heard clearly the angel say, “I am grieved. I am grieved. I see unrighteousness, uncleanness, ungodliness all over Europe. Sin has risen to heaven. The Holy Spirit is grieved.” I saw the rivers of Europe flooding, covering millions of houses. Millions drowned. Suddenly I heard Earthquakes all over Europe. Countries that had no earthquakes before shall be shaken. Suddenly I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris crumbling, falling down. Great part of Germany destroyed. Great city of London, destruction everywhere. I saw floods all over Scandinavia. I looked to the south of Europe. I saw Spain and Portugal passing through great hunger and great disasters. Many will die from hunger.

I cried and said, “Lord, what about your children?” The angel said, “I shall prepare them. They shall be looking for the appearing of the Lord. Many will cry to me those days and I will save them. I shall perform mighty miracles for them and show them my power.”

Then I saw the fourth angel fly all over Africa from Cairo to Cape Town. The angel of Africa had a sword in his hand. I heard him say, “Innocent blood has been shed. Divisions amongst the people. Generation far from the Lord. Thousands of people have killed each other. I’ve seen my faithful children in Africa. I shall reward all the faithful. I shall bless them abundantly.

I shall control the weather — such scorching, burning of the sun. Other parts flooding. Foundations shall be shaken, rivers shall dry, millions will die from starvations. My sword shall judge the unrighteous and the bloodthirsty. So many earthquakes shall happen. Rivers will flow in different directions.

Flooding of many villages.” God’s Judgment shall do it. I saw great pieces from stars falling from the sky upon Africa. The trembling of the earth shall be tremendous. Never happened since the creation. None shall escape the sword of the Lord.

I saw the Nile River drying, fishes dead, stinking all over Egypt. Great part of the middle of Africa shall be covered with water, millions drowned. “Lord,” I said, “It is all bad news, all destruction. Any good news?” The Lord said, “The final day has come. Judgment day is here. My love has been refused, now my anger has come.” I trembled. I was shaking. I thought I can’t bear it any more.

Then I saw the last angel flew over America, north and south, from the North Pole to the South Pole. From Canada all the way to Argentina; from the east of the USA, New York, till the West, California.
I saw in his hand a big bowl, a deep cup full of judgment. The angel said he would pour from this bowl upon north and south America.

The angel said, “No justice any more, no righteousness, no holiness, but idolatry, materialism, drunkenness, bondage of sin, killing of innocent blood, families broken, adulterous generation. Sodom and Gomorra is here. The days of Noah are here. False preachers, false prophets, refusing of my love, imitation of religion, having the form of godliness but denying the power.” I begged the angel, “Can you not wait for a little while. Don’t pour it. Give a chance for repentance.” The angel said, “Many times God has spared and has spoken, but they have not listened. His patience has come to an end. Now the time has come. They have loved money and pleasure more than me.”

As the angel began to pour from the bowl, I saw the great icy mountains melt in the north. Flooding came all over Canada and North America. All the rivers flooded, destruction everywhere. The world market collapsing with mighty earthquakes in New York. The skyscrapers tumbling, millions dying, ships in oceans sinking, explosions I heard from all over the north of the country, and millions dying.

The Angel was pouring judgment on Mexico and all of Central America. Flooding of the countries, two oceans joining together, the Atlantic and the Pacific. Great part of north Brazil covered with water, the Amazon River turning to a great sea, forests destroyed and flooded, major cities in Brazil destroyed, earthquakes in many places. As the angel poured judgment all the way to the South, to Chili and Argentina, great destruction took place, like never before.

The whole world was shaking. “In a short time,” I heard the angel say, “this is going to happen.” Then I saw the five angels surrounding the globe, the world, lifting their wings and their hands towards heaven and saying, “All glory to the Lord of heaven and the earth.

Now the time has come and He will glorify His Son. The earth shall be burnt and destroyed. All things shall pass away. The new earth shall come. God shall destroy the works of the devil forever. New heaven and new earth shall come. I will show my power, how I will protect my children in the midst of all these destructions. Be ready for the day of the Lord has come.”

My room was full of light from the brightness of the angels. Then suddenly they ascended up to heaven. As I looked up I saw the angels go in five different directions. I knew they had already started their duties.

For more than an hour I could not move. I was wide awake. I was not sleeping. I was trembling from time to time. Then I said, “Lord, shall I leave Patmos now?” “No,” said the Lord, “I have brought you for a purpose.” “I’m in your hands Lord,” I said, “Let thy will be done. Lord, the messages from the angels all over the world is not good news. It is judgment, punishment, destruction, and devastation. What would people say about me? I have always been a preacher of love, peace and good news.”

The angel said, “It is our message. You are the instrument, the channel. What a privilege God has chosen you, to use you to give His message.” Then I answered, “Thy will be done.”

Still I lay there motionless. I was lost in thoughts. I did not know what to do. I was in the presence of such holiness of God. I wanted to cry but I couldn’t. There’s no way to weep. I could not laugh, impossible. I was just committed to the mighty will of God. For three days I did not leave the house. I was praying, fasting, and seeking the mind of God in order to write everything down in the Spirit After much meditation, I was able to write all that God’s Spirit brought to my remembrance.

Undoubtedly this was a highlight in my life. To God be the glory. Amen. Samuel Doctorian

A Huge Pot of Liquid

I thought long and hard about sending this message. I have a ministry that has been devoted to uplifting, encouraging and edifying God’s hurting people. I like people to know that no matter what is going on in your life God is still in control. He has a glorious plan for your life to give you hope and a future. I believe that more than ever these days we need to keep that in mind! We have no need to fear, because our God is in control. He knows what is happening and what is going to happen because He has always known from before the beginning of time.

Having said that I know that those of you who know me well and have followed my ministry know that occasionally God gives me prophetic dreams and visions. I got one three days prior to 911 and I got one within three days of the Minneapolis bridge collapse, several years ago. It had been frustrating to me for God to let me see these, and other things , in advance. I prayed and asked God the following “Why let me know these things Father if I can do nothing to stop them?” After much fasting and praying God spoke to me one day, a few years ago, the following “So that when these things happen, your heart will not grow faint. You will realize, without a shadow of a doubt that nothing catches Me unaware. You will know that I am in control and you , and the ones you share these things with, will rest in peace with that knowledge.”

Last night I had a very vivid vision. I was standing in front of a huge pot of liquid, in this vision. The pot was simmering nicely. As I looked I saw a huge hand reaching down and grasping “things” and tossing them into the pot. The hand reached down and grasped a scroll called banks, and threw it in the pot. The hand reached down and grasped a scroll called automobiles and threw it in the pot. The liquid in the pot started to rise and boil slightly. Then the hand grasped a scroll called mortgages and threw it in, then a scroll called jobs, and then one called HINI and the liquid started to boil a bit harder, then a scroll called Iraq, then Afghanistan. The hand grabbed one scroll named Earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, tsunami’s and hurricanes. Finally I watched as the hand grasped one called Iran and then one called Israel. It was then that the pot started to boil harder and harder.

I could see that the pot was going to boil over and splash everywhere in a huge mess and I went to look for the heat control to turn it off. I couldn’t find the knob. I became frantic to stop it and I couldn’t. I started to grab a towel to clean up the mess and I heard the voice of God speak the following “It’s to late to stop the boiling over, it’s too late to clean up the mess.” I then begin to cry and asked God “What can I do, what should I do, and who should I tell.” I heard God say to me the following “Tell people to make sure that they are where they should be with me, tell them to get rid of anything immediately that is not of me. I have never been closer to the door then I am tonight. Tell them not to fear what they will see and hear for I am in the midst of my believers. I will show them where do go and what to do. I have surrounded them with my messengers.” The vision began to fade and I said to Him “When, Lord?” I received no answer, but in my mind I heard the words “Be still and know that I am God.”

I prayed about this message and sending it out. I don’t want to frighten anyone. I do want to say to you ,as you read this tonight, make sure before your heads hit the pillow tonight that if you have anything you are not giving to him…GIVE IT UP. Repent from secret sins and make sure tonight and every night that you are where you know, that you know, God means for you to be! If you need to ask someone for forgiveness, and you can do it, pick up the phone and ask them for forgiveness. If someone has hurt you , needlessly, to the point your heart is breaking, pray for them and for you to forgive them. There has never been a more urgent time to get things right!

I feel the time is coming very, very soon when we will all be gathered together with Him. We will share a meal at the “marriage feast of the Bridegroom.” Until then, whatever happens “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD.”

The Season of Change… Angelic Change

I was in worship calling in the Presence of GOD, “I needed a fresh touch,” when instantly I was swept away with the Love of God.

This Love was so strong. In my heart I knew not what was happening at the time. Then I knew  in my inner man. I sensed the Presence speaking to me: “Spring time! It’s Spring time!” And I heard The Lord say, “Spring up a well of joy and expectancy! Guess what? I have sent help…  to fill the earth with the Wonders of the Father. I have sent help.”

Then I was taken by the Spirit, where I do not know. I saw myself standing near a pathway of ancient stone steps, well worn and trodden. The stone steps were wide and deep. They had become smooth, and the walls had been rubbed till they shined from the many who have walked this ancient path.

There  I was in awe. Yet coming from behind me was an army of angelic movement. I just knew it. It was in my spirit to know… Spirit to spirit.

My eyes drifted once again to the steps. I saw the  angels descending in vast numbers down these ancient steps.

I head the voice of one calling from above, “Go touch the earth; minister to my people.” That voice sounded like a river and thunder. My being was shaking under the resonating sound.

My eyes were fixed on the sight  when I saw something else. I saw an angel, huge in proportion, walking up the steps. He had huge wings. He was gray in color, the color of the earth. As he was nearing the crest of the steps, I saw a bright light illuminate from above, and the angel became golden and beautiful. I heard the sound of great rejoicing from above. The angel’s mission had been completed here in the  below, and now others were being dispatched in it’s place.

The changing of an Angelic guard had begun.

Fast forwarding now to another  time and place, while in the kitchen of my home chatting with  a dear one, suddenly we were in the Spirit, and again I was seeing the steps. This time the steps were brighter. I felt more comfortable now.

Descending from the steps were five angels sent here in the below TO HELP the People of GOD!

The First one had wings filled with gold and silver. The Lord prompted me to know this was a prosperity angel.

Psalm 68:13 Even while you sleep among the campfires, the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver, its feathers with shining gold.

The Lord spoke clearly, “I am releasing “Prosperity” to my people for such a time as this. My people  will become creative, making witty inventions, and the arts will explode over the earth, causing an influx of financial gain.”

The Second Angel came down  the stone steps He was carrying an ancient manuscript. This angel was called “Harken” to the word of the Lord.

Psalm 103 :20 Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.

I saw this angel move swiftly like fire to bring fresh revelation on the word of the Lord as it was being preached. I heard the Lord say “REVELATION is coming fast, very fast. I am exciting my people with FRESH revelation. The word will bring many to me and will stabilize households. Ministries will grow in faith! The word will have the Fresh Breath of my Spirit upon it and many will be saved by the preaching of the word.”

The third angel was carrying stalk of wheat. This was a “Harvesting“ angel.

Matthew 13:39b The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

These angels will prompt the eye gate to LOOK onto the harvest and see the fields.

John 4:35b behold, I say unto you, “Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

I knew the Spirit was speaking to me with this one: “The harvest is plentiful the workers are few.”

The Almighty One is sending Help to get the work done! The Lord spoke to me and said, “LOOK and SEE; LISTEN and DO! I have begun to ignite the hearts of men for revival.” “Get ready,” said the Lord, “I Am making a way for the harvest. Prepare for the Harvest.”

Then I saw the shafts of wheat again and realized something about wheat. If it’s not harvested when its ready, the season can abruptly change and it could  fall to the ground (if a storm comes) and may not recover. I saw this angel standing in the fields, assigned to protect the crop.

The  fourth angel was “Mighty”. He had a huge horn in his hand. This angel was sent to Proclaim to the Nations the Glory of God (Tangible Presence).

Pouring out of the bowel of his horn were words ”The Good News of Signs, Wonders, Miracles, Healings, Deliverances and GREAT HOPE”. This Angel was called Michael (not to be confused with the great Archangel).

Luke 2:15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

I heard the Lord say to me, “GOOD NEWS! GOOD NEWS! I am bringing good news to my people and to those who are afar off. Get ready for a new sound of Joy!”

The fifth angel was almost transparent, beautiful yet very powerful. It’s armor was made of very fine material that could cut through anything .

This angel is assigned to make ways of “Escape” from death, battles, and imprisonments. This angel knows the ways of the King; he is from the Throne Room. He is assigned to direct people into the inner courts of those in high offices and expand territories for the “Presence of the King”.

Acts 12:7 Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists.

I then heard this from the Lord: ”I will have me a People! I will send help! I will provide. I will give supernatural strategies! I will open the flood gates of heavens and pour out blessings from above and from the below.” “I have sent help,” says the Lord.

Then I heard this very clearly: “Pray in the Holy Spirit. Build UP YOUR faith.” (Jude)

As I watched these angels come into the below, I knew a change was taking place. GREAT CHANGE has taken place! Then I  was reminded of two Scriptures that have prompted me to realize we must be ready.

Peter realized a supernatural act had taken place.

Acts 12:11 Peter finally came to his senses. “It’s really true!” he said. “The Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me!”

Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

Let us Pray:

O Lord Keep my way pure. O Lord do not let ANYTHING pass by me. I accept your help; I am trusting your Spirit to help me do what I must be willing to do. O God, YOU have set me ablaze with new vision and renewed purpose. Help my faith when I have none. Grant wisdom to grow and be one used of you. In Jesus’ name I ask. Amen.

What an hour!

I found myself this morning wrapped in God’s glory and then suddenly taken into the Spirit. It all began with the sound of shattering glass – a loud sound, as though many windows were imploding all at once. Then the Spirit of the Lord said, “Kristallnacht!” Immediately, I was overcome by Him and lifted into His presence.

I then saw a slave running as fast as he could through a driveway. He hoped to get to a back alley so that he could escape his pursuer. The slave was not African American; he was a teenage Caucasian American.

My focus was then drawn away to Generals rising up over all the land. Again, the glory of the Lord swept down over me, and I heard a voice cry, “Generals of the Lord, arise! Arise, O Mighty Ones!” As before, I was overwhelmed by the Spirit of the Lord, and entered into the deep groaning and weeping of the Lord over the Generals that needed to come forth throughout the land. Those that I saw were the “Five-Star Generals” speckled about throughout the nation. They were handsomely dressed, with stars and bars of authority on their uniforms.

Then I saw my teenage granddaughter, and again I fell into weeping and travail as I heard a voice cry to her, calling her by name, “… you must arise and lead your generation. You must become the very flame of the Lord.” The Spirit enraptured me in ways too wonderful to tell. I saw her look toward the voice and tremble under the Spirit of the Lord while waiting for her orders.

My vision then broadened, and I saw perhaps millions of teenagers just like my precious granddaughter. They rose and formed an army of living flames unto the Lord throughout the world. I knew that the words spoken to my granddaughter were meant for many of them. Some had been in church all their precious lives. Some had grown up in the ghettos and on the streets. Some were students in high schools and colleges who had given their lives to scholarly achievement, but had been touched by God to do great things in the Kingdom. I saw some who were great intellectuals, others who would become great writers and thinkers in the faith, steering the destiny of many while they were still young. Some had been beaten and abused in their homes, and still others had grown up with great Christian parents. Their past testimony made no difference; it was what God awakened them to do now that mattered. The flames of the Lord that would make up a great army of fire were today’s youth and young adults. I was amazed and weeping so deeply that I could hardly bear any more revelation.

Then I heard trumpets blast and heard the Words, This is the hour of Joel 2!  Then the voice began to recite Joel 2 as follows.

1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like; neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. 3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth:

Immediately my spirit was enlarged, and I saw two visions of armies simultaneously (I cannot explain how a person can experience such a thing, yet it happened to me). There was an army, great and terrible. It was made up of enemy soldiers preparing to invade our nation. At the same moment I saw another army rising to answer the call. It was the army of the youth, consumed in flames of fire until it looked like a field ablaze. The youth were blazing across the nation and the world. They did not seem to care what the difficulties were that they might meet; they were the army of the Lord arising to the call of their Commander in Chief, Jesus Christ. They were in love with Him and yearning to serve Him at any cost. They were mighty and terrible because they had become the flame of the Lord. The enemy feared them, for they were unstoppable.

Joel 2 continues:

4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. 7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. 10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

These youth had become like mighty war horses accustom to battle, unafraid and determined to please their Captain – the Captain of the Host. Devils paled before these warriors, as they were anointed and relentless. They were young, but mighty! They had in their hearts not a human desire for fame and fortune, but a vision that burned within their very bosom. They would overtake cities for Him, schools and college campuses. They were young and energetic, and they were His!

As they went forth, signs and wonders began to fill the heavens. For they were mighty that executed God’s word.

The other army would come with stealth and power, but they were darkness and gloom and the Kingdom of darkness would yet yield to the Kingdom of light and the saints will reign with Him forever and ever.

Kristallnacht

Back to the beginning… I heard shattering glass and the word, “Kristallnacht,” which means “Crystal Night.” It is forever known in Germany as the Night of Broken Glass, when the windows of the synagogues and Jewish colleges were broken, Jewish buildings were ransacked, and sacred literature was confiscated and burned. I was given to understand that this time, not only would the same occur against the Jewish people, but also against Christians, their churches, and their Christian universities.

The war against the truth is going to happen, but the army of the Lord will not be stopped. Persecution will arise, but the army will move forward nevertheless. Truth will be their banner and love will be their covering.  His Name will be greatly glorified in the earth.

The Obsequious Ones

In my dream I was lying on my bed with my head at the foot of the bed on the side closest to the door. The door was open. My husband was lying next to me, but he was asleep. I opened my eyes. The Lord was kneeling at my bedside to my left. His head slightly bowed. He was dressed in a blue robe, and He wore something white underneath. His head was covered with a turban that was attached to the robe. The material appeared to be terry cloth. His complexion was dark, and His expression was serious. When I looked at Him he began to tell me that a time of testing was coming upon the earth. He told me that the obsequious ones would escape or be preserved and those who were not would not. I asked Him to confirm what He had just told me. He asked me how I wanted Him to confirm it. I then told Him, “By two kisses.” He walked away from me to where He was out of sight, and as I lay there I felt two light impressions just to the left of my mouth and I reached up to touch that spot. I also recall at that moment becoming aware of the ease that I felt with Him. He came back and stood over my bed looking down at me but saying nothing. I awoke with my hand on the place where He kissed me.

Afterwards, I was going about my daily business and periodically I would feel the kisses as a reminder, and when I did I would reach up to touch the place where He had kissed me. I thought that I needed to tell someone, but I couldn’t tell just anyone. I decided I needed to tell Mike Walsh because he would understand. After deciding that, I felt the two kisses again.

The Jubilee Anointing

God is getting ready to do something extraordinary in the Body of Christ! He is in the process of preparing Himself a body of believers—His purified Bride—to present her to the world. He has been preparing a leadership for many years to guide His Bride in the steps that she must take to become all she can be to this world. Heretofore, however, we the Body of Christ have walked so far below where we are called to walk.

Once, while in prayer, the Lord came to me. Feeling very courageous, I asked Him:, “Lord, what is the one thing that hurts your heart more than anything else?” I thought He might say it was all the people who are dying and going to hell. We have all these images in our mind of what God might say if we were to ask Him critical questions like this. He shocked me with His answer. “The one thing that hurts Me more than anything else,” He said, “ is the fact that My Church has never entered into full stature as depicted in Ephesians 4:12-13”:

His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints, (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the Church). [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.

These priceless words of Scripture, revealed through the apostle Paul, depict the process of coming into the full measure of the stature of the Son of God.

The thing that brings the Lord the most sorrow is that His Church has never come into the full stature of walking in the completeness that is found in Christ. In other words, it is the failure of His Body to come into the full stature that made Christ—the Son of Man—who He is in God. Of course we will never be God. however, in Christ’s own union with the Father as perfect man we find the picture of our ultimate calling. We are to walk in that same fullness of mature sonship in which we radiate the virtues of Christ, emanating the very life of God Himself. In that place we exhibit the life of God because we have died to the world, to ourselves, and to our flesh. Christ lives His life through us. The thing that has hurt our Lord the most is that the Body has never come into this place of stature .

I can remember a time, about twenty five years ago, when Jesus appeared to me while I was in prayer. Suddenly before me stood the Lord. He showed me in a vision a great gulf fixed between where we as the Church walked and where we were called to walk as sons of God. This gulf seemed to be the size of the Grand Canyon. We were on one side of this canyon. God’s purpose and plan was on the other. Between us was this huge canyon. When I realized where we were and where we were supposed to be, I cried out to Him in desperation. Finally, He said to me, “With God, nothing is impossible.” Despite the pain we as a Body who have never come into the full stature has caused Him, He is not angry with us. It hurts Him badly, though. He’s hurt because He wants so much for us, yet has to settle for so little. I was feeling very depressed, as you can imagine. I was in need of encouragement. So I said, “Lord, what is the one thing that brings you the greatest joy?” He looked at me, smiling radiantly, “The Jubilee Anointing as depicted in Isaiah 61.”

THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion –to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit — that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. (Is. 61:1-3, Amplified)

The Jubilee Anointing which is to come fills the Lord with unbridled exuberance: I’m going to pour this out of my Church. I am going to do for her what she cannot do on her own. We are so far away from where He wants us. He has a plan and the power to bring us into the full stature of mature sonship through the Jubilee Anointing and this is going to bring Him the greatest joy.

[It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not [ministers] of a letter (of a legally written code) but of the Spirit; for the code [of the Law] kills, but the [Holy] Spirit makes alive. Now if the dispensation of death engraved in letters on stone [the ministration of the Law], was inaugurated with such glory and splendor that the Israelites were not able to look steadfastly at the face of Moses because of its brilliance, [a glory] that was to fade and pass away, Why should not the dispensation of the Spirit [this spiritual ministry whose task it is to cause men to obtain and be governed by the Holy Spirit] be attended with much greater and more splendid glory? For if the service that condemns [the ministration of doom] had glory, how infinitely more abounding in splendor and glory must be the service that makes righteous [the ministry that produces and fosters righteous living and right standing with God]! Indeed, in view of this fact, what once had splendor [the glory of the law in the face of Moses] has come to have no splendor at all, because of the overwhelming glory that exceeds and excels it [the glory of the Gospel in the face of Jesus Christ]. For if that which was but passing and fading away came with splendor, how much more must that which remains and is permanent abide in glory and splendor! Since we have such [glorious] hope (such joyful and confident expectation), we speak very freely and openly and fearlessly. Nor [do we act] like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze upon the finish of the vanishing [splendor which has been put upon it]. (II Corinthians 3:6-13, Amplified)

Think about what this passage says and what you have read and learned in the Word about what occurred during the giving of the Law on Sinai. Angels were atop the mountain, and they looked like flames of fire to all of Israel. The thundering voice of God could be heard. The sound of trumpets was bursting forth. The mountain was shaking and trembling under the glory of the Father and the glory shone from the face of Moses. It shone so brilliantly. It did not just shine, it flashed. The glory emanating from the shining face of Moses radiated with such magnificence, and so abundantly, that the flashing glory covered his entire being. The glory of God was being manifested in the face of a man.

Picture yourself standing at the bottom of Mount Sinai. Now imagine seeing the fire of God resting on the mountain and hearing the angels and the thundering voice of God. Couple that with the intensity of the mountain shaking under His glory and the trumpets blasting. Then you see Moses coming down from the mountain. This is a man everyone knows—a mere man, albeit a great leader—but now he is clothed in the magnificent flashing glory and splendor of God. You have never seen such an utterly astonishing sight. This experience is so amazing you don’t know whether to stand, bow, or fall down on your face. You simply do not know what to do.

You see, as God thundered the Law into the hearts of the people, His words came down from atop the mountain and the spirit of His words engulfed each person who was standing at the foot of the mountain. The words of God entered into their hearts, into their souls, so transforming them that they were thrust into the highest dimensions of spiritual reality. . What a display of the magnificence of God took place that day. The nation called by God was taken into such a deep spiritual realm that they could see clearly the kingdom of God. As the revelation began to dissipate, however, the people fell back down to their natural, carnal understanding of things. However, all Israel did experience a deep spiritual experience at the bottom of the mountain as God was thundering His Law into their hearts. The only one who didn’t come down from that experience was Moses. His countenance continued to shine with splendo r, and it reminded Israel of what could also be theirs permanently. Simply awesome—imagine standing at the bottom of the mountain beholding and experiencing all of that!

The Bible says that the dispensation of grace must be accompanied by a glory and splendor greater than that shown at Mount Sinai. It must be, because time cannot end until that is fulfilled. We have yet to see this glory, this splendor, here on earth. It is not recorded in the Bible nor is it recorded in history; yet, here we are—and I don’t see anyone, including myself, radiating this splendor. It will be accompanied with a greater glory than took place so many millenniums before. The millions standing at the foot of the mountain back then had such a spiritual experience that they were lifted up—body, soul and spirit—into an experience of the reality of the coming Kingdom of God.

Imagine coming into a church service and seeing a minister speak with words so full of the power and splendor of God. Because he walks in the transcendent glory himself, every word he speaks carries the power to cause a translation, a transfiguration, to take place inside of you. The Bible says that a greater glory than what occurred that day at the foot of the mountain must be realized in this dispensation. I hear people, even prophets, say that the dispensation of the Church is over. But it is not over until the word of the Lord comes to pass. This is a glorious word about the Church that is going to display the magnanimity, majesty, splendor, glory, and wisdom of God. The world is going to be left shaking and trembling under the revelation of the Kingdom that it sees through the Church.

Something is happening inside of me, even now. There is a glory coming so great you are not going to know what to do with it. It is coming, and it will transform you into something you never thought you could be. It is going to be so great that the world is going to have to admit that Jesus Christ truly is God! Because I see it in His Church, all of the negativity is going to be stripped from your mind—the fears and the anxieties, all the foreboding and guilt, all the times you should have and didn’t and all the things you did, when you shouldn’t have. It is all going to be stripped away and in its place is going to be the faith, love, glory, righteousness, holiness, justice, and splendor of God. Not only is it transforming you, but it is moving out like ripples into the world touching and transforming any who will. The glory and the splendor must transcend the days of Moses, and we have yet to see it.

The time is coming when the Church will no longer be concerned about the house they live in or the car they drive, about whether or not someone down the street thinks that they’re valuable because they live in the same economic bracket. These things are no longer going to matter. I can promise you, pinned under the weight of the glory at the bottom of that mountain, the Israelites were not worrying over Jacob, Joel, or Jonas, sandwiched among the multitudes around them, being garbed in finer tunics or numbered among the more famous tribes of the sons of Israel. The millions at the scene, one and all alike, were not worried about such things. The only thing that mattered at that moment in time was their hearing the glorious, thundering voice of God that was transforming their very being. They suddenly realized that the world wasn’t what they thought it was nor the destination of their destiny where they thought they were headed. The things they thought were so important in Egypt all of a sudden carried no weight in that one glorious moment. They lost their luster in the light of what was happening inside them. And O to think that the glory that is coming—the splendor all transcendent—is going to be far greater than what has ever been seen!

Many fear that it could come and they might miss it. The truth is all they really need to do is get in the way of the River with a heart that is willing to let go of, and give up, all that the River wants of you. It is critical that we let go of the things which hinder: the need to be important, the need to be famous, the need to keep up with the Jones’s, and the need to surround oneself with material things. We need to let go of the need to have our own way—even our rights and privileges as our own person. Now that sounds pretty dramatic. But you will understand when Jesus comes in to dwell and live His life through you to the point that He owns you the way you were created to be possessed. It’s not about you any more—it’s about Him, which is how it was supposed to be all along. That was the plan for Adam, but he forgot. For one brief tragic moment, it became more about Eve than about the One who created him. And from that point on, the sin of rebellion and betrayal has ever remained with us. Doesn’t the whole of history attest to that?

But there is a people who God is calling back to the pre-fall state, where they would be walking in the same kind of glory that Adam, Eve, Moses, and Enoch walked in. He’s calling His Church to rise up and come higher and He’s going to provide the anointing for it to happen. Now, of course, Jesus had publicly revealed that He was walking in the Jubilee anointing, though He did not specifically call it by that name. As He rolled up the scroll of the prophet Isaiah, having just read the passage in 61:1-2, he added, “Today the Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing” (Luke 4:21). We, however, have yet to experience what He was walking in then. But we are reminded that He also said, “Greater things than I do, shall ye do” (John 14:12). So we know that there is something so great that even the Son of God stood in awe of it and yet, although promised for these last days, has not co me to fulfillment. People want to take that Jubilee anointing and wrap it around healing. But, honestly, that is the least important function of it. That anointing is going to transform your souls when it comes; it is going to make you what you can’t be without it; it’s going to make you what you were created to be. Your call is to let everything go that could hinder your flow in the River, because that River is coming. And I’m going to tell you where it’s going to start—right here in New Orleans!

When I say in New Orleans, I’m not necessarily saying that the first transfigured person is going to come from out of here. Nor am I saying that it couldn’t be so. What I am saying is, God is going to start the move of His glory in New Orleans. He’s going to do it and it will go from glory to glory in ever-increasing power and majesty. But it is going to start here. There is an awakening that has been assigned to this city and no other city can have it first. It has to start in New Orleans. Why? Because, for whatever reason, God has decreed it. That is not to say that revival will not break out in other places. However, this great move of which I now speak will begin here. My dear brothers and sisters, the day is coming when we must lay down the flesh if we’re going to ride in the glorious River and stay afloat. We must put down the flesh and, while doing so, we’ve got to throw th e world away, because the weight of that is heavier than the flesh. The day is coming, and it is here. The Lord is calling us to go the next step higher in this life. He has called us to walk in the Spirit, closer to Him, in all His ways.

We fight Him though, for it is extremely hard to humble ourselves under the discipline of God. We don’t realize that God is trying to squeeze us like grapes to get that old wine out so He can put the new wine in. My brothers and sisters, this new wine is so glorious—the fragrance, aroma, and color is so glorious—that it is worth all the squeezing to get the old wine out so there is room for the new. You really want it no matter how much you may resist and fight it. You want it and need it to walk with the Son of God. He is setting that table before you; anyone who is willing to pay the price can walk with the Father like the Son of Man walked with Him. This dispensation cannot end until it has moved into the glory exceeding the days of Moses. It must come to pass because it is in the Word, and it has to be fulfilled because it was spoken from the mouth of God.

Where will you be? Are you going to stand to the side dipping your toe in the River, afraid of the frigidity? Are you going to stand there and say, “Well…, umm…, those people look kind of crazy dipping around in all that glory… it is not coming the way I thought it would… they are just kind of humble and act a bit too holy… I mean they walk around like a bunch of people emptied of self… I don’t know if I want to go into that River.” Is that where you’re going to be?

Please jump into the River even if it is over your head. Please dive right in. Take note, you will not be able to—if you do not begin preparing today. The fear of dying will stand between you and the River. It will make you stay on the side of the River looking at all that glory. Dying? How? Dying to the flesh and to the world, on the cross. The fear of dying can be overwhelming because the River is so new and the present so familiar. Leaving the present to go into the new, especially when you know you have to cross over death to get there, is extremely frightening. Yet that was what Israel had to do—cross over the Jordan River, an action that could result in instant fatality, and which therefore aptly symbolizes the dying to self. They had to cross the river and they were frightened by it. But they had been taken through enough of the discipline of the Lord that they overcame their fear. They went into the Jordan because they knew that was the only way into the Promise Land.

We must be willing to die to self and the reward is a glory that is greater than in the days of Moses. What can be greater than what the Bible tells about the days of Moses?—the utterly incomparable transfigured life no less! Jesus took three men up to the mountain and was transfigured before them because He wanted mortal man to know what he was called to. He wanted all humanity to grasp the immense reality of their calling to become much more than they knew they could be! It was critical that human eyes see the transfigured state of the Lord Jesus Christ so we would know where we are headed.

He makes us more than we can be. To be sure, not everyone will walk around with the glowing light of His glory, though there will be some that will. Nevertheless, those not called to emanate the light in that transfigured state, but who do in fact walk in the transfigured state, will emanate the virtues of Christ. In the eyes of God, and all of heaven, they will be as beautiful as those who are walking in the manifested glorious light.

The Church will come to walk in such humility that to see one who has been transfigured will be like seeing the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. All the beauty of the virtues of Christ will be evident in the lives that are being transfigured. These will not don two-thousand dollar suits nor dangle fifty-thousand dollar rings from their fingers, nor will they palanquin themselves in expensive automobiles. They will simply not live an extravagant life-style. If they do, you will know immediately they are not one of “them,” because no one who walks close to Jesus will do that. You will know them because they will stay humble in the eyes of man. You look at them and you will think… Well, she looks rather ordinary. And so she is—along with all the other transfigured ones. No one will be able to fault them in their lowliness, however, for the beauty of Christ will emanate from them. They will walk in power and authority because of the glory of His virtues in them. Christ will be living His life out through them and they will walk in His authority as the Son of God. And for these who walk in the authority of the Son, nothing will be impossible. They will have overcome the devil, the flesh, and the world. Further, many will have overcome even death itself.

Can you believe all this? Do you have the faith for it? If you don’t, you need to get into the Book (The Bible) and prayer and get the faith for it, because it’s coming in our lifetime. The glory of God is going to visit His Church and, through His Church, He is going to visit the world. The world has to have the demonstration, and they have to see the revelation of Christ, for by it they will be judged whether they are worthy of the Kingdom or not. But in these last days, because the darkness will be so intense, God is going to bring forth the light and intensity that has never been seen before—He must, for the sake of His Church and for the sake of the lost. The Church must go up because she has gone down so far. In humility, the Church will go up. When she starts to walk so deep in love, all distinctions will vanish and the light of the glory of Jesus Christ will reign supreme. In the glorified Church, no one is going to care about your nationality, race, denomination, or beliefs. Your heart is going to be so filled with the Gospel and everything you are and everything you say and do is going to reveal the Gospel through you! This must be. He cannot close the pages of time until this transpires. But you must prepare for it. It’s not going to sweep over you by accident. You must prepare for dying today, being willing to let go of that ugly pride. Every chance you have to either humble or lift yourself up, you must make the choice, carefully, remembering that the meek of the earth will be the glorified ones.

I think the most incredible thing that the Bible says about Moses is not that the glory emanated from his face but the fact that this once-upon-a-time haughty prince of Egypt became the meekest man on the face of the earth. He walked with God and God walked with Him. Because Christ lived in him, he was consumed and possessed by the living God. He was no longer his own nor did he desire his own will. Thus he stayed with the Jewish community for forty years, tolerating their infighting, grumbling, complaining, and murmuring. He might have been broken by it all, but he was so meek, and he loved Israel so much he offered up his very life and moreover, his very soul if he must, lest God would give up on His people. No doubt his journey to the perfection of his soul took some time. Hence Moses is not known by the forty years he spent in the palace, but by the forty years he spent in the desert getting prepared to wa lk with God.

It is not a crime to suffer for the sake of the Gospel. It is actually an honor to be diminished— especially when the Church and the world are looking on—because God is preparing you and cutting away all that flesh that you may be increased in God. Do not worry if people do not like what they see you are going through. That is okay. You are not thinking about today, you are thinking about the days that are coming, when this flesh He is carving away is going to be wrapped in His glory. In a very short time, the glory is going to flow and it can flow through you! In a very short time you can know the Father like Jesus did. The world may not understand, but the call is not to worry about those things. The call is to come and die that He might live and be glorified. The call; that you might be glorified and live in what He is going to do and become a vital part of what He is doing. Forget those things which are behind, forget them like Paul said, and press on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ. That is what we are called to do and the way in which we are called to walk. Sufficient is the evil for today. We are not supposed to carry yesterday on our shoulders nor are we to carry tomorrow. We are to carry one thing and one thing only—and that’s the glory of the living God.

So, my dear friends, rise up out of the past, present, and flesh. Rise up and seek God because He’s coming. In times past, the Spirit of the Lord kept speaking to Israel… A deliverer is coming… Egypt is being very tough on your flesh right now… that’s okay, because the deliverer is coming, and he is going to free you from the bondages of Egypt… the deliverer is coming… get ready and don’t wait. The Spirit of the Lord kept saying these things through the prophets… Don’t worry about all of this, but get your eyes focused because your Father is about to do something… the deliverer is coming. And when he finally came, in the person of Moses, what did Israel say? “Who sent you?” They were not ready, were they? The deliverer stood right before their faces and they were saying: “Why should we believe you? What do you have that we do not have? What makes you so important?” So God had to show them, through the deliverer and his spokesman, the signs and wonders. These were the very people that the Spirit of the Lord had been trying to prepare for over four hundred years for the coming of the deliverer they had been asking for. It sounds somewhat like what happened with Jesus. He was out healing and raising people from the dead, and the leaders of the people were standing back, saying, “Show us a sign.” Casting the demons from the demoniacs, opening blind eyes and deaf ears, limbs suddenly appearing wherever they were needed—yet they still said, “Show us a sign.”

It’s amazing how the people of God are so rarely ready for God’s promised deliverer. Yet God even now is getting ready to send the Deliverer of all nations, peoples, tongues, and tribes to His people living in the twenty-first century. He is preparing to bring them out of spiritual Egypt and into the glory of the Promised Land of glorious transfiguration. How many are ready? Get ready! Get into the Word. Read, study, and believe it! Don’t read it and say, “Well I don’t know about that,” like so many theologians do today. Read it, study it, believe it, and obey it. That last item is the big one—obey. Pray to God that He will give you the grace to believe, the wisdom to prepare and be changed, so that you will be ready for the River when it comes and be able to walk in the transfigured state. Pray: “Lord, I want to die that You might live in me!” Now, that wi ll get His head turned! When He is walking down a path in Heaven and hears those prayers He will immediately turn around and see where they are coming from—for He wants badly to dispatch His angels to help those willing to enter into the place that He has created for them. I’m telling you the truth: I’ve not only seen it, I’ve experienced it. I know what I’m talking about. I’m telling you what I’ve heard, what I’ve lived, and what I’ve known and personally experienced.

Vision of the black sheet

The following experience is related by Mike McClung, Director of the IHOP-Knoxville.

I was awakened on October 9, 2009 at 2:16 AM. When I awoke, I was horrified to find there was no trace of God’s presence to be sensed anywhere. It was a horrible and frightful feeling, one that I had only had one other time in my life, 26 years ago. 26 years ago I had an experience where I was taken to hell. The darkness that I encountered in that place was like a literal substance that was so thick that I could feel it touching me. In that previous experience, I heard the screams and cries of those who had been assigned to that God-forsaken place because of their rejection of God’s provision of salvation through His Son. There was no trace of God’s presence in that place. This current experience did not have that same substantive darkness or cries of those in torment, but it did have the same feeling of the abject absence of God’s presence.

In this later experience, I was completely alone. Desperation swept over me and I began to cry out to the Lord…but, again, silence. I began to plead with the Lord to tell me what I had done, or let me know what was happening. Silence. There was a vast void of stark emptiness and…silence. About an hour into this experience, continuing to pray and cry out to the Lord, I had an open vision. In this vision, I saw what appeared to be a black blanket or sheet float down and settle over the nation. The desperation I felt escalated again! I knew that once this darkness settled, there was no hope of escape. I prayed a little longer with no change, so I finally got showered and went to the IHOP-Knoxville to pray and seek the Lord.

I kept praying in tongues and in English for the next two hours, and around 6AM, the Lord began to finally speak to me about what was happening. More understanding came as the day unfolded. In as much as I can remember, I will relate what the Lord began to reveal in chronological order.

The time, 2:16 AM was a scriptural address, as it usually is when things like this happen to me. It was Isaiah 21:6, which says, ‘For thus has the Lord said to me: Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.’ I knew this meant that I was supposed send this as a call to the body of Christ to stand as an intercessory watchman to whoever would answer. The scripture the Lord gave me to help explain the vision was Isaiah 60. Isaiah 60:1-3 says, Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

The Lord said that Isaiah 60 was being put into motion all over our nation. His judgment had come in the form of removing His restraining grace from our nation and allowing darkness to invade, and that darkness would invade every section and sphere. There was no way out of this. At the beginning, this looked and felt hopeless until the Lord began declaring to me His purposes in allowing this to happen. According to the scripture, the end purpose of this is to see a massive harvest come forth.

The Lord warned me not to pray to get out of this, because He would not hear prayers to “escape.” He said the purpose in this happening was to move the bride of Christ forward in His process to bring the glory of the Lord out of the corporate body. The first part of Isaiah 60 is what should be focused on – the glory rising – and we should remove all distractions and hindrances from focusing on seeing His glory arise. “Christ IN you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27) is the only hope our nation now has. Only the people of God who will align themselves with His presence and purposes will have the tools, strategy and weapons to overcome the darkness now settling on our nation. The glory of the Lord is arising in His remnant church! This is a very sober time to get our lives free of everything that defiles of flesh and spirit (2 Cor. 7:1), to be effective against the darkness that’s now coming. There will be those who “know their God, become strong (obtain power), and do exploits (take action)” as it states in Daniel 11:32b.

The Lord spoke the same thing to me that I heard our good friend Paul Keith Davis related in a spiritual experience he had some time back. The Lord said, “Someone better get authority with Me quickly!” When I heard that, the fear of the Lord overwhelmed me and I could hardly do anything else the rest of the day except cry out for God to judge my heart and life to reveal anything hindering Him operating through me and His people.

Although this might sound hopeless, it is not. The Lord can do in one day what we might think would take 1000 years! If we cooperate with Him, we can and will become the place of refuge, light, power and provision the Lord has destined His bride to be. The Lord began to reveal some specific prayer and practical strategies that will be necessary as this darkness encroaches into all areas of our society. These strategies are enumerated here:

* Prayer itself must undergo and change. We can no longer just cry out for God to have mercy on our nation. We must cry out for God’s original purposes for this nation to be returned to and fulfilled. When Moses interceded with God on behalf of Israel, it was God’s reputation and purposes, along with His love, that Moses stood in the gap and declared. Just asking God to have mercy is no longer good enough, because we now have a society in which the majority loves sin more that they love God, which also, sadly, includes much of the church. It was the declaration of remembering God’s reputation and God’s original purposes that turned the wrath of the Lord away through Moses’ intercession.

* Instead of only praying directly for our leaders, many of whom are being led solely by unrighteous motives and/or unrighteous counsel, we need to pray for those vessels God has prepared for this day and hour to be set in specific places of authority, favor and influence. Neither Daniel nor Joseph were the “head guy.” This was not God’s will. But they were in a position to speak with supernatural insight, wisdom and grace into the lives of those who were in positions of authority. We need to pray for God to turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness (2Sam. 15:31). This means we need to be praying for God to make the counsel of those in places of authority worthless, and for God to replace them with those who will speak God’s counsel. The Lord will back this up with supernatural signs and wonders as He did in the past!

* Pray for a sweeping reformation to come to the body of Christ in this nation. We must have revival and reformation. The glory must come, but there must also be scriptural training come to the body of Christ. The “meeting mentality” must die. We must go from just inspirational, encouragement meetings to have a mind of training to “stand in the day of battle” (Ezek. 13:5). This will mean a fundamental change in the way people, especially leaders, perceive “church.” The kingdom must be the focus and not just having good meetings to entertain the crowds and keep their tithes!

* A fundamental change must come in eschatological frameworks. We must go from and escape mentality to an occupy mentality. We must begin to train and equip the saints to overcome and invade the culture and occupy until He comes. Most people are caught up with the question of “when” as it relates to the end times, but that’s not the correct question. “When” is not for us, as the Lord said Himself. It is the WHY that we need to be concerned with, because until the specific scriptural conditions are met, He will not return! He deserves a bride without spot or wrinkle, not one who’s weak, defeated, given to sin and idolatry. When the bride “makes herself ready,” then we can look for Him to soon return.

* We need to be praying and seeking the Lord for supernatural power, strategy and grace to deal with disasters and demonic attacks that are coming. Just like Joseph, He will give us strategies to not only provide for ourselves and our families, but to have answers that will turn entire nations to seek the Lord from Mt. Zion (Isaiah 2, Isaiah 4, etc.). I believe this will include trusting the Lord for supernatural provision, but I also believe, being a Boy Scout in my earlier years, that we need to “Be Prepared” practically. I am already praying for the Lord to bring financial provision to do such things as convert much of the electrical power in our home and ministry facilities with solar and other innovative sources.

* We must seek the Lord to be given understanding of “angelic protocol.” This means we will learn what it means to co-labor with the Lord of hosts, the God of armies. The angelic realm moves on commission of His word (Psalm 103:20-21). This means that the forces of God are marshaled where the two companies (the Mahanaim – see Gen. 32:1-2 and Song 6:13), the company of God’s angelic forces and the company of God’s human army, are working together under His lordship. This is what we see in 2 Kings 6 where Elisha prays for his servant’s eyes to be opened to see the angelic army surrounding them, waiting to fight on their behalf, as they move in obedience to the Lord’s direction. Greater engagement of the spiritual realm is coming to where we will not only see what the Lord is doing, but the Lord will also allow us to see what the enemy is plotting in order to cut the plans off with God’s strategy. This will truly be one small part of a living testimony of His glory to the nations.

* The Lord will begin to convene counsels over cities and regions that He will work with to reveal and release strategic initiatives that will shake demonic structures, but which will also build and plant the kingdom of God. Some of these are already operating and will begin to have spiritual downloads and angelic interchange that will cause breakthrough in existing structures, turning them to righteous purposes putting His glory on display.

This will be the best of times and the worst of times. This will be our finest hour as the saints of God are positioned to release kingdom power and authority that will rise in us and in our midst like a shining light that will beckon to the nations. This will come to those who seek the Lord with all their heart (Jer. 29:13) – those who have an intimate, uncompromising relationship with the Lord and are unwavering in the carrying out of His purposes.

The power of a resurrected life

A supernatural encounter reported by Neville Johnson in his e-mail newsletter, September 16, 2009

Recently I had trouble sleeping because the pull on my spirit was strong I found myself slipping back and forth between two realms so I decided to get up.

“You cannot truly live until you have truly died and precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints!“

I turned to look to see who was speaking. A man I had become somewhat familiar with was speaking. This man who walked with God in the dawn of the human race and was taken or translated looked intently at me, seeking a response which did not come. He continued, “You cannot experience the power of a resurrection life until you have died. You are learning how to walk in the realm of the Kingdom while still on this earth and your spirit is becoming the predominant person in your earthly life. Your soul is becoming subservient to your spirit. This is good. Jesus said if two or three of you agree as touching anything you shall have what you agree on. This is not just two or three people, but your soul and spirit must agree. Your mind, emotions and will must agree.“

My mind began to play back the Scriptures.

(Matthew 18:19-20) Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

I had never seen these scriptures this way before. It was as if the Holy Spirit was peeling back another layer of these Scriptures. Enoch looked at me intently again waiting for a response from me. I finally said, “So this unity of spirit and soul is what allows my spirit to soar in the heavenlies.”

“Yes it is your soul, or your mind, will, and emotions that hinder or free you to walk in this realm, and when your body also agrees, you will begin to experience what your generation so quaintly calls ‘Philip’s Transport’.”

Truth and understanding began to wash over me like a river, it was as if my heart and mind was being cleansed from unbelief in a way that I had not experienced before. The very presence of this man released a wave of cleansing and faith that was not of this earthly realm, and I was slowly unraveling as I began to reach an overload of understanding.

“What you are feeling is a limitation; your capacity to receive understanding is still somewhat limited.“

I knew what Enoch was saying was true; it felt like I had reached a point where my mind could not keep up. This is hard to convey but it was a definite limitation, again I felt this sensation of washing and my mind again became clearer. I felt an enlargement had taken place within me, my capacity to walk in this realm has been somewhat expanded. Scriptures again flooded my mind.

(2 Corinthians 6:11-13) Oh ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. Now for a recompense in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

(2 Corinthains 10:15) Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly

Enoch continued, “You have come to understand that you must walk with the attitudes, values, and emotions of heaven, and how that your mind emotions and speech must lose the power to hurt, and how that heaven must come first in your heart. This is good and important, all that Adam walked in and more must be restored, and the Lord will have one generation that will walk with the Lord as I walked with the Lord. This has been available to anyone in any generation, but there is a special grace a special enabling for this generation to walk in it for as the scriptures say,

(Isaiah 59:19) So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

God will raise up a new standard of righteousness and this new standard will put the enemy to flight. Evil has increased in your day just as it did in the days of Noah, but the Lord will raise up a new standard of truth and righteousness that will enable you to overcome the increasing darkness. A greater standard of righteousness is required of this generation in order for them to walk with the Lord in light. This generation must understand and learn to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. This secret place, the Most Holy Place, is within you. Your spirit can live, dwell and soar in this place. It is the place of eternity.

(Isaiah 57:15) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite one

Does not the scriptures say…

(Ecclesiastes3:11 NIV) He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men;

You must teach my army how to dwell then walk in this place.“

Slowly I became aware of my office again as one world faded into another.

An Army of Fire

For the past two and a half months, Jonathan Sanderson has been having the following recurring dream once, and sometimes twice, a week:

I am standing at the front of the congregation as I do with Mike and Sandra on a typical Sunday morning. We are worshiping our Father, and I look around to each and every person in the sanctuary. I can see into their chests, only to see their hearts set ablaze in various states of flame. Some are these great flames are flickering and snapping at their hearts, and others are mere ambers or coals. But to my relief they all have some activity.

We continue to worship and praise our Father in amazing fashion. As we are singing with all our might, we consecutively hear a loud explosion of sorts, or more like a commotion, coming from the parking lot. The music stops… time stands still, it seems, as we all look about. People begin rushing to the glass doors. As we look out to the parking lot there are no longer any vehicles, but instead, before us stand a battalion of flaming pillars of men. They all stand erect and in formation like an army of fire.

Just as we are all taking this sight in, we hear from around the room the screams and agony of some who fall to the ground and writhe in pain on the floors as the once present flame in their hearts is extinguished and they die, turning to no more than saggy canvas on broken frames. Some turn to ash as the fire within burns out and disappears. 

A third of the congregation suffers this fate, while some of the others have a much different result. Instead of the fire within them flickering out or wasting away, the fire rises up and overflows from their hearts. As they are consumed in fire, they resemble those who await us outside.

Although I see that they are not in pain, the sight of the fire amazes and startles me. I feel a fear of burning. As I watch this unfold, I come to realize that I too am being swallowed in flame.

(For weeks I would awake in a cold sweat and full of fear. It was only after the first day of the End Times class that I was able to accept this. Since this understanding has taken place I have completed the dream and have come to see that the flame does not hurt at all but provides more strength than I know how to put into words. It calms and yet gives purpose.)

Now a towering figure of fire, I open the doors with the others and take my place within the moving mass of flames. We set out for another destination I know not of.

Mike’s interpretation:

John the Baptist said there would come One after him who would baptize us with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matt 3:11). In the Bible, fire speaks of purification (Isaiah 6:6-7), judgment (Malachi 4:1), holiness (Ex. 3:2), intense love (Song 8:6), and zeal for God (John 5:35).

For many years we and many others have been praying that the Holy Spirit would fill us with the fire of His holiness, burning away the dross of a divided heart and forging within us hearts of undistracted devotion.

This dream illustrates what it might look like when God visits a church with revival fire. Those who have not taken the time to prepare themselves will not be able to endure Him coming in this way (Joel 2:11; Malachi 3:2). However, those who have prepared themselves have nothing to fear. For them it will be an unspeakably glorious experience, equipping each one to be part of the exceedingly powerful army of God.

When a person has the same dream two or three times, it is often an indication that the dream is from the Lord. Amazingly, Jonathan continues to have this dream once or twice a week.

Such a recurring dream from the Lord is rare and highly significant, indicating that He really wants us to understand the dream and let the truth of it sink deeply in our souls. He doesn’t want us to be awed by the dream and then forget about what we heard, but to meditate upon what we have heard.

None of us can escape the responsibility of preparing for what is coming, crying out to God to do this wonderful work in the earth, and interceding for others so that they are not consumed when it comes (Exodus 24:17; Deut. 4:24; 9:3; Isaiah 29:6; 30:27, 30; Isaiah 33:14; Heb. 12:29).

The Coming Perfect Storm

When I first wrote it, little did I know the events that were soon to happen concerning Todd Bentley, the Gulf Hurricanes, Russia’s invasion of Georgia, the trains that would collide near Los Angeles, Sarah Palin’s nomination and the stir that would cause, or September 15’s Stock Market plunge. All of these are early elements of what the Lord called “The Coming Perfect Storm.”

THE COMING PERFECT STORM

For those of you who have followed this ministry, you have heard me say more than once during the past eight years that from 2009 or 2010, things will become very difficult. I have been praying and hoping that what I am about to write may be averted. However, I am now concerned that without prophetic people speaking up, we will not play our redemptive part in bringing change for the good.

FIVE ELEMENTS OF THE BREWING PERFECT STORM
As in the movie The Perfect Storm, the storm I see coming to the United States is a combination of more than one element, and when the elements unite, the storm becomes exponentially more dangerous. However, unlike the movie, this storm is not just a storm of merging weather patterns. This storm is worse; it involves five different elements: religion, politics, economics, war and geo-physical events.

At times these five elements will be so intertwined that it will be difficult, if not impossible, to distinguish which events are driving a particular manifestation of the storm. Massive problems in these five areas will come often, or in combination, and sometimes repeatedly. Each element has potentially several events that will have national and international ripple effects. Some ripples will be worse than others, depending on where you live and how you make your living. Different areas of the United States will experience different severities. Some will experience more economic elements, others more geo-physical elements; some will experience all elements. Remember, it is the combination and the rapidity that will make the storm problematic.

Also, this does not mean all five elements will hit at the most devastating levels. For example, on a scale of 1–10 with 10 being the worst, one element may strike at a six while another strikes at an eight. It is the particular combinations of elements — the proximity of each element as well as the intensity of each element — that will make this storm so difficult and seem to last so long. This storm will not be short-lived; it will come in waves, one after another.

WHY IS THE STORM COMING?
This storm is coming because the Church (the Body of Christ) is no longer the backbone of this nation. From our inception, the Christian faith has been the plumb line of decisions made at all levels of life. The Christian founding of this nation is what makes it different from every other nation, other than perhaps Israel. Other nations may have become Christian in their focus, but none were initially formed with Christianity as the core of its DNA.

The Church is to make known God’s manifold wisdom to the world and the powers of the air (Ephesians 2:2). This demonstration to the heavens is not accomplished by speaking to those powers but through righteous living. How we live opens or closes doors for Satan to legally afflict us and even rule over us via leaders who do not know the ways of God. From Adam and Eve through today, the actions of humankind have given room for the enemy to strike and attack us. The only legal way the enemy has access to us is when the hand of God lifts from us, resulting in a space between Him and us. This space increases as we distance ourselves from Him and His ways.

Anytime there is an increased distance between God and humanity, it leaves room for attack to come and for principalities and powers of the air (rulers of darkness) to take up residence. The longer dark powers reside over an area, the more the people begin to call right wrong and wrong right. Here in the United States, leaders arise from the people; in other words, as the people believe and think, so do the leaders who rise from their ranks. Eventually, the lines between right and wrong, as well as the holy and profane, become blurred. The way to God through Jesus and the Cross is no longer seen as an absolute. In fact, absolutes become touted as “intolerance” first in the world and then even within the Church. Yes, there are exceptions to this thinking within the Church, but through compromise, the absolutes of Heaven and eternity are clearly evaporating.

GOD CAN FASHION A DISASTER
We are living in the days of Ezekiel and Jeremiah, who prophesied that God can bring disaster on a nation if that nation continually chooses to walk according to its own plans. God spoke this to Jeremiah:

“The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.

“Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.”’”

And they said, “… We will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.” — Jeremiah 18:7–12

WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT ARE COMING?
What are some of the things/consequences that will come? In time, water will be more expensive than oil, and cities will evacuate thousands because there is not enough water to meet their needs. (As Amos 4:7 says, “I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city.”) Earthquakes will strike not only coastal areas but devastate the Midwest as well. Israel will bomb Iran, and anti-Semitism will escalate as fuel costs soar. A dirty bomb will explode in a coastal city. There will be thunderstorms with huge hail, 24 inches of rain in 24 hours, three feet of snow in six hours, record-setting tornadoes with winds of more than 350 miles per hour and tornadoes in unusual places. There will be an unexpected blight that will hit various hybrid seed crops and weaken the yield. In addition, drought and devastation from storms will dramatically cut into various harvests and the national food storage will deplete.

“Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.”’” — Jeremiah 18:11

FOUR THINGS THE CHURCH MUST DO
First, the Church must return to knowing God and His ways rather than just knowing about God. We have replaced power with programs, revelation with administration and the Father’s heart with organizational skills.

Second, the Church must learn how to contend for the faith again. We are weak, and we fall away so easily when crisis is not at hand. We have not been tested, and we have lost our resolve. We understand little of the adversary’s plans. We do not know how to debate our faith without becoming angry, and thus we have so few strong, clear, godly voices in political arenas. We have lost our witness — the witness that convicts others and strongly testifies that God is still God and is very, very real. We have lost the witness that demonstrates that God is a personal God in a very impersonal world, the witness that says, “What I do proves God exists.”

Third, the Church must return to the love of God’s Word and the belief that it is infallible and inerrant. This would include the conviction, understanding and knowledge that God is absolute, and there is only one way to know Him: through Jesus the Messiah. We need a new revelation that God’s power is unlimited, His knowledge is unending, His presence is with us always and He never changes. We have made God far too small, and our lives prove it.

Fourth, we will need to declare sacred and solemn assemblies of repentance and corporate fasting in many parts of this nation — a time set aside for rending our hearts before God.

“Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him — A grain offering and a drink offering For the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD.” — Joel 2:12–17

CRISIS IS THE FRUIT OF FOLLOWING THE WRONG GOD
God allows calamities to happen in order to draw us to Himself. What does that mean? It means that God allows us to reap the fruit of that which we serve. Walking in God’s ways brings blessings and fullness of life, while walking in the ways of the “god of this world” will bring the fruit of the god of this world: decay, destruction, deterioration and death. We make our choice, then the choice makes us. Sadly, we are developing a history of wrong choices.

Throughout Scripture, when crises hit the people of God, they turned their hearts to Him, and He heard and took action.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. — Jeremiah 29:12–13

May the people of the United States seek the Lord … and find Him. Remember, we still have the promise that if we turn from our wicked ways, God will heal our land.

Revival coming

Brother Samachen gave the following prophetic word to Larry and Chris Reichert in Sugarland on July 17, 2009. Brother Samchen had never seen Larry and Chris before and had no prior knowledge about where they live or what they do. He did not know that Larry is the pastor of Christ the King Church.

To Chris: In the name of Jesus, Holy Spirit is reminding you that a great missionary work is before you, a great ministry of miracles is before you. In your family and the place you live there is going to be a great revival. So pray for that particular place. Pray for Woodlands, and you are going to see the work of the Lord. A name which begins “Christ” is going to be revealed in your church, and that is going to turn to be “King” and that’s going to turn to a revival. In these days God is going to reveal his great plans.

The Lord is going to take your church to a second level and He is preparing the church for a new season. He is going to give enlargement and people are going to come from far away places and are going to get delivered at your place. Surrender yourself for a great revival. In the name of Jesus, I pray and anoint her. Lord, command your impartation. Bless her in the name of Jesus. Let it be so in the name of Jesus.

To Larry: I’m going to reveal a pastoral ministry with power in your life like an apostle. I’m going to send in your youth church a great revival. Surrender yourself for a greater work of the Lord.

Brother Samachen then asks Larry and Chris from what place they had come. After they told him Conroe/Willis area, he said:

God is going to send a mighty revival in that place. You should pray effectively and powerfully. In your church, worship is going to be revealed in a manner which can’t be stopped or contained. For that, let the people surrender themselves. The books which you write are going to cause revival. You’ll start worship services in different languages. And many branches will come out of your church. Five-fold ministry will be manifested in your church. Lots of pastors and prophets are going to rise up under your ministry.

The Dangerous Pond

I had a spiritual experience many years ago. In this experience I was sitting by a pond feeling very anxious. The reason for my concern was over the Christians I saw come and stand by the pond, look into the pond, survey it, then jump in. They would never come out again. I knew that they were being devoured by the sharks in the pond. So I sat there totally perplexed, not knowing what to do. I finally decided: I am just going to have to be bold, stand up, and try to explain to these Christians that come to this pond that they need to stay away and above all not jump into it. So I began to do that. Christians would come and I would say, “Please don’t jump into the pond; it’s filled with sharks and I’ve never seen one Christian come out yet. Please do not jump in.” The Christians would just look at me and sneer, as though saying “You silly girl” and they would look back at the pond and in they would go. This continued to happen. So finally, I felt so sad, I went over and I sat off by myself wondering what to do about the Christians that were coming to the pond. How do I protect them from the dangers of this pond? As I was in this perplexity, thinking in my heart, wondering before the Lord, I heard the pond say to itself, “You know, I’m getting very tired of just devouring silly little Christians that want to come and play in my waters. I know what I will do. I will rise up like a mighty flood, a mighty tidal wave, and I will overtake Zion. And I will get the whole Church.” I went into a panic. I rose up and I started running as hard as I could toward the city of Zion. As I entered into Zion, I began to cry out into the streets, “The pond! The pond is rising up like a mighty tidal wave to destroy the city of Zion! Run! Run for your life!” And I would cry out so loud, but no one would listen to me. So, I was running through the city of Zion. I came out on the other side and sat down on the curb and there I sat crying. I was rocking back and forth, crying, crying, crying; “Lord, I don’t know what to do. I tried to warn Zion that the pond is going to rise up and overtake the city and destroy everyone in it and no one will listen to me. Lord, come and save Zion. Help! Help, Lord! Come and save Zion.” And I just rocked back and forth crying out to God. Suddenly, the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me. He was standing above me. I was so happy to see Him. I looked at Him and I said, “Jesus! Did you hear my cry? The pond is rising up and it’s going to rise up until it overtakes Zion. Please Jesus, save the Church. Save the Church!” And He said to me, “Nita, come be in Me.” I replied, “I can’t be in You. You are God! Please Jesus, save the Church. Save Zion! Save the city! Please come and save your people!” “Nita, come and be in Me,” was His response. Again I cried, “I can’t be in you Lord! You are God! Please come and save the Church. Save Zion! Save your people, Lord!” I kept on crying out like that. “Lord, look! The pond is over the city now!” The wave had crested so high that it was literally above the city and ready to crash down on it. “Look, Lord! Look what the pon d is doing! It’s going to destroy the city! Save your people!” “Nita, come and be in me,” was again His response. Before I could argue with Him a third time, I was raised up to be in Him and we became one. When we became one, you couldn’t tell me from Jesus and you could not tell Jesus from me. My vision changed, my mind changed, my heart changed, everything inside of me changed. I looked at the wave that was cresting over the city of Zion and a holy and righteous anger began to build up inside of me and I began to blow at the wave. As I blew, it was Jesus blowing through me, and it forced that wave right back down into that pond only split seconds before complete destruction. Then the Lord stepped back, looked at me, and said, “What I have shown you today is what the Scripture means in Isaiah 59:19. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.’” This experience demonstrates what that Scripture means. God is preparing a standard. Satan is tired of devouring Christians that want to play in the world and his desire now is to just come after the whole Church and bring complete destruction. That is his desire. While he is working feverishly to bring this about, God is working passionately to prepare for Himself a standard. This standard is a people who have let go of the world, been purged of the world, whose flesh is dead to the works of Satan, whose flesh is dead to the passions of the world, whose soul is consumed by the Spirit of God, literally possessed and animated by the Spirit of God, the life of God owning that Christian. This standard will then be anointed with the authority of heaven. It is above anything the Church has ever seen. The closest thing – the only thing – they have ever seen that even remotely compares to it is when the Lord Jesus Christ Himself was here. He walked in the authority of Heaven, hindered by nothing. The Church has never come up to the place that Jesus said we would come to. He said, ”greater things than these shall you do.” [John 14:12] We’ve never entered into this because there has never been a generation that was willing to leave the world and become possessed by Christ, so completely possessed by Christ that He owns their minds, their hearts, and their bodies. He will animate them by His own life. He will transform them by His own life; they will have literally become the temples of the living God. And just as the Spirit of the Shekinah came when Solomon’s temple was dedicated coming down so plentifully, so overwhelmingly, that the priests could not even stand up to minister to the Lord: they fell to their faces. [II Chron 5:14] The train of the Lord filled the temple. Filled! Filled the temple! And there is coming a generation that is going to be equally as filled with God. The temple, the holy of holies, was reserved for God. And He came and He so filled the holy of holies, that no man could stand in His presence. This is the standard of the Lord that is coming. God is not going to care what color person He uses. He will not care what nation the person comes from. He will not care if they are Baptist, Charismatic, Pentecostal; none of that is going to play into it. The only thing that’s going to matter to Him is how much He owns them. He is not going to care about how old or how young they are, or how long they’ve walked with Him. None of that is going to matter. It’s not going to matter to Him if they pastor a church of 5 or if they pastor a church of 100,000. Maybe, like Paul Yongi Chow, they will pastor half the country! None of that is going to matter to Him. The only thing that is going to matter is how much He owns that Christian. If His train is filling their temple, utterly possessing them, animating them, He will use them as the standard of the Lord. This must come to pass. It must! The Church cannot be taken until it does. He is going to take home to Himself a glorious Bride without spot or wrinkle. It’s going to be a Bride filled with love, filled with faith, clothed with holiness, walking in authority and power. [Eph 5:27, Rev 21:9]

My dear friends, times are changing. The Church must change. The Church must become the time-setter, and the pace-setter. The Church must become the torch of the Lord, the standard of the Lord, the sword of the Lord, the very voice of the Lord to the world. But she cannot become that until she first be owned by Christ. This Bride is going to be so beautiful, so empowered. She is going to walk in such wisdom, such authority, such love, such holiness; the love that is going to flow through her is going to be like liquid love because it will be love Divine. No more will there be the isolations of people groups in the body of Christ. We will become one. We must become one, so that the world will know that Christ has come. We cannot continue to perpetuate the divisions in the Church. We must become one in love and we must become one in humility. Every man will respect his brother and his sister more than himself, caring about the needs of his brother or his sister more than his own. There must be change in the Church and only the Spirit of the Lord can make it happen. But it is going to start with a people who are willing to give all for the sake of knowing the revelation of Jesus Christ. How do we give the world what we do not have? We cannot sit any longer and think that because we know how to get saved, we know how to get people healed, we know how to prophecy, we know how to do this and that, that we have the revelation of Jesus Christ. We are walking in such a minimal revelation that it is almost frightening. But there is a revelation that is coming that will so transform the Church that it will get the world’s attention. Then, finally, the world will have to say, “Yes, Jesus is Lord!”

Alien Encounters

The Weeping Room– Pathway to Strategy

One day as I was in prayer the Lord began to open up my eyes to a spiritual encounter. I saw myself being taken up to heaven. Before me I saw a huge house with many rooms. I knew instantly that this was the ‘Father’s House’. I could feel the love of the father drawing me in, so I began to run as fast as I could to enter the house. As I entered, the Lord walked with me through many rooms, each one packed with spiritual meaning.

He quietly invited me to follow Him into the most beautiful room in the whole house— the intimacy room. It was absolutely extravagant and beautiful. Upon entering the room, I was overwhelmed with love and wanted to stay there forever. In the Spirit I could hear other people (other believers) in all the different rooms of the house. Some were studying books in the library; others were becoming intoxicated in the spiritual wine cellar. I was somewhat surprised that everyone wasn’t in the intimacy room since it was the most beautiful room in the whole house.

As I was admiring this intimacy chamber, I noticed a little wooden hatch door on the floor adjacent to the bed. It seemed really odd to me, because it wasn’t fancy and hardly seemed to fit with the rest of the room. I asked the Lord why it was there, and He told me that it led down to another room in the house. I asked Him why He would put this door so close to the most beautiful thing in the whole room, the bed. He responded, “I keep it here, because down there is where I spend most of my time”. Instantly my curiosity was stirred so I asked what was down there. He said it was called the “Weeping Room”.

Although it hardly sounded like a room I wanted to be in, there was a cry in my heart that said that if that is where the Lord spends His time, then that is where I want to go. I asked Him if I could go down there with Him, and He responded “Very few will choose to go down there, it’s not extravagant like this room, it’s lonely, it’s not comfortable, and you have to get very low to fit through the door.” I told Him that I didn’t care what the conditions would be like; I just really wanted to be wherever He was.

So we opened the little hatch door and began to slowly climb down a dark staircase until we came upon the tiny room. I had to get on my knees to fit through the door because it was so small. As we entered the room it was very simple. All it consisted of was a small wooden chair. One of the walls had a small window in it. The Lord took His seat on the chair and turned His face to look out the window. Instantly I became aware of why this room was called the weeping room.

As you looked out the window-you could see and hear every single cry coming from people on the earth. You could see every single act of injustice all at the same time. Every starving child crying out to God, every woman being raped, every moan of the rejected…you could hear every prayer, every cry all at the same time. The Lord sat in His chair and watched and heard it all.

At once I was overwhelmed with intercession and began to weep. I wept for hours. I wept for those who were hurting, but even more-I was undone by this beautiful King who would choose to spend His time in this place; This King who paid such attention to every cry and who was so full of compassion. As I sat and wept with the Lord, I began to ‘feel’ His heart-and all my selfish ambition began to fade away

While we were in that place I noticed that there was another door in the weeping room. I asked the Lord what was behind that door and He told me that was where the ‘Strategy Room’ was. As He said those words, instantly in my spirit I knew in that room divine strategy for end-time revival was available. Although the door was still closed, I recognized that Wisdom and Revelation where in there.

Heavenly blueprints were laid out to see the fulfillment of His kingdom coming to earth from that room. It was like the hidden room that everybody searches for. Everyone longs to have divine strategy. I immediately asked if I could go in there and the Lord soberly told me that I didn’t ‘fit through the door’. I instantly understood that I had to spend time in the weeping room. As I began to really apprehend the heart of God for the poor and the broken, then issues of my soulish nature would be stripped away until I would become small enough to fit through the door.

At that moment everything became clear. This was the only way to access divine strategy. From the place of intimacy God invites us in to a deeper level— He beckons us into the weeping room-a place where we choose to see what He sees and feel what He feels. And as we spend time getting the heart of God, things of our flesh begin to be stripped away until we are small enough to fit through the door that leads to the strategy room.

I had this encounter over two years ago but I believe that God is now moving many in the church from the place of intimacy into weeping. This will lead them into the strategy room. In actuality, you never have to leave the intimacy room; you just discover the deeper levels. Many have already surrendered themselves to the weeping room and extravagantly pursued the heart of God for the broken— they are now being invited into the strategy room.

I had another encounter a little over a year ago in which I heard a loud voice say, “It’s Time!” and in the Spirit I saw the strategy room door swing open. God is inviting us into divine strategy that will release a global harvest of souls, and establish the revelation of His kingdom on earth through overcoming saints.

I believe that as we enter the “strategy room,” we will be compelled and moved by what we have seen and felt in the weeping room. I have a sense that some have gone before us into the strategy room. Unfortunately, most quickly forgot what the strategy was for and used it to build their own kingdom. (Haggai 1:3-7) God is in the process of raising up a whole company of believers who are repulsed at the idea of building their own kingdom. This company will have their hearts truly branded with passion and compassion. These are the ones that God is looking to release into the strategy room. “It’s Time!”

Heaven Awaits the Bride

The difference between The Heavens Opened and this newer Heaven Awaits the Bride is a matter of layout and design. The original version has all the footnotes at the end of the book, whereas this republished version has them spread throughout the book. This makes for easier reading by eliminating the need for constant flipping to the back of the book.

This is one of the few books I have ever read more than once. There is much to think about and absorb. The footnotes are also well worth the time to study.

Wall of fire

While in Israel on March 7, 2008, we walked through a tunnel that allows us to view portions of the old Jerusalem wall very near the Temple Mount. We did not see anything unusual with our eyes, but the picture reveals a different reality.

The picture on the right was taken 2 minutes and 26 seconds after the picture on the left:

Looking at these photographs, I cannot help but think of a promise the Lord made concerning Jerusalem:

“Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls because of the multitude of men and cattle within it. For I,” declares the Lord, “will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” (Zechariah 2:4-5)

A new global economy has begun

 

“September Will Convince You that You Must Connect to His Economic System”

The following is a prophecy given by Dr. Sharon Stone in Glasgow, Scotland in the summer of 2008. The notations in brackets are fulfillment of the word, but are not part of the word given.

September is a turning point and a sign of the times. It is all about those who have made Godly alignments in this season being blessed with revelation and information in the midst of world crisis.

1. I see more banks will suffer: a USA world bank’s shares are in trouble [Lehman Brothers files bankruptcy, September 15, 2008].
2. I see government in the USA bailing out mortgage giants [Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – Federal takeover, September 7, 2008]
3. and the government in England cutting house purchase taxes for the sagging housing crisis [Stamp Duty Tax change announced, September 2, 2008] to no avail.
4. I see a European airline failing with no notice [XL files bankruptcy, September 12, 2008].
5. I see the eyes of the world looking to see, ‘Who is this coming out of Alaska?’ [Sarah Palin announced as McCain's running mate, August 29, 2008]. And I see smoke coming from the Chunnel [Fire in the Chunnel, September 11, 2008].

As I see these things, I hear the encouragement of God to His Isaacs in the earth who sow in the times of famine and reap 100 fold in the year. I’m not a prosperity preacher, I’m a prophet. And God is saying that September will convince you that you must connect to His economic system. There are always the few that are greatly blessed when the majority are shaken, threatened and fearful.

God says, “Have you positioned yourself for THE NEW? Your storehouse is not an earthly bank. Hold on and I will bail you out of your mortgage issues. Am I not better to you than any government? I will not leave you stranded on foreign soil, and I will carry you above the circumstances better than any plane or jet. And your hope is not an Alaskan saviour, but Me.” I know that sounds strange, it does to me also.

England, the smoke I saw coming out of the Chunnel is a warning for your intercessors to arise and cut off the enemy’s plan to sabotage and siege England’s favour in trade. Let him who has ears hear…. “God, I release an Isaac anointing upon us now!

“A New Global Economy has begun and a Financial Era is over.”

Dr. Sharon Stone delivered delivered the following prophecy at CIM Church, Burton on Trent.

I believe tomorrow, and continuing, we will see this in the headlines of the newspapers. “The Banking crisis: failures and mergers, will continue for the next 3 years. Regulations in the financial sectors will affect the nations.”

But God says, “In the long run it will be for your benefit. Breakthrough is not this year, but some will begin in 2009.”

Some will quote the scripture:

Matt 6:31-34 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Don’t worry does not mean don’t pay attention to. The bible also says:

Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

God is raising up ‘Prophetic Economists’ to progress outside personal prophesying into the economic, marketplace jurisdiction.

So Declare to My people, “There is no recession in heaven. I have unprecedented means to bring provision to My people. Church, you cannot afford to be separated from My Prophets. Each Christian must seek, knock, ask, hear, and be obedient precisely to the plans I give them. But My Prophets will again speak into and change economic seasons and governments, just as Elijah prophesied that it would not rain from the revelation he received. That prophetic word affected and changed their economy. There were no crops, no harvest, no trade and no money when there was no rain. That prophetic word initiated a famine but it also brought miraculous provision for the widow during famine. Joseph’s prophetic strategy prepared a nation to sustain nations in the times of famine. So connect on a new level to My Prophets. Revelation will assist My Church to resist recession.”

Filing a Chapter 11 in the USA means bankruptcy; but God is saying, ‘ I want you to align with Hebrews Chapter 11 as heroes of Faith. Many will panic and fear, but you must partner with faith. When the spies came back to give their report of the Promised Land, the majority created an atmosphere of fear. Resist fear on behalf of your nations. Fear and famine will blind you from My provision. Elijah’s servant could not see the cloud of provision due to fear, and famine blinded him. Elijah had already heard the abundance of rain. If you can hear the prophetic you can enter the grace of abundance and acceleration, being able to run, rather than operating in a frozen economy. This is a time of Abundance vs. Recession. Remember a New Global Economy has begun and a Financial Era is over.’

A New Global Economy has begun and a Financial Era is over and many will try to use old market trends, but they will not work. Some will try to return to pre-1929 market crash strategy. But God already reminded me, He has been speaking to me about Europe choosing whether it is going to enter into an Old Feudal System where the rich minority rules the masses who are in lack, or, enter into a Fertile Season where God’s provision sustains us and moves us ahead with abundance.

You can reign where you have endured the pain. God wants to transform the difficulties that the economic crisis will cause. Money talks and brings influence. God wants to give us a new affluence, wealth and success.

Don’t look to the US dollar. Their economy has stumbled and is falling. Don’t continue credit card debt. Be willing to wait on immediate gratification. I will assist those who have removed themselves from credit card debt with a grace of supply lines for the season ahead like Joseph. Enablement, favour, grace can be your portion where you will

1. sow sacrificially,
2. distribute with discernment, and
3. cultivate a storehouse.

Prov 3:1-1 Trust in Me with your whole heart and lean not on our own understanding. Remember to acknowledge Me in all your ways and follow Me as I direct our paths.

Heb 10:35-39 You need endurance so you can receive the promise. Don’t cast away your confidence, for with it comes great recompense of reward.

‘For My Church …: The whole provision structure has changed. It is an economy of enablement, favour, and grace. As the king said “Is there no prophet of the LORD here that we may inquire of the LORD by him?” The king’s servant informed him Elisha was there. They had need; they were lacking water for the army going out against Moab. And the prophet instructed them to dig ditches right where they were, in their valley of need and lack. The provision of water would come but not in the usual way through rain. Provision would come through preparation and obedience to prophetic revelation. If you will prepare yourself to contain my provision, the rain will come. It will come from the unclean; so don’t call them unclean! You will grow in quantity. I will multiply you, and there will be greater corporate provision. I will remove obstacles for you. Enter this economy of grace.’

Peter in the boat

A dream reported by Neville Johnson in his e-mail newsletter, March 28, 2008

I found myself in the dream standing on a beach, the tide was almost full and somehow that seemed significant. The water gently lapped the sandy shoreline and a light colored mist hung over the water a few hundred meters offshore. The atmosphere was crisp yet warm. Suddenly a boat appeared through the mist heading towards me; a man was standing holding a tiller and cheerfully called to me saying “Do you want to come fishing?” I hesitated for a moment, then said, “OK,” pushing the boat out and, at the same time, jumping in. The man’s face emanated a glow that was not of this world, he had a rugged yet refined look; he seemed very focused and determined.

I had the strange feeling that I had been here before, but could not quite put my finger on it. The boat quickly moved out into deep water and stopped; the water was teeming with fish and it almost seemed like the fish wanted to be caught. This man looked at me and said, “My name is Peter.” With that he threw the net out and what seemed like no time at all he was pulling it in again, and the net was teeming with fish. As soon as the fish hit the deck of the boat they turned into people of all ages. I was struggling to get my mind around this unusual phenomenon when Peter said “The final harvest must be reaped but it can only be reaped by those who have crossed the River Jordan.” Suddenly it dawned on me that in my dream I was talking to the Apostle Peter. Before I could speak, Peter continued, “Jesus was involved in two fishing trips while He walked this earth, one at the beginning of His ministry and one towards the end of his ministry” (Luke 5:4-10 and John 21:6-8). Peter continued, “On the first fishing trip the net broke but on the second trip the net held. So it will be in this final harvest, the net will hold. The net broke in the early church and much was lost, but it will not be so in your day. Those who have left the wilderness behind and have crossed over into the Promised Land are those who have one goal and motive which is only to build the Kingdom of God. Jealousy, anger, selfish ambition no longer will hinder them nor spoil the harvest. Pride no longer motivates them and they have come into rest. The final harvest has begun and will increase in intensity until the end. The end is now in sight; the finishing line is in view. What began at Pentecost will finish in your day. The great cloud of witnesses watches with great joy and anticipation for the final consummation. Just as the harvest began with one generation in my day, so it will finish with this present generation in your day. My generation saw the foundations laid, your generation will see the building completed. There will be many in your generation who will overcome all things, even death. Our generation saw tares sown into the harvest field; your generation will see all the tares removed. The harvest wave is upon you; you will accomplish in one generation what hundreds of generations have longed to see. The Feast of Pentecost must give way to the feast of Tabernacles. Your generation will accomplish that which the church could not over the past two thousand years. The glorious shadow that emanated from the early church was just that, a shadow, you will see the fullness of the glory of God in one generation manifested in such a way that nothing will be impossible. The miracles we saw were just a foretaste of what was to come.”

Peter paused, looking at the people in the boat he said, “See how the boat has now grown.” I was amazed the boat was now huge and was accommodating so many people it was impossible to estimate how many people were now in the boat. Peter continued, “The seed of early church martyrs will blossom in your generation. One seed will produce countless multitudes in the harvest of your day. They watch with gratitude to the Lord for allowing them to be a part of what you will experience. This seed will explode into continuing ever increasing harvests until the Lord returns. They have waited to see this day.” Peter looked at me and said, “Tell the Christian leaders of your day, if they seek to profit by this harvest and build their own kingdoms with the harvest, they will be destroyed. This harvest is Holy; this fruit is precious. If you cause any to stumble you will surely be destroyed.” I felt the force and gravity of what Peter had just said. It hit me like a hammer blow and I had to steady myself somewhat in order not to miss anything more Peter had to say. Peter continued, “Purity of heart is required for those who are to be involved in gathering this harvest. It is the Lord’s harvest, not your harvest. He has waited for this with great longing and anticipation.”

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. (James 5:7)

Finally Peter said, “Don’t be impetuous like I was. Follow the Lord of the Harvest. True sons of God are led by the spirit of God.” I began to feel a holy fear which triggered a determination never to hurt or hinder the harvest, never to use it for my own ends and purposes. Peter looked at me and said, “Great grace will be given to your generation, but great accountability will be required.” With that he was gone and I awoke.

Intra Muros, Within the Walls, My Dream of Heaven

Rebecca’s descriptions of life in heaven and her interactions with her loved ones can be a great source of comfort for those who are losing or have lost dear friends in this life.

Originally published as Intra Muros in 1898, it is still available today in English (from Taxus Baccata Books www.browsersbookstore.com/publishing.html). This is the most complete version, the only version which includes Chapter 5, in which Rebecca describes being sent back to earth. Although invisible, and unbeknowns to her husband, Rebecca is able to save his life.

Republished by Harrison House as My Dream of Heaven, the text is only slightly edited, although Chapter 5 is omitted. Beautifully covered as a hardback, its paper and font elegantly designed, this version makes an wonderful gift.

Another version, Within the Gates (published by Christ for the Nations) is abridged, omitting a great deal of dialog, but without improving readability.

The Wave of Pure Light

While in a time of adoring worship of Him for whom my heart longs, He came to me snatching me away and took me into the spheres of His wondrous light. When He receives me into His presence He invariably does it with those ineffable words that ring such peace and security; He tells me: Do not be afraid!

I know that I would not be able to enter His cloud of gory if He did not give breath to me with His greeting, since the reaction that provokes the taking part in so high spheres of glory and holiness is tremendously overwhelming. He has to protect me in this way from the affects of such grandeur, and refulgence, for if He did not, I would be devastated and I would not be able to bear it. He also covers me in His cloud of love and peace when He shows me the operations of this hour.

With tremendous strength and demonstration of purpose, the Lord talked to me about a great “now” when He would be gathering multitude of souls. In contrast with His chosen in whom He had been performing a profound work, this new operation would be carried out in a completely exposed way and with great clarity.

Jesus showed me a new and extraordinary wave of heavenly, pure, light and life that He is accumulating to prepare the manifestation of the great harvest that will develop underneath the storm of evil which is forming. He told me that He would not wait or retain this wave anymore, but “now” had come. While being released by Him, it would flow over the earth, bringing multitudes of souls to the fold.

This new wave, full of powers and forces of light and life, was His instrument and had a double function: one function was to open as the incision of a sharp sword would make, and the other penetrated and went through beyond all defences and accomplished what God determined.

In this new occasion the Lord told me: You will see now! Immediately I looked and saw a new and mighty pure wave of power that had begun to work under that terrible storm of darkness of evil and persecution. While the storm of darkness still followed its course, this new wave of so pure light and life that had been prepared for this hour, suddenly started to expand in an explosive and magnificent way.

I saw how this new wave operated. I saw what appeared to be gigantic arms extending out to gather countless multitudes of souls for Jesus. In amazing operations of God, in great power and strength, untold millions were taken for Him.

However, there were differences between the levels and conditions of these souls. The elect ones were obviously superior in development and light, but despite their inferior condition, the souls gathered under the storm were more numerous and equally precious to the Lord. He was especially interested in the great harvest of this multitude of souls. With great joy and power He was intensively working to fulfil this.

The inferior condition of the new ones was detectable not by their appearance, but by their relationship with God. Those who walked above the storm have a very intimate relationship with Him, characterized by a great intensity, as if they were linked with the same fires and torrents of the divine nature. When the new ones received abundant blessings from God, it was due to the fact that these blessings rebounded from His chosen ones. The blessings on one rebounded as a blessing for the other. Clearly the operation of God in this wave of light developed in the chosen ones through purity and holiness.

The wave of pure light was working in the midst of great darkness underneath the storm. He showed me an especially terrible and gloomy area that offered no promise, where the wave had not yet reached. Then He caused me to see that this light would expand in places where it had never been before and where the darkness had reigned without opposition. These places were many and were awaiting the manifestation of this work.

Jesus said He would take this manifestation of this marvellous wave of light and life to a certain state of development, up to the same threshold of its explosion. Although He desired this wave to burst in this explosion force of purity, something was still missing prohibiting this from happening. The moment of this explosion would be precipitated and lit by the elect ones who were above the storm. Each of them individually had to open as if it were a door inside them and they also had to enter an even higher place of communion with Christ, which at the same time would open their inner doors to manifestation in power force of light.

While opening these doors that great wave of light would pass through them and would start to accomplish its purposes and works over the land of the final harvest. Although this wave, full of extreme power and force to the reaping, would gather multitudes, it would however gradually and progressively advance, taking its territory as long as the chosen ones moved forward and opened the doors to the new ones. The ones who were under the storm, though they received great provision of light and life that God shed, nonetheless they were allowed to be moved, shaken and buffeted. However, through this, the way would be provided in which the Lord would mould, transform and develop them. On the contrary, those who were above the storm of darkness, that is the elect ones could not be shaken as they were rooted and asserted in their relationship with Christ.

Jesus explained that these sons that would give way to this new wave must be extremely purified. This purification is of fundamental importance, not only for themselves, but also for these new ones that will be gathered. This high, complete purification of the elect ones is equivalent to the opening of the doors inside them that will rebound in a force of great life and light to those millions that are still in darkness.

The Four Fierce Angels

Following are two prophetic words given by Annie Schisler: the first in 1989, before the Berlin wall came down, and the second in 2001.

It was during a conference in Holland in 1989 that I was alone and in the presence of God. Again, He carried me away to this special place that he has preserved for me and in which He sustains me when He wants to show me things that are terrible to behold. Once I was put in this special shelter, Jesus began to show me natural and spiritual changes that would happen in Europe and in the Middle East. He revealed to me how the geopolitical map of the European continent would change in a drastic way, particularly with the fall of communism. At the moment it seemed inconceivable that such changes could possibly occur.

Nevertheless in obedience to the Lord, I declared the vision in the conference on July 9th, 1989. Some days later in a Church in England, I again shared the vision, however this time with more details. Within six months the vision I am about to share began to unfold in the natural.

The Four Fierce Angels

As I sat and worshipped my living Lord, He came and once again took me away into His place of revelation. As He comforted me and covered me, I looked and beheld four incredible beings. They were sent to stand on the four corners of the European Continent. These beings were huge and impressive in the magnitude of their power and authority.

As they stood just above the continent, these evil, angelic beings began to show a reigning and dominate nature. Their appearance was fierce. They were given the power to shake everything. Soon it would be time for these forces to take action.

They would first operate and dominate in Europe then extend their influence to the rest of the world gaining their control little by little eventually surrounding and controlling everything. The importance of what would happen remained marked in my heart, since it will prove to be vital and crucial to the entire human race.

These huge, fierce, reigning angels of fearsome power were sent to change the development of the future, beginning now. They will shake every order both spiritual and political, known up to this point in time. Jesus gave me understanding that it was now time for the previous spiritual rulers to be replaced by these dominant powers of darkness. They were now staged to bring upon the earth a more subtle and powerful darkness than the earth has ever known.

In this vision I saw how the spirit of communism was devoured and substituted by these new forces. This new government would facilitate new and greater wars and much bloodshed as in past centuries. These four new powers of darkness now reigning over Europe would affect the whole world even more than the World War II. God is letting this occur to pave the way for the great and final king of darkness.

The Government of these Forces

The spiritual government being exercised through these dark forces was connected to the government of men. The political world and the government of men are intricately interrelated. I could see that it is like a spider web. When the web is touched it sends pulsating movement throughout the whole web. In this same way these forces will use their power to shake and change everything. In a pulsating fashion touching this system until their purpose has been realized. As a result, the activity of the whole world would enter into to a time of great transition and alterations. This would be particularly realized in the control of the individual and in the control of the economy.

Jesus showed me that at the beginning these powers, through present political movements had a benign and beneficial appearance. It would begin to look as though this new way was bringing great solutions and answers that people applauded. Then I saw a new alliances begin to form by human alliance. However, this bond was only a disguise to hide the implementation of an evil work that would come to light in a short time.

Power of the Middle East

The vision continued to develop and the Lord showed me that in addition to Europe, the Middle East was also released to new and higher powers of darkness. These powers would work great destruction, and by means of war, attempt to impose their control upon all other nations. The spirit of violence accompanying these global powers was so tremendous that they brought commotion and changes in the whole world especially the United States.

Such things as I saw this time though from the shelter of His love and the safety of His protection, made a deep impact upon me.

World leaders will be weakened bringing unimaginable shock and chaos. Due to the influences of the reigning powers leaders will make a lot of mistakes, many wrong decisions that would contribute to aggravating their problems even more.

All these things put together dramatically affected the United States in connection to its power and influence in the world. The reign of these spirits also entered the material sphere; gaining control in the economic world and provoked a progressive and severe financial collapse. As the vision progressed, I saw that the United States was about to be involved in another war, which would further weaken its political and economic arenas.

The European Bloc

The European Continent will be strengthened and united to other powers. World alliances will be formed creating a great economic, political and commercial bloc – globalizing everything. This will bring about a matrix of enormous world influence preparing the way for the coming anti-Christ.

As these powers unite and take control, everything will seem to unify and function remarkably well in the natural world – for a time. Then I saw the strength of individual governments being shaken. There will be a state of international insecurity further weakening the world financial institutions, leaving them without backing or reliability.

Devastating uncertainty will abound further incited by a great evil force called “spirit of fright and horror.” This cloud of evil will further weaken humanity preparing them for the coming anti-Christ.

The Work of the Ruling Spirits

I looked and saw a great cloak of darkness that hid tremendous evil. This controlling force enslaved and oppressed society. People who were under its control would lose all traces of goodness, purity, honesty, and morality, becoming inwardly empty. It reminded me of a trunk of a tree that had been devoured on the inside by termites leaving only a hollow shell of bark when the feast was finished. This state of emptiness brought on by their rejection of God, caused these people to become propitious toward the mandates of the evil one. Entire generations will live in this condition of internal emptiness, contamination and evil – totally impervious to God.

As I watched this time of evil unfold Jesus spoke to me saying: “This is a time of definition for the sons of God, as well as for all mankind.”

The Reigning Spirit, “Control”

This reigning force called “Control” is unimaginably powerful. As I watched it maneuver in the midst of great human need, I saw that his treacherous ways were subtle and barely discernible; but to those who were locked in the cloud of increasing darkness and fear, he seemed as an angel of light. He seemed to offer solutions in the midst of impending doom.

However, his solutions were nothing less than a predetermined path leading to the ultimate prison.

As I continued to watch this horror unfold before me, I could see, not only the actions of this ruling spirit, but also his covert intentions. What initially seemed like benevolent solutions would in the end become a means of obtaining his goal of complete tyranny over mankind. His ruthless kingdom built on the foundation of hate and greed will become apparent only when he has a sure confidence that his throne is well secured among unsuspecting men. He will gradually bring the world into his new system, creating laws that will justify his global control. By this means he will acquire complete dominance over all men, preparing the way for the emergence of the anti-Christ and his new world order.

The Purpose of the Visions

These visions with their great insight into the uncertain future were given by our benevolent Father to encourage us. It is out of His abundant mercy that He is drawing His own ones to His side, that He might spare us from the intentions of the evil one.

The Father mercifully dispenses judgments to separate all who belong to Him from all that do not. Those who desire Him will be greatly touched and influenced by His justice, and will be preserved and kept for Christ Himself. Out of the love flowing from a pure heart His precious ones will run to His side, and be hidden under the shadow of His wings. There in this secret place He will reveal His tender love, care and supernatural provision for all who love Him.

He comforted me as He spoke: “My sons — those who will come to Me, will increase their dependence upon Me and their knowledge of My person. They will no longer depend upon their own resources and thoughts. For I have prepared for them a supernatural revival.”

Further, Jesus gave me understanding regarding the proclamation of the visions saying: “The prophetic word must be declared first in the spiritual realm, as that is where all things originate before they are reflected upon earth. Then it must be declared in the temporal to precipitate its fulfillment.”

Present Day Europe

Transparent Place of Security

In the year 2001 I was unexpectedly called to Holland and England once again. Once we arrived we were met with incredible circumstances that necessitated cancelling all the plans that were made for us to journey and speak. We simply stayed in various cities and hotels and did nothing but pray. This imperative situation pushed me into the Lord’s presence to hear His will and obey regardless of my understanding. I was concerned about our sons and friends in Uruguay but, I knew we could not yet return, so we contacted our intercessors and immediate fervent prayer began to ascend to the throne on our behalf.

During this time of intense seeking of the Lord’s face, Jesus came and once again took me away into Himself. As I entered this place with Him He began to overwhelm my whole being with His liquid light. This washing of His wonderful light caused me to become submerged in Him and in His love in an intense and tender way. I was impregnated by His presence, removing all fear. This prepared me for what I was about to see.

I was then placed in a sort of armour plated, transparent, crystal box. I could see this place was strong and well fortified. He carefully placed me there to protect me, preventing me from being affected by all that I was about to be shown. I felt a great security. I was there with Him, and in this covered place I knew nothing could harm me. After a moment I realized that this transparent covering was really composed of the precious blood of Jesus. It was His blood that made this hiding place impenetrable. For this reason no evil spirit, nor power of darkness could in any way violate me.

The Lord then told me that what I would see would be of great importance both for me, and the world in which I live. Further, He stated that this time in history is of enormous significance. As His words entered into me, my spiritual senses were much awakened and entered into an acute state of alert.

Spirit of “Hatred of God”

I saw the most powerful empire among the nations of the earth shaken. I instantly knew it was the United States. I could almost feel the affects of what was about to happen. Jesus was anticipating me.

Jesus continued His instruction. As the vision carried on, I saw a satanic spirit of great power and blasphemous hatred for God Himself released upon the earth. It was horrifying to see this infectious spirit spread its evil nature over the nations like a contagious disease. The power of every country it affected was weakened underneath its influence. His dominion resulted in disaster, disorder and great confusion.

The outstanding features of this terrible force were the violent and blasphemous words it released against God. His expressions were the result of his own vile hatred and fury against God. Men who submitted themselves to him became mere replicas of his own nature.

Its operations were indicative of his inner motivations. He was a cruel devourer, like a wild beast seeking his prey. He was characterized by a cruel and irrational instinct, void of any mercy toward its prey.

Spirit of “World Control”

This spirit was a force of uncontrollable power. It seemed to be Satan himself, controlling everything with great haughtiness. His actions had an incredible debilitating affect on nations and on men. Like dominos falling one after another, men and nations would be further shaken in their human securities, making them evermore prone to his evil entrapments.

It was most enlightening to see how these spirits could operate due to the evil conditions found in men’s heart. Due to all that had preceded the working of this evil force, being so long fed by pride and rebellion, these men were totally closed to the influence of the Spirit of God. They had no fear of God and now were completely uninhibited and defiant in their behaviour.

These spirits were fed by their human counterparts and would increasingly be enlarged in their dominion, hardening people with sin and endeavouring to keep them insensible to their opportunities of life in God.

Herein is the double workings of God: on the one hand He allowed these forces to arise in great shakings and judgment on the ungodly, and on the other hand He purposed with great yearning to arouse the sleeping and lukewarm in His Church to a conviction of their great need for Himself. All this temporal devastation was actually designed as tools in His capable hands to correct and purify His own ones and bring them to His loving side.

Beginning of the Middle East War

The visions concerning this theme came one after another. From His place of peace and protection I could see war starting in the Middle East, spreading through Europe and reaching America. The spirit of “Hatred for God” inspired this war that was brooding in the Middle East. It manifested as a blasphemous, violent and uncontrollable fanaticism.

I saw this spirit as a whirlwind in the desert, shaping into a nest wherein these ruling spirits of darkness dwelt. Like the winds blowing in increasing intensity they affected many of the Arabic Nations. The countries that were affected were given over to the false and deceiving spirits, and with total defiance and force sought spiritual control as they endeavoured to impose a blasphemous god. Those given over to its power were totally possessed. The venom of its evil was primarily targeted at Israel.

The objective of these spirits is the total annihilation of Israel. Consequently because of the support that America has been to Israel, they long to unleash their destructive power upon America as well. At this very moment, this spirit is stronger and far more deceptive than what men believe or are able to discern. This spirit is never subject to men, but men void of the spirit of God are subject to it.

Indications of These Spirits

The summary of natural signs consistent with the activity of these spirits is as follows:

1. An illogical and irregular behaviour of governments, making great mistakes in crucial moments, causing confusion and chaos.

2. Countries will arise in war with more powerful armaments than they appeared to have. These will bring the destruction of many innocent people.

3. The most powerful country in the world, (USA), will suffer great changes because other countries will take advantage of its conflicts and will work to further weaken it. Because God loves America, it will not be destroyed. However, it will progressively decline in its status of being the first world power.

4. There will be great famine in several parts of the earth and multiplied thousands will perish from terrible disease. Though these cycles have scourged the earth in the past, there will be distinctive signs of the end-time plagues. These events will develop quickly, unavoidably and without control.

5. Natural disasters will affect the climate and will alter water levels, changing even the physical characteristics of the countries and bringing very detrimental effects to many of them.

6. All this world chaos will be the favourable environment for the enemy and his forces to facilitate their purposes. Great poverty, injustice, insecurity and criminality will be seen all over the world, paving the way for the anti-Christ.

7. After some time another President will arise in the USA who will be extremely hostile towards the Gospel, and will claim that Christianity and the US policy of defending Israel, are the cause of America*s current crises.

8. For a short time during this international crises Russia will stand with America. Then it will betray America provoking something even more serious for the United States with a view to an even greater conflict.

9. Argentina will be utterly devastated in all areas, including the economic, political, social and moral realms. Internal conflicts will increase causing great destruction. Argentina will be a laboratory of sorts to test expected results for other countries.

10. In relation to the economic order: in many countries the banks will run out of funds and will be left without effective backing ruining the current system. Therefore, the government will take control of everything, further restricting personal freedom and producing great fear and despair.

11. Europe will become the place of shelter for the anti-Christ. From there he will become manifest to the world in his proper time.

12. Countries planning to escape this unification will not survive. They will be forced to submit. Weapons of political and economic control will be used to force countries under this global control.

13. Implementation of a world court with increased powers and with authority to control all things will be increasingly stressed.

14. The operations of these reigning spirits that are assigned to bring about this one world government will seem to be soft on the outside. However, they will actually be very fearsome and powerful.

15. These high-ranking spirits will operate influencing and controlling heads of state, overcoming language, racial and cultural differences. I saw spirits enter these dignitaries. Although the bodies, personalities, and cultures of the dignitaries were different the operations of the spirits were the same and the many bodies they inhabited operated as though they were one man yielding all control to the evil spirit. These spirits will work through pacts and alliances and will gain widespread control.

16. Israel’s hidden power deployment designed to destroy their enemies will be seen in this upcoming war. These weapons are of such a nature as to have been unknown to mankind before. Bombs of great magnitude, capable of causing much destruction will be used. These events are only a link of the chain of events belonging to a sequence of predetermined incidents leading to the world dominion of the anti-Christ. Latin American countries will also be affected by these events. The whole world will only react as these things explode upon it, as though awakened to a living nightmare of which they have become apart.

A Call for Alert to His People

Jesus told me that His Spirit has released a call of alert for the Church to redeem the time as never before. The more I realize how fragile this world is, the more I am drawn to rest in Jesus, in His eternal Word and His supernatural resources for our present age.

A Place of Shelter

In these visions I was shown by Jesus that He is preparing a unique place of shelter for this hour for those who are committed to the person of Jesus Christ and walk closely to Him. His sanctified ones will be kept in this place of shelter and protected from all the storms and judgments that will come over the rest of humanity.

This will be a time when His beloved Church will be awakened, purified and prepared, being separated from all contamination, filth and delivered from all bondage. Just as the powers of darkness will increase in power so will the sons of light greatly increase in all that is God.

To His Beloved Ones

Simultaneous to all the afore mentioned events Jesus has prepared a great spiritual revival of life and light for this hour. This awakening will transform multitudes of lives in whom the reality and knowledge of the person of Jesus Christ will become most apparent. Although the future of the forces of darkness and their purposes in the earth seem so terrible, the Lord will use it to awaken people from the destruction of indifference, religiosity, and spiritual death.

I saw that His precious ones will be covered in the same armour plated cubical I was protected in while watching the visions unfold. The precious blood of Christ will cover and protect them from all evil. How wonderful His provision for His beloved will be. Neither the impure people nor the any force of darkness could penetrate the impregnable wall of His blood. Nevertheless only those who allow the deep work of the Holy Spirit in their lives will be preserved.

As I continued to watch the unfolding vision I saw that not only were His hidden ones loving protected and cared for by Christ Himself, but they will also be witnesses and participants of the fulfilment of His word and His will upon the earth.

Tank of Mercy

It was wonderful to enter into a place of infinite abundance now being accumulated for the purpose of soon being poured forth!

I saw the magnitude of the provision of His divine mercy. It had the appearance of a water tank the size of an entire city, but its provision was for only one person. It was an overflowing resource. Each of His own ones will be so endowed with this abundance in provision.

I was given to see things from the very inside of the person of Jesus. Things looked very different. The life that was in great activity in that place was ready to pour forth upon and imbue His people. By this great measure of God, which is only a small part of His person, will His own ones be awakened and strengthened in Himself.

I both saw and experienced this living and eternal measure of Himself. I was wonderfully amazed. What a sense of security it produced in me. How can I describe it? Christ’s control was absolute. It is light of very God, which cannot be enclosed or shut up. This new outpouring of His amazing life will greatly affect the world bringing about a great harvest.

Place of Appealing Capacities

What a tender and appealing welcome He gave me as I once again entered His presence. I will never understand why He loves me so. But, what a comfort it is when I hear Him tell of His great love for me again and again. This love has consistency and substance, covering and overwhelming my entire person.

As I came into His presence He took me to a place and asked me to look. As I beheld this place, I could see that it was “a place of appealing capacities.” I saw a vast amount of light, which had different functions and capacities. The Father would use these capacities in His surrendered ones to let them also be used to affect the spiritual world of people, cities, and nations.

These capacities came as an avalanche of or flood of life. The main component was His power. When mingled with His fire, it all came together to create a mighty river of God Himself.

I saw how the surrendered ones were drawn to Jesus like a magnet. I marvelled as I contemplated this.

The Effects of Appealing Capacities

While my spirit was absorbed in His wonderful presence, Jesus showed me again that “place of appealing capacities.” He allowed me to see my own being, very vulnerable and fragile. I saw Him infusing me with His strength. I knew that this impartation would accompany and support me at all times. What an amazing contrast between what I felt in myself, and what He imparted to me. This impartation of His very self filled my being and offset my weakness and fear.

The Place of His Shared Being

Through a new encounter of my spirit with Jesus, I entered a place I had never been before. It was very special and high as it was an exclusively separated place for someone very special and loved.

Upon entering, He let me know this place was for the beloved. The beauty was overwhelming and great peace and security emanated everywhere. The incomparable holiness of Christ Himself could be felt. It was place without a single spot of contamination, purer than the purest crystal and impossible to be described with words. There was a complete absence of sin.

I could ascertain that not only Jesus was in that high place. But also the Father and the Holy Spirit were there in perfect harmony and unity! How can the holiness of that place ever be described? No adequate words can be found. That translucent purity was the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit that permanently flowed together in perfect and high love and unity. This infinitely high and sublime place was captivating and attractive beyond all description.

Afterwards I saw how Jesus Himself was that place. It was actually inside His own being. Then I was able to comprehend that the Father and the Holy Spirit were actually sharing the place that had been prepared for His beloved.

That place had been set aside for those who were completely surrendered to Him, the beloved who had absorbed Him as a sponge absorbs water. Just like the sponge has nothing in itself, it is empty in itself, but with great absorbing capacity, the beloved that enter into that place can draw into themselves the essence of the Trinity while being contained in the Trinity.

What a precious reward for those lives that walked the way of surrender! Being attracted by such pure and high love held in the Trinity and prepared for His beloved, is the most precious reward that can ever be imagined.

I then saw how His beloved changed from being like sponges into becoming liquid itself. They had undergone a metamorphosis so Christ Himself, being wholly integrated into His nature, could absorb them. They experienced this transformation for they had given themselves in love to Him.

I could identify with them as I understood that they were lives just like mine, because He had also made me part of that liquid. He rejoiced, and how greatly He expressed His joy that their surrender had prepared them for Himself only. It was a very beautiful condition with His beloved that had been prepared and was awaiting Him. Having a body to share that beautiful something with produced in Him deep satisfaction, and fulfilment in the things done by Him. My whole being was moved by this part of Himself, and I was totally imbued with Him.

For instance he transported me out of this place and I saw extremely high walls without doors or windows. When He took me closer, I saw that the walls were huge beautiful angels that protected this place so that only those chosen by God were allowed to enter.

I saw how the lives that had been absorbed in Jesus’ inner world had received the capacity of going out filled by the power that emanated from Himself to accomplish His will.

It is glorious to mature and increasingly develop in the understanding of the things God was revealing. All things He showed me were brought to pass in an operation of permanent life, and nothing was wasted. I could see how the people that sincerely allowed and received this operation of the life of Jesus in their hearts came into a place where God revealed ever-increasing understanding of Himself and His kingdom.

From inside of Jesus’ person, all things look so different. This life was prepared to imbue His people with the very essence of Himself. Hearts will be awakened and strengthened in God Himself. I could not help being amazed by all this. I felt such assurance as I dwelt there. His control was absolute.

It is the very light of God that cannot remain confined, but that will extend out from itself, bringing about a great end-time harvest.

I Saw the Lord

Visions Given to Annie as told to R. Edward Miller

This is an amazing book describing the daily encounters Annie had with the Lord in the early 1970′s. Many of the revelations are in allegorical form, but Annie relates them just as she experienced them. As a brand new Christian, she had not yet read the Bible and had no mental grid for understanding much of what she saw.

There is a natural progression of the visions from revelations about the nature of God to important revelations concerning the preparation of the church, the end-time harvest and the return of Christ.

I first read these accounts soon after I became a Christian in the early 70′s, but recently felt moved upon by the Lord to reread them. They are an absolute must read for anyone serious about preparing for the tumultuous events of the last days.

Fasting

This New York Times best-seller is well written and easy to read, providing a good explanation of the applicability of fasting to the modern day Christian. Jentezen follows up his teaching with many inspiring testimonies demonstrating the power of fasting.

Though fairly comprehensive, one thing lacking is an explanation of some of the practical issues related to an extended fast. Jentezen briefly mentions the benefit of tapering as one enters the fast. This is the gradual reduction of certain kinds of foods, particularly caffeine and sugar, that can cause withdrawal symptoms such as headache pain. It is often helpful to gradually reduce one’s intake of food, preferably eating only fruits and vegetables, to give the body a chance to adjust to the idea of less intake.

However, also of great importance is the need to gradually adjust the body to eating after an extended fast (when water has been the only intake). This can be done by starting with juices (often diluted fruit juices) and then progressing to soft vegetables, then grains, and finally meats and dairy. This process may extend over a period of several days.

I heartily recommend this book to anyone considering fasting for spiritual reasons.

New Madrid Earthquake – Kilpatrick

Pastor Kilpatrick wants to share with his partners and friends the following vision and dream he had in April and May 2008. He has never posted a vision or dream on the internet, but after talking with some close friends, intercessors, as well as those in prophetic ministry he has agreed to do so. His intentions are not to alarm the Church or the public, but to forewarn us to pray concerning what he has seen. Sunday, April 27, 2008 – Vision
As I was approaching the Daphne Civic Center for Sunday morning service at Church of His Presence, I had a vision which lasted for about two or three seconds. In this vision, I saw the ground buckling before me. It was so real that I actually moved aside to avoid what I was seeing. I knew immediately that it was an earthquake, and the thought crossed my mind that the damages of this earthquake could have the potential to exceed those of Hurricane Katrina of 2005. Please understand that I am not saying that the Lord told me this. It merely crossed my mind.

Tuesday, May 20, 2008 – Dream

I awoke trembling and shaking at 5:00 in the morning after having a startling dream. This was one of the three most profound dreams that I have ever had during the ministry the LORD has called me to. I feel that this dream is an addendum to the vision I had on April 27, 2008.

In this dream I saw the words “wind and water.” I only saw the words but did not actually see any wind or water damage. I then found myself overlooking a river which instantly became so wide that I could no longer see either of its banks.

The dream then shifted, and I was with one of my parishioners running through what appeared to be an old abandoned school house. This empty building began to shake. The shaking was so violent and severe that it was like the bucking of a wild horse tossing us around. My teeth were clapping so hard from the impact that I tried to clench them to prevent this from happening.

In this dream I knew I was experiencing a massive earthquake. The sounds were so catastrophic that the thought crossed my mind that the devastation could likely exceed Hurricane Katrina of 2005. I did not see the devastation behind me; I only heard it. In all of my life I have never heard such catastrophic sounds. These were the scariest sounds I have ever heard.

The dream then shifted once more and concluded with two names on what appeared to be an old Spanish map. One name read Indianola and the other Europa. When I awoke, I was shaking as if I had chills and a fever. I could not stop trembling. All through the day I felt as if I had just had the dream 10 minutes ago.

This dream so shook me that my wife and I immediately went to the internet to do some research. I also contacted some close friends in the ministry and reliable intercessors concerning this dream. What we found was startling. There are towns called Indianola, IL; Europa, MO; and Indianola, MS. These towns run in a line from North to South with Europa, MO being near the middle of them. The Mississippi River runs between them with Europa, MO being by the epicenter of the New Madrid fault.

After seeing this, I believe the dream could be concerning a devastating earthquake on the New Madrid fault. Many reputable friends in ministry have felt that this dream was not to be interpreted as a spiritual dream because they felt that it has literal implications. Even now the intensity of this dream is the same.

I do not want to come across as an alarmist concerning what I saw. I also don’t want to put fear in the public or the Body of Christ. However, I cannot help but feel that God gave me this as warning to prepare us for the days ahead and to pray concerning this matter.

Please know that I did not see any timeframe as to when this may happen. Please pray with me concerning this vision and dream.

San Francisco Earthquake – Malone

Introduction

Dear Friend,

Several local and national prophetic voices have been warning the Body of major natural disasters in California that will occur much sooner than many may think.

On Sunday, May 25th, 2008, four men from Kansas City, MO, showed up in San Jose with a word from the Lord. The Lord had been speaking to them for several years about disaster coming to California.

CRI – Crisis Response International

Several years ago, God called Sean Malone with a special mission to enter into regions before major catastrophes to prepare the church and provide disaster relief. They call their team CRI, or Crisis Response International. Six months before 9/11 hit, the Lord sent Sean Malone, to cry out every day on building tops over lower Manhattan. He was there when 9/11 happened, and a team of them worked with the NYC’s Mayors Office to provide emergency lighting and do search and rescue. Five days before Hurricane Katrina hit, the Lord sent Sean and his family to New Orleans. Again, they were used of the Lord to minister to victims in the aftermath. In 05’ while evacuated from Katrina the Lord told Sean to go preach in San Jose.

In the city of New Orleans as they fed victims they would ask people, “So why do you think this happened?” Over and over again, the response was, “God did this. We deserved it, and I repent.” Hearts everywhere were tender and open to the gospel. The disaster had produced a huge harvest field.

One Monday morning in New Orleans, while they were ministering to the victims, a fiery baptism of the Holy Spirit broke out. Demons were being cast out and people were being healed. Prostitutes were hearing the audible voice of the Lord leading them block by block to the crisis center, and telling them to enter the building where the team was ministering. The Lord was pouring out His Holy Spirit in the midst of crisis for months following the event.

Three Disasters

The Lord showed this team that there would be three disasters to hit America. After the first one, the church would roll over and go back to sleep. After the second one, some of the church would wake up, but most would hit the snooze button and fall back asleep. By the third one, the crisis would be significant enough that the church would wake up for good. They believe that these three events refer to 9/11, Katrina, and now what will come to California.

Tsunami

Prophets have been speaking for many years about an earthquake as well as tsunami that would hit the coast of California. Sean had a dream in which he was on a beach in a place he later would identify as Half Moon Bay. In this dream the four men set up a tent (beachhead) on the beach. The waves were huge and he jumped into the water and the first wave picked him up and set him on the roof of a glass house, which later turned out to be full of prophets. The sky grew dark and he saw the waters on the beach recede far out into the ocean. Knowing this was bad, he began to run toward the hills. As he jumped over the hill he yelled tsunami and then linked arms with an Asian man. They tied themselves to the ridge beam in the Asian mans house and the wave came.

Jeremiah 11:1-11 – The Broken Covenant

The CRI team from Kansas City received repeated occurrences of the number 11-11, or 111. For example, they would show up to a hotel and get Room 111. They would throw their change onto the dresser and it would be 11 cents and 11 cents in another. Sean would lay down on the bed and open up a book to Jeremiah 11:11. He would get ready to speak to a man named Jeremiah about California, when a friend would come up to him and say, “It’s 11:11,” referring to what time it was at the moment.

This and countless other confirmations showed that the Lord was speaking about Jeremiah 11:1-11, which is a passage about the broken covenant of Israel. It talks about how God’s people turned their back on him to serve other idols and go after other gods. “Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.’” (Jeremiah 11:11)

Then the Lord told Sean to go back and look at the Mayflower Compact, signed by the forefathers of America. It says that “We hereby covenant ourselves to Almighty God. This nation is formed for the perpetuation of the gospel of Jesus Christ” (paraphrased). It was signed on November 11th, or 11/11. America made a covenant with God when it was formed, but has strayed. The Father longs to renew the covenant with America and redeem the rainbow over San Francisco.

Pony Express: Prophetic Messengers Coming to California

One day as they are on the road after meeting with an Asian church just over the hill from Half Moon Bay the presence of God fills the car and Rod gets a manifestation as if he were grunting like a horse. Just then as they turn a bend on the road, they drive past a truck full of horses with the Pony Express logo on the side. Sean had a post card with an advertisement for the Pony Express: “Looking for young, 18 – 25 year old riders for the Pony Express.” Rod, one of these four from KC, is a former postmaster in Missouri. Upon discovering that the Pony Express was a mail service that ran from Missouri to Sacramento, it was also the anniversary of the first riders being sent with the trip taking 11 days, both ways.

Before a disaster, the Lord would always send messengers with a warning for the people to repent. He sent Jonah to Nineveh to preach repentance. There needed to be widespread revelation in the land in order for the people to respond correctly. CRI believes that God wants to rise up prophetic messengers out of the place of weeping intercession. Joel 2:14- Who knows, maybe He will turn relent and leave a blessing behind. In God’s mercy he will eventually shake strategy to shake a city to repentance. Haggai 2:6-7 “For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.

CRI also is training and getting ready to deploy trained end-time missionaries to the theatre of crisis. They are currently building a base camp that can house hundreds of volunteer staff, a mobile disaster kitchen and a crisis house of prayer (CRI-HOP).

Other Signs

• There would be a great quake in Japan first, followed by a great quake in California
• When you see the evangelists leave the streets, then get ready, San Francisco

God’s Heart in Judging a Nation

The Bible also says that there will be earthquakes, famines, wars and rumors of wars in the days leading up to the end times (Mark 13:8). In the midst of these inevitabilities, it is important to understand God’s heart in bringing catastrophe upon a nation. He is not a big bad angry God who simply wants to punish people for stepping out of line. Rather, he does everything in the name of love, disciplining those He cares about. He allows a measure of pain to produce a great amount of good. Scripture shows that the Lord often delivered the wayward Israelites into the hands of their enemies in order to bring them back to a covenant relationship with Him.

Protection for the Righteous

The Lord spoke to the team about Psalm 91:3. In one meeting, feathers started to rain from the ceiling, followed by a random phone call from a friend who said, “It’s Psalm 91:3.” Shortly thereafter, a license plate they ordered showed up in the mail, with a picture of the Louisiana State bird and the numbers “913” on it.

This passage says that there is protection and deliverance for the ones who abide in Him.

“For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.” (Psalm 91:3-4)

In light of these warnings, God is not calling his people to act out of fear or self-preservation, but to seek Him and trust in Him. He is calling them back to the secret place. Although it is good to be physically prepared, the only thing that will truly prepare us for the times ahead is intimacy with the Lord.

The Coming Revival

Many have heard by now about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Florida that is spreading around the globe. We all talk about Joel 2 and the Spirit being poured out upon all flesh in the last days, but we forget the context. The outpouring is for crisis. CRI believes that the Lord is raising up a Joel 2 army for major crisis that is coming.

One day, Sean was on the phone with a disaster relief coordinator , who said that it was their belief that the Florida revival is a Joel 2 outpouring in preparation for an earthquake. He hung up the phone, and then got an email with a clipping of an April 22nd newspaper article in which the headline read, “US ARMY PREPARES FOR MASSIVE QUAKE.” Immediately after that, he received a second email saying that Bob Jones had just walked in and said, “Big earthquake, California, sooner than we think.”

This was again confirmed a few days later when Todd Bentley was honoring the fathers by having John Kilpatrick and Steve Hill from the previous revival in Pensacola, FL, on stage. John Kilpatrick, from the previous revival in Pensacola, FL, said that the Lord told him that one day a 3rd wave of revival was coming (speaking of this present one), but this revival was going to be different in that it would be in tandem with major end-time events. He then goes on to preach out of Joel 2 and describes a vision he had of an earthquake.

History has shown that there is no greater harvest field than the one that is borne out of the vacuum of crisis. This is a kairos moment for the church to become the hands and feet of Jesus and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Three Ways to Respond

How is the Holy Spirit telling you to respond? Here are three suggestions.

Be Praying

• For His people to have rest and intimacy with the Lord, staying rooted and grounded in love.
• For the body of Christ to be awakened and arise out of its slumber.
• For the Lord of the Harvest to send out his laborers to minister and become the hands and feet of Jesus.
• For an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and for a great harvest to come in.

Be Sharing the Word

Ezekiel 3:16-21 says that if a person has a word from the Lord and they have the opportunity to turn a wicked man from his ways, but doesn’t, then the blood of this wicked person is on his hands. Since we have heard the word of the Lord, we have a responsibility to share it with people so that they have a chance to repent. There is still time for people to hear the gospel of Christ before disaster.

Plant many churches

This church is called to do church planting in the days ahead. And the Lord spoke to me not one church but many churches will be planted out of this one local church, out of the leaders you raise up. That many people of this congregation will be sent out to plant, build, itinerate.

Plant another work in this area

Think it not strange when I begin to speak to you even in this area and even in more heavily populated areas, when I say lay the foundation for a church. And don’t worry about the pastorship, you just worry about laying the foundations, says the Lord. And money is going to come forth for you to go, yea, even plant another work in this area, says the Lord.

God is going to pour out His glory in this place.

As I was waiting upon God this afternoon, an angel of the Lord appeared before me, and this is the word the angel of God told me. He said: “God is going to pour out his glory in this place. The time for God to favor you has come.”

. . . This is what the angel of the Lord that came to visit me this afternoon told me about this church: you lack prayer. You are desiring for a move of God in your midst. . . . But one thing you lack. You are not a praying church. You are not seeking God. If you bend your knees and you learn to fast and pray, and press through, greater will you see the glory of God in your midst, which is not too far away from now. Not too far. God’s time to favor you has come. It won’t be too far. The time has come for all that you have done unto the Lord God. You have blessed the nations, you have blessed the poor. Now God’s time has come to favor you.

. . . When God’s perfect storm comes, you are no longer going to be a weakling. Everyone in this church is going to be a signs-and-wonder person. . . When the early and the latter rains come, all the children and all the young people I see in this church are going to become the Peter’s, the Paul’s, the Elijah’s. So get ready!

. . . My brothers and sisters, this is the word of the Lord that I bring to you today. God is going to pour out his glory upon this place, and the time for God to favor you has come. This thing you must do while you wait for the time to come: you must be a praying church. This is your great lack. This church must become a praying church. You must hunger and thirst after righteousness. Take hold of the horn of God, pressing through until a breakthrough comes. And secondly, patiently wait for Him.

. . . In the early church, every one of the believers were of one heart, one mind, one accord. Put away all your different agendas and come seeking God with one heart, one mind, one agenda. As I am speaking these words I see an angel standing beside me, and he has a huge pitcher in his hand with water. And this is what he’s conveying to me: on the day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the priests will stand on the steps of the temple and pour forth waters from the cauldrons, and the waters will flow down the steps to the people. And the Lord Jesus, watching this scene, cried with a loud voice saying, “If any man thirsts, let him come to me and I will give him living waters and he shall not thirst again, and out of the innermost of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters.” And the Apostle John writes saying, “This He spoke of the Holy Spirit.” And the angel standing here with the pitcher full of water signifies to me that he has been sent to pour out this water upon this church. Ezekiel 44:1-2 says God will pour out this water on the dry and thirsty land. The time for God’s favor has come and He has sent His angels ready to pour out his water. The question now is: are you thirsty? Are you thirsty? Are you willing to drink of this water?

The Holy Spirit shows me there are some of you who belong to this church who have differences of thoughts, differences of opinions inside your mind concerning the workings of God. Even while you heard me preach this word, there were doubts in your mind that crossed your heart concerning whether these things can really happen in these days, or what if not. You have a divided heart. . . . “He who is thirsty,” the Lord Jesus says, “Let him come and drink freely.” Put away your doubts. Put away suspicions. The Lord Jesus said, “Except a man humbles himself as a little child, he shall not see the kingdom of heaven, nor enter into it.” The things that God has reserved for these end times can only be understood and comprehended by those who are willing to humble themselves as little children, those who are willing to believe God as a little child would believe, with all simplicity of heart and mind, anything that is told to them.

The Lord Jesus is showing me that you are still lacking in faith to believe God for greater things. Your mind knows this can be done and that you would like this, but your heart is far from believing it. Faith is lacking. If you can put away your doubts, put away your unbelief and come together as a corporate church, constantly fasting and praying and seeking God as if your whole life depends on it, if you can do that, the Lord Jesus Christ, who’s standing in your midst right now towards my right side, tells me to tell you: surely He will cause this place to be an oasis for many to come and drink of the water and be satisfied with the water. And there’ll be green pastures in this area for many to come from many places, even from far away, willing to travel an hour and two to come to this place because they will say the grass is very green. The grass is very healthy. It makes you fat in the spirit, makes you strong. For they shall all see the glory of the Lord like a strong pillar of cloud, like a stormy cloud hovering above you. Like a twister that will hover and all can see from afar. Such will be the manifestation of the glory in this place if you can only believe. Are you willing to put away all unbelief and are you willing to believe?

. . . There shall no one be feeble among you, for you shall all be strong and do great exploits for the Lord your God. Thank you, wonderful Jesus! God’s glory will literally rest in this place like a cloud and your naked eyes shall see it and all who come shall see it when the time for God’s favor comes upon you when He pours out the former rain and the latter rain, every one of you will experience it, a torrential downpour upon each individual life. Thank you, wonderful Jesus! And your young and your children will experience the glory of God in a powerful manner, a powerful manner! These who are pure and simple will be the carriers and not just spectators, but participators in the glories of God, seeing open heavens, walking through an open heaven and doing the works of God. Thank you, wonderful Jesus!

. . . and God said He is going to pour out His glory in this place. The time for him to favor you has come. Whatever has been your history. . . . How much you have labored for the Lord, how much you have cried before the Lord, how much you have suffered for the Lord, how much you have felt that all your labors were either wasted or minimal. . . whatever has been your cry. I want to tell you tonight that your 28 years of labor have reached the throne of God. And at such an appointed time He sent me to your church and sent an angel to signify this word: “I will pour out my glory in this place, and my time to favor them has come.”

Has come! In this place! That is why I told you to pay careful attention to verse 2 Chronicles 7:12: “I have chosen this place for Myself, a house of sacrifice.” See that is the key, the place that God chooses to establish his name, to make it a habitation of His glory, must chiefly be a house of prayer. That is the foundation. You take away that foundation, the house collapses.

. . . The key catalyst that is needed is oneness of heart and mind among the whole congregation. Not one person or two persons agreeing, the whole congregation, everyone who is named in this church. . . must come into oneness of agreement, one heart, one mind, one soul. You must agree in oneness. Our hearts must become one. . . . The key secret for revival to break out in the early church is because of oneness. . . . That is why souls could be added to the church everyday. God could trust them. . . . Everyone in this church, this three churches that make up this one church, must resolutely agree that this thing is of the Lord alone. You must come into an agreement. . . . It is not enough for . . . a few of the people in this congregation to say, “OK pastor, we are one with you.” There must be one hundred percent agreement.
